HTC O2 beast: 4GB RAM, 21MP & Snapdragon 820
As HTC smart phone sales drop dramatically, the company needs something to save their brand. Only a flagship that stands out and meets many requirements from users can do it. Therefore, just earlier today, HTC announces their next high end device – HTC O2. However, what makes this phone special?
According to many Chinese sources, HTC O2 display is a huge 2K. This means HTC O2 will join the QHD team upon release. The display is a 6’’ screen, thus the pixel density will be 490ppi. Moreover, with this device, HTC may change their flagship series name. Maybe the brand just does not think One series will make it.
HTC One M9+ may be the last of the One series
HTC O2 sounds fresher, since everyone needs O2 to live
The Taiwanese manufacturer also equips a lot of new, most powerful hardware for HTC O2 specs. HTC O2 will probably sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 & Hydra quad core, which will be shipped at the end of this year. However, as the device is rumored to be out in October, this might not be the most reliable specs. Additionally, HTC O2 will be equipped with an Adreno 530 for its GPU.
The phone also has a 4GB RAM with 64 or 128Gb internal storage. HTC O2 battery is 3500mAH, which is quite impressive.
HTC O2 camera is a massive 21MP sensor on the back. With this camera, HTC O2 can be on spar with the Xperia series or other high end flagships from bigger brands. However, the front sensor is only 5MP, which is not quite appealing to selfie lovers. Even mid range phones have at least 8MP for front camera.
What’s even more interesting is that HTC O2 will have an IP certificate. This means there will be waterproof and dustproof features for the first time on an HTC phone.
This Taiwanese brand is quite popular even in Philippines. However, as their sales keep dropping, will HTC O2 save the entire brand name? Hopefully, when HTC O2 releases in Philippines, it will make a big boom. Since HTC One M9 costs around 27k right now, so HTC O2 price in Philippines will be likely around PHP 30k to 40k.

HTC Volantis tablet: 8.9”, 8MP cam and HUGE 5GB RAM to wow the internet
In the time when every mobile producer is focusing on launching new smartphones, HTC may come back to the tablet market this year. From last month, we have heard about a table called HTC Volantis (aka Flounder). However, only until now did we see very new and interesting details leaked over the internet
According to the leakings from @Evleaks, HTC Volantis tablet may pack a HUGE 5GB of RAM that can make the internet go crazy. Since 4GB RAM is a beast spec that can help any smartphone sells well these days, if this 5GB RAM tablet comes true, there is no doubt it can make great business.
Other HTC Volantis specs we know for now include:
– A 8.9 inch display with 2,560 x 1,600 pixels
– BoomSound speakers
– 5MP / 8MP rear camera
– Silver aluminum unibody
– 64GB of ROM, and a 64-bit Nvidia Tegra K1 processor
Also from the leaks, @evleaks shared an “HTC Volantis macro shot”, suggesting the device’s code name is Flounder. It also mentioned a line reads “Android Silver OS Alpha 1.4”. Android Silver is Google’s future program that has not even been announced yet. Let’s wait and see if this HTC Volantis tablet will be featuring the brand new OS.
HTC has not announced any further about the Volantis release date, pricing or availability yet. However, it is very much likely that we can see this new HTC tablet in Q4 2015, at the high sales season.
Shiny HTC Aero render showing volume buttons on the bottom
With the disappointing sales from the featured flagship One M9, the Taiwan company, HTC is working hard to save the day. It has been announced about a brand new smartphones, known as HTC Aero, which is scheduled to launch in October. It is no surprise that HTC will develop this Aero device with everything that the HTC One M9 failed to offer.
Although we don’t know much further rather than an announcement from HTC CEO – Cher Wang about launching a new “hero device” for ending of this year, there have already been a lot of leaking and rumors surrounding the flagship. It seemed that HTC has already learnt their lesson and this Aero smartphone is going to be a very nice surprise that is worth waiting for.
HTC is good at making everyone curious by revealing small leaks times after times. Although we don’t know much about HTC Aero official specs yet, what has been talked about is quite intriguing.
In this post, we want to introduce to you very nice HTC Aero render design by famous product designer Kasan Haymak. From what he envisioned, the Aero smartphone from HTC will have a front panel free of side bezels. Meanwhile, the back panel is a bit curved and very shiny, which looks similar to a fashion sports car.
HTC Aero special camera
This upcoming HTC Aero camera sensor is also what gives the phone much attention. HTC said they would give the device advanced rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and support for RAW photo quality, which is only found in professional cameras.
Which makes Hasan Kaymak’s render appealing and somehow controversial is the volume buttons. Different from usual position on one of the side rear, in Hasan’s design, they are placed on the bottom. Overall, we don’t know how this HTC Aero render will finally turn out in real life, but the design looks really exciting.
HTC Aero partial features we know so far:
– 5”+ Quad HD display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560
– Corning Gorillaz Glass 4 with curved 2.5D surface
– Enhanced camera that capture RAW pictures

Spy pic of HTC Hima, stay next to HTC M8
Yesterday, there is a spy photo about our long-awaited HTC Hima (or HTC”M9″). This is not the first time having a leaked pic of its mystery phone. And i feel really excited and curious about its phone much. And although these frankly haven’t been officially announced yet, but they do look pretty believable.
Its phone is expected to introduce at MWC 2015. It might be a long time for us. This device appears incredibly similar to its latest generation – the HTC M8 therefore, its phone is alleged to be named as HTC M9 (as logically) but some rumours call it as HTC Hima. While our yesterday photo can’t show too much about its phone, this spy image can make us much more clearly. It is a comparison shot, therein, our mytery phone is in the left and old HTC’s generation – M8 is center.
Having a quick glance at this pic might make you think that the Hima highly seems a bit smaller than its sibling. We don’t know this is a real pic for sure or not. But we can easily realize that its expected phone has much obvious smaller bezels so if the screen size still keep the same at 5″, meaning the Hima could at least be narrower, if not a tad shorter.
Another thing is about the speaker grille underneath the screen has be different somewhat, compared to its last generations. Moreover the front-facing flash shows a touch larger as well.
This leaked photo might be fake, meaning a concept rendering. It’s more necessary to see this phone in more reliable look, official design. But, wait, we need to stay tuned.
