Nokia Swan render leaked: 4GB RAM and 42MP PureView camera!

Nokia has disappeared for quite a long time and that drives some Nokia fans crazy. However, new Nokia design renders keep being leaked as something for the fans to look forward to! Today, let’s take a look at one of them: Nokia Swan render!

nokia swan render

Nokia Swan render: One of the best Nokia phone to ever be reported!

While people still don’t know where the “Swan” comes from, smartphone fans are really impressed by what this Nokia mobile offers! According to the leak, Nokia Swan will be a foldable smartphone with dual-screen. This is something we already witnessed at the Lenovo Tech World earlier this year, and now, it looks like Nokia will be the first brand to produce such technology! As reported, each of the display of Nokia Swan measures 5.3 inches. When opened, this phone becomes a 11-inch tablet! Such flexibility!

With such an impressive design, it will be so disappointing if other Nokia Swan specs are not equally awesome! Fortunately, according to the leak, this Nokia handset will arrive with a powerful Intel CPU. There’s no information about its clock speed, but it is hinted that a 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM will be available at the heart of this phone. Moreover, based on what we can see from the leaked images of Nokia Swan render, this phone will run Android, not Windows anymore!

nokia swan render hihi

Another highlight that we can’t help discussing is the camera. The leak of Nokia Swan render has revealed that there will be a massive 42MP camera located on the back of this phone. More interestingly, it will be powered by Nokia’s signature camera technology: PureView. If you think this is too unreal, let us remind you that Nokia Lumia 1020, which was released in 2012, carries a 41MP PureView camera! So it is definitely possible for Nokia to implement this for Nokia Swan.

Nokia Swan render: Something to look forward to!

So far, those are the only details we have collected about this phone. It is unfortunate that Nokia has not made any confirmation about this Nokia Swan render (or even other Nokia phones leaked recently). However, the idea of this phone is too good to ignore! Nokia comeback is expected to be at the end of this year. So let’s be patient and we will soon know which phone will be the first “soldier” for the comeback of this king!

Nokia P1 vs Nokia E1: Upcoming Nokia phones with 20MP+ camera

Nokia is never an old topic. As this brand is about to make a comeback at the end of this year, we would like to make a comparison between two reportedly new phones the company is going to launch, Nokia P1 vs Nokia E1!

Nokia P1 vs Nokia E1: Upcoming Nokia handsets

First of all in this Nokia P1 vs Nokia E1 battle, let’s mention the CPU and the RAM. Nokia P1 is expected to run one of the latest and most impressive chipsets from Qualcomm – Snapdragon 820. Along with it is an ample 3GB RAM. On the other hand, Nokia E1 is reported to house a 2.3GHz Intel 64-bit Atom processor and 2GB RAM. So in terms of performance, Nokia P1 is a bit stronger, but it doesn’t mean Nokia E1 is a bad choice!

Next in this Nokia P1 vs Nokia E1 competition, let’s evaluate the camera. According to the latest leaks, Nokia P1 will possibly arrive with a 22.6MP primary camera and a 5MP selfie snapper. Meanwhile, a 20MP camera and the same 5MP front facing snapper are hinted to be present in Nokia E1. We are not sure whether the main shooters of both phone will feature PureView technology, but it is likely that will be the case. After all, it is Nokia’s trademark technology that makes many people love Nokia smartphones.

Nokia P1

So what about other Nokia P1 specs and Nokia E1 specs? Accordingly, both of these Nokia phones will arrive with the same internal storage: 32GB. However, they sport different screens and batteries. To be more specific, in Nokia P1, there will be a 5.3-inch full HD display and a 3000mAh battery. In Nokia E1, there will be a 4.95-inch screen and a 2700mAh cell.

Nokia P1 vs Nokia E1: Which one is better?

So based on the specs below, we can easily see that Nokia P1 is the better one. Too bad there’s no information about Nokia P1 price and Nokia E1 price yet, but as reported, Nokia P1 will be aimed at the high-end segment while Nokia E1 will attack the mid-range one. That somehow explains why Nokia E1 specs are not as powerful as Nokia P1 specs. Let’s wait until these Nokia mobiles become official and we will see which one is more popular.

First Nokia smartphone might have just been teased online

We are no stranger to the anticipation of Nokia come back. And it looks like the company has just teased their first Nokia smartphone online.

Nokia smartphone

First Nokia smartphone: it just got teased?

After quite a long time of absence, Nokia finally made a formal confirmation of their comeback to the mobile market. This piece of news had excited their fans all around the world, who are still considering Nokia as a legend in the smartphone industry. Subsequently, reports have it said, there will possibly be 4 Nokia smartphone to launch soon. Among those, Android-based Nokia P1 and Nokia C1 are 2 of the most highly expected smartphones to reach mass production.

Just in early September, a poster was spotted on Nokia’s official Twitter account, looking like a possible teaser of the first Nokia phones to launch. Looking at the picture, you can see the back of a Nokia smartphone that has never been announced before. At first glance, the phone appears with an elegant body that fits in the hand and seems metallic. Other than that, there is a slogan “Technology should make our lives more comfortable” and a hashtag #OurFansRock.

The Twitter post received positive reactions from Nokia fans around the worlds, many of which shared the excitement from those who can’t wait for the grand come back. That being said, Nokia will make an official return at the end of this year. And we should be expecting their first Nokia smartphone to be announced either late 2016 or early 2017.

Nokia Smartphone 2016 – it’s getting close

Nokia smartphone was once a legend everyone craved to have. And latest movements are showing that the company is trying to gain back their glory. Nokia P1 VS Sony Xperia XZ: 3GB RAM beasts with 20MP+

Nokia P1 VS Sony Xperia XZ smartphones are among the most awaited flagships in the market of 2016. Since both of them feature 3GB of RAM, we are putting them in a comparison to see the strengths and weaknesses of each device.

Nokia P1 VS Sony Xperia XZ: 3GB RAM camera beasts

Nokia P1 was recently introduced as the first Nokia smartphone to be launched at the end of 2016, when the Giant makes their official comeback to the smartphone market. This Nokia-branded P1 will be produced under the technology of Sharp Aquos. It is also reported to pack the same combination of specs with the upcoming Sharp Aquos P1. Meanwhile, Sony Xperia XZ has just been announced by the Japanese manufacturer at IFA 2016 (happening from Sept 4 to Sept 7 in Berlin, Germany).

First of all, let’s have a look at Nokia P1 VS Sony Xperia XZ specs comparison. As reported thus far, both phones will come with a decent 3GB of RAM, and the powerful Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor. For storage purpose, Nokia P1 comes with 32GB of ROM that can be further expandable to 200GB. At the same time, Sony Xperia XZ offers 2 versions: 32 and 64GB built-in storage, which is extendable up 256GB (dedicated slot). In terms of battery, the Sony smartphone sports 2,900 mAH cell with fast charge – and Nokia P1 comes with 3,000 mAh capacity. Although 100 mAH is not a big difference, with Nokia’s reputation in phone battery, we are predicting the P1 battery life will be much longer than its counterpart.

Nokia P1 VS Sony Xperia XR

Let’s check out Nokia P1 VS Sony Xperia XZ cameras – the features of high importance for any smartphone. That being said, the Aquos P1 sports a 22.6MP main camera and 5MP for selfie. We are hoping that the Nokia P1 camera will have the “Pureview” label on it at release. On the other hand, the XZ cameras pack 23MP on the back nad 13MP on the front. Since both Sony and Nokia are famous for their outstanding sensors, its really tough to pick out a winner in this particular aspect.

Nokia P1 VS Sony Xperia XZ: ending the competition with…>

Before jumping to the conclusion, also notice that both Nokia P1 VS Sony Xperia XZ have all metal bodies that come in handy with 5.3 inch and 5.2 inch displays respectively. Scanning through all features, we can tell that both mobiles are tough rivals to one another. We can’t wait for Nokia P1 official release to get its price tag. Because if the phone costs less than Xperia XZ price (roughly 800USD), Nokia will easily gain huge advantage in this competition.

4 Nokia Android Nougat handsets to launch this year: 4GB RAM and what else?

This time, Nokia brought very exciting news for their fans around the world. A new CEO has been appointed, and the company even confirmed 4 news Android Nougat devices this year, as Nokia is to “rise again”.

Nokia Android Nougat

Nokia to rise again: New CEO and Nokia Android Nougat devices

According to reports from the Finnish company, Ex-Rovio CEO – Pekka Rantala has been appointed to become the Chief of Marketing to contribute to Nokia’s mobile business. Before switching to Rovio – the developer of Angry Birds, Rantala used to work at Nokia for 17 years in its heyday. On receiving the new duty, Rantala told CNET at an interview: “I love Nokia, I love what it stands for and I’d love to see it rise again”.

Also very currently, it was confirmed that Nokia will be launching 4 new devices this year. These mobile devices will be made under the guidance of HMD, and produced and distributed by Foxconn (who took over Nokia feature phone business from Microsoft earlier this year). These HMD-made Nokia phones will get through branding, licensing and patent access before 2016 ends.

Nokia Android Nougat

Among the 4 devices we mentioned above, it is said that there will be 3 smartphones and 1 tablets. All of them will be shipped with Android Nougat pre-installed – the latest OS from Google. As recent leaks are suggesting the model name Nokia P1, Nokia also claimed that they will take on newest Snapdragon processors for at least 2 of their upcoming mobiles. These devices will also pack a minimum of 4GB RAM, QHD AMOLED displays as well as water and dust resistant.

Nokia Android Nougat: a grand come back

Rantala is obviously excited to take on the new position and bring this giant Nokia back into life. And so are we, tech lovers who have been following up with the news, ever since the first rumors started to leak that Nokia will rise again and come back to the mobile market. (Source: 1 and 2)

Samsung steals idea from Motorola for their Galaxy Note 7?

At Galaxy Note 7 release date, the Korean company is suggested to steal the idea from Motorola for this Note. So, is it true that Samsung steals the cool feature from Motorola phones?

Samsung steals

Samsung steals Always On display of Note 7 from Motorola?

Galaxy Note 7 – a dreamer’s device – has just created a fever in the last couple weeks. With stunning dual-curved screen design and powerful specs, this phone is one of a kind. Not even mention that this new Samsung flagship has some unique and cool features. Iris scanner, dust+water proof, and Always On display are some examples. Everyone is so excited for the day this handset is available in the market. Galaxy Note 7 release date was on 19th August.

However, it seems like that the release date of this Note is not so smooth. Right before Galaxy Note 7 was released, Motorola had said that Samsung steals their idea. This brand posted on the Twitter with the hashtag of #TheOriginalAlwaysOnDisplay and #motozdroid. The company claimed that the Korean giant stole the cool feature-Always On display from them. Along with the status is a picture of their Moto Z.

Samsung steals

This is kinda weird. Because Note 7 is not the first Samsung device to sport this feature. Always On display used to be equipped on the couple Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. However, this feature is not stand out on these two handsets. It’s not until Note was “born” that this cool feature is hugely improved.

Always On display is not originally from Motorola

And if you don’t remember, we’ll remind you. Always On display is not the original feature from Motorola. This kind of feature used to be seen on Nokia handset- MeeGo-based N9 or Nokia N8. After that, the feature was developed with the name of Glance Screen. Motorola is just the first brand to released an Android phone having Always On display, or Active Display. So, it’s not true to say that Samsung steals Always On display from Motorola.

A new CEO + new OS: enough for Nokia comeback?

Nokia is replacing the management system. A new CEO are appointed and he announced to rise Nokia up again. But are they enough for Nokia comeback this year?

Android Nokia comeback 2016

Who is standing behind Nokia comeback?

As you know, Microsoft is producing Lumia smartphones. Many people expect the biggest software giant can bring a new life for Nokia brand. But all Microsoft got a failure. Still, Nokia will come to the smartphone market again, but in a different way. From recent reports, Nokia phones will be continued manufacturing by Foxconn.

That is a little confusion, but all we should know is: Nokia will come back this year with many surprises. And there are at least two companies which stand behind the Nokia comeback: Foxconn and HMD. Foxconn bought the Nokia feature phone from Microsoft earlier this year. Now, the company intends to take Nokia back to high-end segment. Meanwhile, HMD-a generated firm of Nokia phones, will get brand licensing and patent access in exchange for royalty payments.

Android Nokia comeback 2016

Besides, Nokia has recently appointed new CEO.  Rantala land at this position again since he left Nokia in 2011. After being appointed, he announced that Nokia is preparing carefully for a come back this year. And the first Nokia phone will run Android OS.

Nokia comeback: a New Success or a Next Failure?

Nokia is renewing the management system but is that enough to rebirth this old brand? We’ll just have to wait and see. But there is a lot of Nokia lovers that would love to see the brand back with the revenge. As Rantala told: “I love Nokia, I love what it stands for and I’d love to see it rise again.”  And Android is definitely the weapon Nokia needs to fight to its enemies! What do you think about that?

Nokia XL 2 leaked: Android-powered phone that looks like Nokia Lumia 930

As we are expecting the grand come-back of Nokia in late 2016, a new source leaked an interesting piece of news: the allegedly Nokia XL 2 has been spotted online. And it looks like Nokia Lumia 930

Nokia XL 2

Nokia XL 2: similar design to Lumia 930

Before being bought over by Microsoft, Nokia had had many smartphones in the X series. However, several of them had been cancelled by Microsoft before reaching mass production. This time, as the contract is expiring soon, our sources are suggesting that Nokia is trying to bring these concept design back into life. Nokia XL 2 is one of the first the resubmerge. And leak started in China showing off a real-life machine.

Nokia XL 2 leak immediately went viral because of its design. It looks undeniably alike to the well known Nokia Lumia 930 in terms of appearance. The metal frame, thickness and dimension all look pretty familiar to its sibling. We would also like to notice that, there are the typical capacitive home buttons on the front that help distinguish Nokia X series to other smartphones.

Nokia XL 2

Talking about Nokia XL 2 specs, our sources suggest a handy 5-inch display that sports 720p resolution. Other than that, there is no confirmation about RAM and other features. However, with 720p resolution, the phone is said to fit in the lower-range smartphone category. Therefore, we are guessing that Nokia XL 2 will pack 2GB RAM, around 20MP camera Pureview and at least 3,000 mAH battery. And most importantly, the phone will be powered by Android OS – currently the most popular operating system in the market.

Nokia XL 2: another budget Android phone by Nokia

Learning from their old mistake, Nokia hinted that their future smartphones will be Android-based device and cost very affordable prices to reach bigger group of customers. Are you interested in an Android Nokia phone that looks like a famous Lumia device we all loved. Source

Nokia C1 design

Nokia C1 design: stunning, realistic, fashionable

Earlier we know about Nokia C1 as a miniature version of Nokia N1 tablet, with similar design and synced feature. The latest Nokia C1 design render published by Techconfigurations seems to be proving it true. At first glance, Nokia C1 design looks like that of a classic elegant Android smartphone with alloy body with the combination of a premium glass screen. Such choice of material gives the phone a feel of high fashion yet still solid as a machine.

Also according to the same source, Nokia C1 specs will include 5.5 inch full HD display. This screen is protected by high-quality 2.5D glass. There is 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage to power the phone. As for the camera, there will be 13MP on the back and 5MP on the front. The report didn’t clarify whether this Nokia C1 design will be featuring Pureview sensor for it main shooter. But we really hope to see the Pureview on this Android Nokia phone, as this is such a cool feature everyone falls in love with. Nokia C1 price has not been specified yet, but will be no more than USD 300, as Nokia planned to target the budget market the moment they get back.

Nokia C1 design

Nokia C1 will be running over Android Marshmallow by the time it is launched. There is a customized Z Launcher UI to distinguish the smartphone from others. More interestingly, we also heard that, there seems to be a “compact” version of this mobile. The variant is slightly smaller with 5 inch display, slightly lower end with 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM. However, this is yet to be confirmed by the company.

Nokia C1 design: witness the dawn of a new Era

Besides those stunning images published, Techconfigurations also introduce a 3D video of this Nokia C1 design, so you can have a fuller, more detailed look of it. We are getting more and more excited for Nokia come back, as their recent render designs never cease to surprise and please us with how gorgeous they can be. As far as we know, the grand event of Nokia come back will be held later this year, Q4 2016.
