Xiaomi Redmi 3A

Xiaomi Redmi 3A to come with 3GB RAM, Marshmallow OS and…

Xiaomi Redmi 3A is considered as the successor of Xiaomi Redmi 2A, announced in March, 2015. The 2A is actually a normal smartphone with a 4.7-inch HD screen, a Leadcore L1860C quad-core 1.5GHz chip, a 8MP/2MP camera combo, a 2,200mAh battery, 8GB ROM, and 1GB RAM. Well, we thought the 3A would be just a bit better than its elder brother, but it is not. It is much better, to be exactly.

Lately, Xiaomi Remi 3A has shown up on GFXBench under the name “Land”. Furthermore, some of its specifications are listed as well, and they are not what others can look down on. Speaking specifically, Xiaomi Redmi 3A specs include a 5.0-inch HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 octa-core 1.4GHz processor paired with Adreno 505 GPU, up to 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box.

Besides, it is said that the handset will also support LTE Cat.7 network and Quick Charge 3.0 tech although the phone’s battery capacity has not been revealed yet. So, those are some details about the upcoming device of Xiaomi. Hopefully more information related to the Redmi 3A’s cell, shooters, and other features will come in the next days. Let’s wait and see!

Xiaomi Redmi 3A price and availability

About Xiaomi Redmi 3A release date and price, no word has been made yet. However, since the machine has already appeared on a benchmark like this, we guess the official Xiaomi Redmi 3A launch will happen some time in Q2 or at least at the beginning of Q3. In terms of price, many sources have suggested that it will cost around $92. Wow, if so, Xiaomi Redmi 3A is really a fantastic budget smartphone in the house. Do you agree?

Huawei P9 vs Xiaomi Mi5 Pro: 4GB RAM, 128GB ROM battle

Xiaomi Mi5 Pro and Huawei P9 (4GB RAM version) are the latest flagships of their companies, which are also two of the biggest smartphone manufacturers in China. However, if you want us to pick out the best model, it will be…

Huawei P9 vs Xiaomi Mi5 Pro

Huawei or Xiaomi?

They’re flagships of their own companies, so no doubt they are equipped with gorgeous designs and high-end hardware. In today’s comparison, we would like to skip the appearance battle and look at their excellent specifications closely. First of all, let’s see what Xiaomi Mi5 Pro specs and Huawei P9 specs have in common. They’ve got very similar Full HD displays (though, in fact the P9’s is a bit bigger than the other’s – 5.2 inches and 5.15 inches, respectively), 4GB RAM, 3,000mAh batteries, dual SIMs, fingerprint scanners, USB Type C ports, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS (with different UIs on top – MIUI 7.0 and Emotion UI 4.1).

As for differences, there are some major points you need to note. The P9 is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 955 (quad-core 2.5GHz + quad-core 1.8GHz) chip, 64GB ROM (expandable up to 128GB), a dual 12MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing snapper. Meanwhile, the Mi5 Pro packs a Snapdragon 820 (dual-core 2.15GHz + dual-core 1.6GHz) processor, 128GB ROM (non-expandable), a combo of 16MP main plus 4MP selfie shooter, and Quick Charge 3.0 (83% in 30 minutes) which can help the machine get back on track much faster than its rival.

Huawei P9 vs Xiaomi Mi5 Pro

By looking at the above features, we think Huawei P9 has more advantages than the Xiaomi’s product when it comes to chipset, ROM capacity, primary cam, and maybe selfies. Therefore, we would like to vote Huawei P9 the winner. How about you?

Huawei P9 vs Xiaomi Mi5: Price and availability

At Xiaomi Mi5 launch, the Xiaomi Mi5 Pro price was announced to be 2,699 Yuan or $415. That is actually a pretty cost for such a strong device. On the other hand, Huawei P9 price for the 4GB RAM is about $740, kind of much higher than the Mi. Well, at this point, we have to admit that Xiaomi Mi5 Pro can be better for most consumers, especially those who want a smartphone with affordable price, beautiful design and powerful hardware. What do you think?

Xiaomi Mi5s coming to compete with Samsung edge phones

In some previous posts, we have mentioned that more curved-display devices will be coming this year. And the Xiaomi Mi5s below can be one of them…

xiaomi mi5s

Xiaomi Mi5s to come with curved display, 3D Touch, dual camera and…

Many pieces of news have informed us that Samsung will no longer be the only company to produce edge smartphones in 2016. Many Chinese firms will join the race and we also expect one from Xiaomi. According to some sources, the flagship Mi5 will have a new variant called Xiaomi Mi5s. Design-wise, according to MochaRQ,  an insider, the Mi5s will probably carry a curved display, but not on both sides. It can be more like Samsung Galaxy Note edge.

Besides that, the upcoming handset has also been claimed to sport a slightly different screen size compared to the original Xiaomi Mi5, perhaps 5.5 inches. Additionally, Xiaomi Mi5s specs will include some new features such as 3D Touch, Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor and a dual-lens camera. Those specifications will surely bring users better experience, but we also hope to see some more advanced things like Quad HD resolution, 6GB RAM, and big battery.

xiaomi mi5s

So, they are the main points about Xiaomi Mi5s we’ve spotted recently. Though, the manufacturer has not confirmed anything yet. However, we assume that Xiaomi won’t miss a chance to impress people in general and their fans in particular. Do you agree?

Xiaomi Mi5s price and availability

Apart from Xiaomi Mi5s appearance and hardware, the source also gave us a hint on Xiaomi Mi5s release date. It can be some time in August, which means maybe the machine will compete directly with an Apple iPhone, or a Samsung Galaxy model (the Note), or both. In terms of Xiaomi Mi5s price, there is no word made for that, yet $400 can be an ideal tag. Do you agree?

Xiaomi launched their own Transformer Mi Pad

Well, we just heard about Samsung’s foldable smartphone which is a pretty impressive idea. And now, it may be Xiaomi’s turn to show you something unique as well: Xiaomi Mi Pad transformer!

xiaomi mi pad

Xiaomi Mi Pad transformer – From Mi Pad to Decepticon and vice versa

Back to the time when Hasbro – a global company “committed to Creating the World’s Best Play Experiences”, created the Transformers franchise, it was, and still is, so famous as well as loved by a lot of people. Maybe that has inspired Xiaomi and then they decided to work with Hasbro to produce Xiaomi Mi Pad transformer, or Mi Pad Decepticon to be more specific. On the other hand, we assume it is a special idea the firm dedicates to their consumers to celebrate its 6th birthday on April 6, 2016.

Some teasers and live pictures have also been posted on the internet, showing a “Transformers Special Edition” toy able to convert from a Xiaomi’s 9.7 tablet to a gold robot warrior. That is claimed to be a toy for now, but hopefully Xiaomi and their partner can come up with a real tablet owning such an amazing capability. What do you think?

Looking at the pics, we have a feeling that Xiaomi will totally be able to draw much attention from their fans and many others. So, the next questions are that when the toy will be available and how much it can cost. Check out the part below for more information.

Xiaomi Mi Pad transformer price and availability

At the moment, it is said that the project will be financed via crowdfunding and ship to backers on May 13, 2016. As for the price, you will just have to pay 169 Yuan or about $26 to purchase one Mi Pad Decepticon. Hope that the company will also release an Autobot model in the near future. Let’s wait and see!

It is time to review what Xiaomi smartphones have been launched since the beginning of 2016. They are all equipped with good hardware and prices…

1. January: Xiaomi Redmi 3

Xiaomi Redmi 3 was launched and available for sale in January. Design-wise, the handset sports an all-metal body and a textured rear panel like what you can see in the picture, like “the stars in the night sky.”  And there are 4 color options for you to choose: Gold, Dark Gray, Silver, and Classic Gold. Which one do you like most?

As for Xiaomi Redmi 3 specs, it boasts 2GB RAM with 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB), an octa-core Snapdragon 616 processor, a dual SIM, and MIUI 7.0 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. Xiaomi also equips this budget flagship with a decent pair of cameras: 13MP on the back and 5MP on the front. Though, the most significant thing about the Redmi 3 is its gorgeous 4,100mAh battery for 3 days of using without charging. Cool, rite?!

Xiaomi Mi5 specs fully revealed on GFXBench, release date

February is like a month of flagships. We heard a lot about Samsung Galaxy S7, LG G5 and HTC One M10. Now, it is Xiaomi Mi5’s turn! Its specifications have been posted on GFXBench…

xiaomi-mi-5-benchmark-1

Xiaomi Mi5 specs: No more questions or doubts

Previously, we always knew that Xiaomi Mi5 would sport the new, powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip, 4GB of RAM, 32/64GB of internal storage, and a 16MP main camera. But, yes, that was before. Everything can change as time passes by, right?! Now, all of Xiaomi Mi5 specs have appeared on GFXBench and we are also a bit eager to look at it to see if there are any differences!

Accordingly, luckily Xiaomi Mi5 will still be equipped with a Snapdragon 820 paired with Adreno 530 GPU and a big 5.7-inch screen, yet supporting Full HD resolution, not the Quad HD we were always dreaming about. Even 4GB RAM will not be on board but 3GB RAM and there will only one option for the ROM capacity: 64GB. However, Android 6.0 Marshmallow is surely to run the handset, which makes us not so disappointed about the coming Xiaomi flagship.

xiaomi-mi-5-benchmark-2

Well, no words have been made for the cam, so there is still chance for the 16MP shooter. In general, those are excellent features for a smartphone; nonetheless, we have to admit that we were expecting more than them. Though, some sources said that there would be 2 versions of Mi5: Full HD + 3GB RAM and 2K + 4GB RAM. If so, the one on GFXBench is the first ver and the second will come later.

Xiaomi Mi5 price and availability

Again, we would like to remind you that Xiaomi Mi5 launch is getting closer, on February 24, 2016 to be specific. According to many sources, Xiaomi Mi5 price will be $440, but we guess it is for the high-end variant. For the Mi5 we know today, it may cost around $350. Do you agree? Share with us your opinions.

Xiaomi Redmi 3: 2GB RAM, 13MP and 4000 mAH for under USD 100

Xiaomi has a great way to welcome 2016: they are going to launch the budget smartphone Redmi 3 – the successor of Redmi 2. This latest smartphone by the Chinese company has been spotted with very nice specs and…

Xiaomi Redmi 3

Xiaomi Redmi 3: budget beast of 2016 with 4,000 mAH

Xiaomi is famous for their cheap but good quality smartphones launched to the market in the recent years. Seems like they are not planning to stop this reputation any time soon. For now, rumors are already talking about a brand new handset named Xiaomi Redmi 3, that costs an unbelievably cheap price: USD 92. This is equivalent to Xiaomi Redmi 3 price in Philippines at PHP 4,500 and Xiaomi Redmi 3 price in India at Rs 6,200. Excited already?

In terms of Xiaomi Redmi 3 specs, we have 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage, an octa-core processor with Snapdragon 617 chip set. Xiaomi also gives this budget flagship a beautiful pair of camera: 13MP on the back and 5MP on the front. Xiaomi Redmi 3 is also a 4G competent smartphone. What is significant about the device is that, Redmi 3 battery features a huge 4,000 mAH battery. With this capacity, you can go 3 days on normal use without charging.

gsmarena_001

A bit about Xiaomi Redmi 3 design, seems like we will have a full metal body with 5 inch display and a 8.5mm slim body. We haven’t heard any further about whether the handset will come with micro SD card slot or not, but very hopefully Xiaomi will surprise us this time, like they did earlier.

Xiaomi Redmi 3: competitive to shine out others

Though this is not finalized by Xiaomi yet, if the price really turns out to be USD 92, it will be such a great treat for us users in this new year. Who will refuse a 4,000 mAH beast with 13MP camera that only costs half the price of other smartphones at the same league.

Xiaomi Mi5 real images leaking: 2K display, 4GB RAM, 8MP selfie cam…

The new Xiaomi Mi5 smartphone will have a fingerprint sensor, but will it be placed on the back like Xiaomi Redmi Note 3? We are very short before the official Xiaomi Mi5 Launch and now you can check out our Xiaomi Mi5 Video ….

Amazing Xiaomi Mi5 specs and design: Winner of Design!

After releasing the super great Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 with powerful hardware and a very affordable price, Xiaomi is attracting a lot of people. Moreover, they believe the company’s next flagship Xiaomi Mi5 will also follow the same strategy: strong specifications and good prices. This time, maybe we can really see it as some reliable sources have claimed that Xiaomi Mi5 launch is going to occur on 21 January 2016. Just a few days left!

Lately, we have spotted some pictures as well as a video showing a real Xiaomi Mi5 on Youku (which is considered as “Chinese YouTube”). Accordingly, Xiaomi Mi5 design isn’t changed much, still coming with physical buttons whose positions are similar to Xiaomi Mi Note or Mi Note Pro. However, we have to mention its all-alloy unibody and physical home button, which looks pretty awesome in our opinion. Besides, you have 4 choices over the color: white, black, yellow and pink.

Basically, Home button usually carries a fingerprint sensor. Therefore, we are quite sure that Xiaomi will do the same and furthermore, they are likely to equip the Mi5 with ClearForce display tech, “providing customers with new dimensions in user interfaces such as speed scrolling, zoom, gaming, and text or photo editing by applying variable force with a finger or stylus.”

Xiaomi Mi5 price and availability

So, how much does a smartphone owning a 5.3-inch 2K screen, a Snapdragon 820 chip, 4GB RAM, a 16MP/8MP camera set, Android 6.0 OS and a 3,000mAh  as Xiaomi Mi5 cost? We hope the Xiaomi Mi5 Price will go with 2499 Yuan ($385) like what has been saying these days. Nonetheless, we have to wait for the firm’s confirmation. So what do you think about the Xiaomi Mi5? Watch the Video below!

The Redmi Note 2 Prime processor scored up to 54,000 points on the trusted Chinese Benchmark, which is really impressive for a smartphone in the price group of USD 150. To give you a better comparison, the Meizu MX5 only scored 49,000 points and Mate by Huawei scored 47,000 points.

Xiaomi Mi5 is a long-awaited flagship by our favorite Chinese producer. Though we have not know when it will be launched yet, more and more leaks about the phone are being spread, including some very interesting features…

Xiaomi Mi5

Xiaomi Mi5 Design Winner

At the moment there seems to be some discussion if Xiaomi is launching the Xiaomi Mi4S with MSM8996 chipset which is rumored to be the unreleased Snapdragon 820 in the November launch. Xiaomi Mi5 Design: From all the reliable leaks we have seen so far and also from Xiaomi’s announcement poster we know that the new Xiaomi is going to be very slim. Probably you will see very thin bezels combined with a beautiful and slender design on the new Xiaomi Flagship.

Screen Size: From the reports and pictures we know, the new Xiaomi Mi5 will have a screen of 5.2-inch QHD screen. Some rumors eve suggest that Xiaomi is going to use Sapphire Glass for their newest phone, making it even more exciting to wait. Processor: It seems to be clear that Xiaomi is staying with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Line for their newest Flagship. Xiaomi is still considering between the Snapdragon 810 and 820 for their Mi5. Obviously, it would be best if Xiaomi Mi5 will come with the latest Snapdragon 820

Xiaomi Mi5

Whatever chip set will be, Xiaomi Mi5 will likely feature 4GB of RAM. To make it even more competitive to other smartphones in the market, Xiaomi Mi5 cameras will sport very awesome sensors: 21MP on the back and a beautiful 8MP on the front. Also, there are some leaks that showed the machine going with a fingerprint sensor, but nothing is finalized yet about this part.

Nokia E1 VS Xiaomi Redmi Note 3

Nokia E1 VS Xiaomi Redmi Note 3: budget smartphones that we all love

First of all, since both of them are targeted in the lower-end price category, let me put their tags here initially. Nokia E1 price, though not finalized yet, is expected to be around $200 – $250. Its counterpart, the Redmi Note 3 by Xiaomi, is priced at $170, making both of them very competitive to other smartphones in our market. However, being affordable itself can not make Nokia E1 VS Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 successful mobile phones. It is the specs they offer for such prices that made the differences.

At $200, Nokia E1 comes with 2GB of RAM, a handy 5.0 inch display, and 20MP camera with signature Pureview sensor we all love and 2,800 mAH battery. At $170, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 sports a 5.5” display, 3GB of RAM, 13MP and 4000 mAH battery. Nokia E1 is an expecting smartphone to be introduced at Nokia comeback 2016. nokia-1100-3

If you put both mobiles together, Nokia E1 VS Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, there are some significant differences. Specs-wise, we can see that Redmi Note 3 is a bit stronger in RAM and battery. However, the fact that Nokia E1 has a much better camera sensor, and that it is Nokia – made itself is already a huge advantage for E1

Nokia E1 VS Xiaomi Redmi Note 3: surprisingly affordable

Among various choices we have now in the smartphone market, Nokia E1 VS Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 are obviously 2 of the most popular options everyone can consider. Not only do they impress users at first sight with catchy designs, but they also stand out with very bold specs compared to their surprisingly affordable prices: both from USD 250 and below!
