Huawei has been dropping huge hints regarding its next smartphone to wear the Honor brand name for several weeks, and now it’s here, Huawei Honor 8.

Huawei Honor 8: mid-range flagship

Earlier this month, I wrote some articles about the upcoming smartphone of Huawei. Back then, there were leaked details and now it is official. The Chinese company has just done a good job for its brand new Honor smartphone, which is the company’s mid-range flagship. Honestly, the company seems to work hard on Huawei Honor 8 design. Like expected, Huawei smartphone flaunts a 5.2-inch full HD display with 2.5D double glass body, which does make the device look premium and attractive.

Let’s check Huawei Honor 8 specs! The smartphone comes with Kirin 950 octa-core chipset clocked at 2.3GHz, not the Kirin 955 SoC that we hoped. The 950 onboard this new Honor handset couples with an octa-core CPU with four Cortex-A72 cores clocked at 2.3 GHz, four Cortex-A53 cores up to 1.8 GHz. Along with these components are three memory variants —  3GB RAM + 32GB, 4GB RAM + 32GB and 4GB RAM + 64GB. There will be also a 3000mAh battery in tow, which is the standard power pack among mid-range phones.

Furthermore, as for Huawei Honor 8 cameras, a 12MP dual camera setup along with the laser focus and dual LED flash module sits well on the top left corner of the back. On the front, an 8MP shooter with f/2.4 aperture is packed. The fingerprint sensor is also located on the back. 4G LTE is built-in, along with dual-SIM functionality and a USB Type-C port.

Huawei Honor 8 price starts at $300 for the 3GB + 32GB model, then goes up to $346 for the 4GB + 32GB model and $375 for the high-end 4GB + 64GB version. The phone offers five different colors namely Sapphire Blue, Pearl White, Midnight Black, Sunrise Gold and Sakura Pink. Huawei Honor 8 release date is expected to be primarily occurred in Europe in the coming weeks.

1. Lenovo Zuk Z2: 3,500 mAh

Lenovo has been too hot thanks to its smartphone lineups, especially Zuk series. After skipping Zuk Z1’s successor to produce Zuk Z2 Pro, Lenovo brought the skipped phone back – Lenovo Zuk Z2. Of course, as its name, it is not as “pro” as its sibling. Starting with this battery smartphone is because of its 3,500 mAh capacity, which is sealed in a metal body with 5-inch LTPS Full HD display.

Let’s check the Lenovo Zuk Z2 specs to see how powerful it is. The Z2 has the same processor as its brother, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 one. Can X7 be the next flagship of Vivo? Because the company is very busy releasing teasers. First is the 16MP front shooter teaser. Next is about the Vivo X7 specs. According to this one, the phone will have a home button on the front, instead of on the back like the usual. Some leak source even said that the phone will run on  MediaTek Helio X25. And now, another teaser confirming about specs has been published. Let’s see what they said about Vivo X7 specs are true. The phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset, not Helio X25. You can see that in the official teaser of Vivo. It says MSM8976 which means SDN 652. X7 will pack a 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage. As of course, the new phone from Vivo is gonna sport a 16MP selfie snapper as well as a fingerprint sensor.

The highlight of this phone is the front-facing camera. With this 16MP cam, the phone is believed to be the successor of Xshot. OnePlus 3 2016: 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM

OnePlus 3 is the successor of the well known OnePlus 1 and OnePlus 2. And our sources are hinting that, the new model will be coming with not 1, but 6 different variants for your choosing. First of all, a latest Geekbench listing shows that, at least 1 of the 6 variants will have 6GB RAM and be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC.  Next, a listing on Oppomart claimed that, there will be 3 different internal storage for this OnePlus 3: 32GB, 64GB and 128GB.

Apart from the 6GB RAM model, we have always been informed that OnePlus 3 will be a 4GB RAM beast. That being said, the total amount of 6 versions we are saying here include: 4GB RAM with 32, 64 or 128GB ROM and 6GB RAM with 32, 64 or 128GB ROM. To prove its worth, the device reached 2349 scores in single-core benchmark and 5635 points in the multi-core one on Geekbench.

Other OnePlus 3 specs we know for now cover: 5.5 inch display with 1080p resolution and Full HD AMOLED. There is a 3,000 mAH battery to power the whole device. For photography, OnePlus 3 camera feature a set of 16MP and 8MP modules with OIS and IMX 298 sensor by Sony. Although the company try to keep OnePlus 3 design as a secret, leaked renders are hinting that the device will have a premium look with all metal rear and shiny cover. Unlike OnePlus 2, OnePlus 3 will be sold invite-free starting June 14, as said current reports. Samsung Galaxy C7 specs is found recently on AnTuTu benchmarks. This reveals a C-series android phone from South Korean Manufacturer which will be introduced to the market soon.

Leaked on AnTuTu, The Galaxy C7 labeled with model name SM-C7000. It appears to have Snapdragon 625 8-core processor with a clocking speed at 2GHz. It features 4GB of RAM. The benchmarks also shows Adreno 506 GPU inside Galaxy C7 . There will be a 32GB onboard storage and can be expandable via micro SD card. Followed on AnTuTu 6, this devices scored at 60140 points.

The phone features 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels. It is supposed to have a thin metallic body. Samsung galaxy C7 is known as a dual- SIM phone which both slots are for micro SIM. The device comes with fingerprint sensors and runs on Android Marshmallow (version 6.0.1).

As far as the cameras are concerned, Galaxy C7 is suggested to get a 8MP front-facing camera for selfies. On the back, the primary camera will have 16MP along with phase detection autofocus, LED flash supported.

New Lenovo ZUK model is coming with 4GB RAM and…

The one we want to talk about is Lenovo ZUK Z2, a successor to Lenovo ZUK Z1 debuting in August 2015. Actually it was confirmed long ago, but it is recently that much information of the handset has been unveiled. Speaking specifically, a model dubbed Z2121 appeared on Antutu benchmark with some detailed features. However, some say it is Lenovo ZUK Z2 Pro, not the original machine. Anyway, we are so glad to know that the phone will come with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip.

In addition to the Lenovo ZUK Z2 Pro specs, basically there will be a Full HD display, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box, 3/4GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal memory (we hope it can be expanded via microSD card slot). In terms of camera, the main one is capable of 13 megapixels and the secondary snapper is 8 megapixels. They are pretty standard but still able to bring you fantastic pictures for sure.

Although Antutu did not reveal a full sheet of the ZUK Z2 Pro’s hardware, it still totally can become a powerful competitor on the shelves. One more important thing is that if the phone is really going to be equipped with a rotating shooter as what we heard before, definitely it will stand out among a lot of smartphones nowadays.

Lenovo ZUK Z2 Pro price and availability

Despite not knowing whether that is ZUK Z2 or Z2 Pro, or they are just one, you only have to wait a few more days to see it since the launch will officially take place on April 21, 2016. This was claimed by the Chinese company’s CEO Chang Cheng on Weibo. For the price, we predict it will cost around $360 to compete well with many other 4GB RAM smartphones out there.

ZTE Nubia X8 Specs: 4GB of RAM, 4500 mAh Battery

Nubia X8 is suppected to be released along with the TENAA flagship name Z11. As we learned from the website, they have 2 forms of X8 which are normal and mini version. Based on the hardware alone of Nubia X8, the smartphone has borderless design with 6-inch 2K resolution display.   It is uncertain which processor Nubia X8 has, but possibly the Snapdragon 652 and 1.8Ghz chipsets. There will be 4 GB of Ram comes with 64GB internal storage and can be expanadable.

Nubia X8 run on the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and has fingerprint scanner. With X8, the battery life goes up to 4500 mAh that can use for a long period of time.
