Flagship Xiaomi Mi5 to come in February with Snapdragon 820
Recently, there has been a post by the Chinese manufacturer’s co-founder Li Wanqiang, appearing on Weibo and announcing that Xiaomi Mi5 launch will occur soon, or after the Lunar New Year February 8, 2016 to be specific. Well, no more rumor for now! However, if it is true, Xiaomi Mi5 will have to compete with the premium Samsung Galaxy S7 and its variants, which can make it hard a bit for Xiaomi. Don’t you think?
Besides, some details about the phone’s hardware have also got revealed. In the social media status, Mr. Li Wanqiang claimed that the handset has been in mass production and waiting for orders before coming out of the house. With the processor speed clocked at 2.3 GHz, the Exynos 8890 scored almost 7,000 points in the multi-threaded Geekbench test, and 2294 on the single-core one. This Exynos 8890 Benchmark result is by far the highest mobile score we’ve ever seen.
If the chip set turns out to be what we know by now, it will be a great selling point for Samsung Galaxy S7. This is not the first time ever Samsung impress with premium performance in the smartphone industry. Earlier their Galaxy Note 5 display was crowned the best display ever among smartphone devices.

Huawei does not give any information about the phone’s specs, or what size this display will be. For example, it needs at least of 4GB RAM and 5000mAH for such a 2k display.
Since Huawei has not launched any device with QHD resolution yet, we cannot say how good the phone will be. However, as Huawei is the 3rd largest mobile manufacturer now, the company may have boosted their products onto a better level. Many sources state that Huawei is planning to produce around 3 million units of curved screen phone. Therefore, we hope the phone will have a competitive price also.
