Nokia C1 teaser revealed Nokia new design

Nokia is expected to return to the smartphone market in 2017 with two products, called Nokia D1C with two versions and Nokia Pixel – a low-end budget smartphone. Both have their configuration shown on GeekBench and now a new phone images have just been revealed in the Nokia C1 teaser video. As in the first glance we can see an extraordinary design with high-end unibody.

Like other Nokia up-coming phones, Nokia C1 will run on Android OS, hopefully Android Nougat 7.0. Its premium metal design promises the dustproof and water-resistant IP68 standards. As we can see in the teaser, there would be a triple LED flash along with a Xenon one on the back of the phone. Similar to Nokia ExpressMusic 2017, Nokia C1 teaser shows the diamond pattern at the back or the phone. An USB Type C port may also be here and the edges seem very rounded, even the top and bottom ones

Meanwhile, the strategic deal between the Finnish company and HMD and FIH is also in effect. This means that Nokia phones are now back to the Nokia official site, and under HMD as their new home. However, please note that only Nokia feature phones are back to Nokia and HMD, as Lumia devices are still owned by Microsoft.

The name of the phone model listed on GeekBench is “Nokia Pixel”. This model has quite low configurations with Snapdragon 200 chipset and 2 cores running at 1.19 GHz speed along with the Adreno 302 graphic GPU. The strangest thing we want to notify is its 1GB RAM, which is very low compared to other budget phones now. In addition, the device also supports Quick Charge 3.0 and gets Android OS 7.0.1 preinstalled.

Compared to Nokia D1C’s unveiled GeekBench scores not long ago, Nokia Pixel is much inferior when it reached only 404 points in single-core test and 661 points in multi-core test. This is quite understandable when Nokia D1C using Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, Adreno 505 graphics chip and up to 3 GB RAM.
