Nokia Edge 3D trailer: Stunning design

A fresh video of Nokia Edge has been spotted recently. The phone design belongs to Techconfigurations, and it is absolutely beautiful. It looks even better than most flagships these days. The device has the typical metal build and a curved glass panel upfront. The dual front speakers are also a nice touch, especially since the Galaxy S8 won’t have that. The back side also curves at the edges, much like the Galaxy S7 and Note 7. The specs are pretty solid too. Nokia Edge will have a 5.7″ 2K AMOLED screen, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Under the hood is 6GB of RAM and a quad-core processor. The Snapdragon 835 is an octa-core, so this phone will probably use another chip. Maybe Nokia will make its own processor like what Xiaomi and Huawei are doing. But it’s just a wild guess. Nokia refuse to answer any question about their future products. However, we know for sure that a new Nokia flagship will come this June. It could be the Nokia Edge or any other high-end device from Nokia like Nokia 8 or Nokia 9. So now, sit back and keep your finger crossed.

1. Nokia E1

The phone was spotted a while ago and seems to be a price-friendly device. A worker from a Nokia factory took a picture of the phone and leaked on the internet. In terms of Nokia E1 specs, it features a 5.2″ HD display, along with a Snapdragon 1.4GHz quad-core and Adreno 308 under the hood. The phone offers 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. No information about external storage is available right now, but we suspect it will have a microSD slot.

The device is mounted with a 13MP back camera with autofocus and LED flash, capable of recording 1080p@30fps videos. Meanwhile, the front camera is 5MP. Nokia E1 will come in two color options: Black and White. Nokia E1 price is not yet announced, but we expect it to be cheaper than Nokia 3.

Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is constantly out of stock in China. However, the phone is still available in most international stores (take that China!). But be prepared to pay higher price for it. If you don’t know about Xiaomi Mi Note 2, here are all the glorious specs. The phone comes with a 5.7″ FHD AMOLED display and a Snapdragon 821 quad-core (2 x 2.35GHz + 2 x 1.6GHz). The SND 821 is Qualcomm’s most powerful chipset right now, at least until the SND 835 is available. So in term of performance, the Mi Note 2 can compete with flagships from Samsung and LG.

The phone comes in two variants: one with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM, the other with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM. Note that both models’ storage can’t be expand. As for Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Global Version cameras, the phone is mounted with a 22.5MP f/2.0 snapper on the back and an 8MP f/2.0 shooter on the front. The device is powered by a 4070mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology. On the front panel is a fingerprint scanner.

Along with some great specs, the phone is also praised for its design. It has a two-sided dual curved design (2.5D) with an aluminum frame and Gorilla Glass Protection 3 coated. The only difference of the Global Version from the Chinese Model is the English interface MIUI 8.

However, from many leaks about the phone, Concept creator has come up with a beautiful design for the phone. So let’s take a look at the video and find out what this monster has to offer.

According to his design, Nokia 9 will boast a 5.5″ 2K display, probably protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s most powerful chipset, the Snapdragon 835, along with 6GB RAM and 64/128GB ROM. If 128GB ROM is still not enough for you, there’s a microSD card slot on the side (up to 256GB).On the back is an iconic 41MP PureView camera from Nokia, while the front panel will house another camera with an Iris-scanner.

The phone also comes with dual speakers with subwoofer effect integrated. It has a slim design and is only 7.4mm thick. Nokia 9 runs on latest Android 7.1 and a 3650mAh battery.

5. Oppo R9s Plus

Final and fifth place occupied by Oppo R9s Plus. Oppo R9s Plus comes with a 6-inch 1080p display, and in addition is characterized by Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 chipset and 6 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal memory and a battery of 4000 mAh. The front camera is 16 MP (f/2.0). The rear camera is also 16 MP (f/1.7), but with phase detection autofocus, OIS, and LED flash. 6. Xiaomi Mi6

No. 6 is Xiaomi Mi6. What we’ve heard so far is that Mi6 will be available with 3 main variants. The highest-end one will pack a ceramic body and 6GB of RAM while the other two flat-screened models will carry 4GB of RAM. For the rest, they don’t have any differences, which means whatever ver you get, you’re gonna have a 5.15-inch 2K display, 3D Touch tech, MIUI 8.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, a Snapdragon 835 chip, 64/128GB of ROM (expandable), fast charging, and a dual 12MP primary + 4MP secondary snapper duo on board.
