This is much enough for running large games, and executing tasks smoothly. Moreover, it features a 4GB RAM as well. Can flagships such as Sony Xperia Z5 Premium or Samsung Galaxy Note 5 beat it in terms of hardware ?
Acer Predator 6 camera
Acer Predator 6 camera is a huge 21MP sensor. This is something very nice to put on a gaming phablet. Since only Sony Xperia Z series camera have 21MP sensor and above, Acer has carved the path for other devices to upgrade better camera.

Sony Xperia Z5 comes with three variants: the Z5 Compact, Z5 and Z5 Premium. However, some news circulating online have suggested that Sony will out another variant based on Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, called Sony Xperia Z5 Compact Premium. The name suggest it is a compact version of Sony Xperia Z5 Premium. Moreover, guess what? It comes with a huge 4GB RAM.
According to the rumored specs, Sony Xperia Z5 Compact Premium display is 4.6”. However, the resolution will be downgraded, resulting in a FHD screen. You won’t get 4k display for this version, but hey, you get an upgrade in RAM.
Sony Xperia Z5 Compact Premium boasts a huge 4GB RAM, much like its Z5 Premium brother. However, Sony Xperia Z5 Compact Premium battery is only 2900mAh. Still, it is 200mAh larger than that of Z5 Compact.
Sony Xperia Z5 family will likely have more members
Hopefully, Sony Xperia Z5 Compact Premium camera will be a 23MP sensor. This is almost the most notable feature on Sony Xperia Z5 variants. Moreover, its hybrid autofocus with the incredible speed of 0.03 seconds will totally win any camera battle.
We do not know Sony Xperia Z5 Compact Premium release date and pricing yet. However, by looking at how much the original Z5 costs, we guess Sony Xperia Z5 Compact Premium price in Philippines will be around PHP 30k. Not cheap, but relatively reasonable for a Sony flagship. Moreover, let us hope that the phone will not be an exclusive in Japan.
On September 3rd, at IFA 2015, Sony officially outed their latest Sony Xperia Z5 series. People have been excited about the Xperia Z5 specs they got to know until Sony unveiled their Xperia Z5 price tags as well as the other variants.
Sony Xperia Z5 price at launch date
Originally at IFA, here are Sony Xperia Z5 price, Xperia Z5 Premium price and Xperia Z5 Compact price as announced:
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium: £699 (around PHP 50K)
Sony Xperia Z5: £599 (around PHP 43K)
Sony Xperia Z5 Compact: £549 (around PHP 40K)
Yes, we believe you have had your own reactions and opinions about those price tags and hefty money. We have heard the public responses also. And so has Sony.
In other to make a positive movement on that, the Japanese company has decided to cut the price of their latest flagships Xperia Z5 series, just 3 days after the devices went on sale. We guess it’s time Sony realized no matter how awesome their smartphones could be, pricing will always be one important factor to push sales. Especially when we are having so many favorable choices for a very friendly budget: PHP 10K, PHP 15K and so on.
Sony Xperia Z5 price – 3 days later
Let’s go into details to see how much these Sony Xperia Z5 series price get their discount.
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium: £629 (around PHP 45K)
Sony Xperia Z5: £549 (around PHP 40K)
Sony Xperia Z5 Compact: £429 (around PHP 31K)
Based on the before-after price comparison, it is clearly to see that each device in the series gets at least a PHP 3K discount and up to PHP 9K. With these adjusted Xperia Z5 price, will it be more likely for Sony to sell more units of their latest flagships?? (We also wonder if they will keep going down 🙂 )
What do you think about the new Sony Xperia Z5 price after discount? Would you considering buying their first-in-the-world 4K display or rather pick a more budget smartphone instead?
Xiaomi Mi 5, the flagship that you have been waiting for almost a year, will be released soon. According to Xiaomi Mi 5 leak teaser, which surfaced online not too long ago, Xiaomi will hold its annual conference and announce the phone. Moreover, Xiaomi Mi 5 leak teaser also hints at fingerprint sensor. It seems fingerprint sensor has become the hype nowadays.
Although it has been one year since Xiaomi Mi 4 was released, Xiaomi Mi 5 is not out yet. People who are pleased with how Xiaomi Mi 4 performs certainly cannot wait for the new Xiaomi flagship.
It turns out that Xiaomi Mi 5 will not sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 if it is to release this year. However, as Sony seemingly solves the heating problems on Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 with Xperia Z5, Xiaomi Mi 5 will likely do well with this chip too.
Xiaomi Mi 5 scores more than 73k on Antutu with rumour Snapdragon 820 or Helio X20
Whatever chipset Xiaomi Mi 5 sports, we know for sure it will be a good choice. Not only does the device has 4GB RAM, but it also has large internal storage of either 16 or 64GB.
Xiaomi Mi 5 display is a 5.2” QHD with high pixel density. Xiaomi Mi 5 leak also shows that Xiaomi Mi 5 battery is a 3030mAh one.
Xiaomi Mi 5 camera is a 16MP sensor, the same as what we find on Samsung Galaxy Note 5 or Galaxy S6.
Xiaomi Mi 5 release date should be around the corner soon, since 2015 is coming to its Q4 already. We guess Xiaomi will unveil the phone in October or November. Xiaomi Mi 4 price is 15k , so Xiaomi Mi 5 price in Philippines should be around that range: PHP 15k – 18k.

In 2015, smart phone have sport more advanced and powerful hardware and sensors. More and more developed parts get integrated into one device. From a camera sensor, to battery, larger screen and more powerful processor, all have improved. Therefore, it is a norm for smart phones nowadays to sport a 64-bit processor. But what is it? What makes 64-bit processor better than 32-bit ones? Let us find out in this article.
Currently, manufacturers emphasize on their 64-bit processor when introducing smart phones. 32-bit and 64-bit refers to the way a processor handles data. The 64-bit processor will handle more memory than 32-bit one does. Therefore, your device may sport larger RAM comparing to a 32-bit handset.
Apart from supporting more RAM, 64-bit processor will perform tasks faster, making your phone faster and smoother. Moreover, since your apps developer will eventually turn from 32-bit to 64-bit, your phone will execute tasks even faster since compatibility is there.
Additionally, when video recording gets updated from Full HD to 2k and 4k video, things get hard to process. That is why we need 64-bit processor on our phones.
A 64-bit processor can also make your phone more secure. It protects your data with a stronger encryption than 32-bit smart phones. Since many apps nowadays require personal information as well as our Paypal credit number, of course we need our phones to be as secured as possible.
These are the pros of having a 64-bit processor on your smart phones. However, as the change from 32-bit processor is not so fast, of course it does not show any significant different yet. The next time you change your phone, all the new devices may sport 64-bit processor though. Therefore, it will not be a long time before all the smart phones, low end or high end, to sport 64-bit or even higher, faster processor.
Oneplus 2 is a notable example for a 64-bit processor on smart phones.
Price Pony readers, do you own a 64-bit processor smart phone? If not, check out some in this article.
