LG G6 is expected to be announced next month at MWC 2017. Prior information has suggested that the device will feature Qualcomm latest SoC, the Snapdragon 835. The Galaxy S8 will be available in Korea on April 14, so Qualcomm needs to their partner has enough supply.
However, this would make Snapdragon 835 unavailable to flagship phones from other manufacturers for a while. The same thing may have happened to HTC as their U Ultra arrived with Snapdragon 821. The SND 821 is a good processor, but the SND 835 is far better and can even run a full version of Windows 10.
