Anyone of us has been in this situation at least once, we bet: having a group of people watching a fun video clip on ONE TINY smartphone screen. Of course we know with laptop and a projector or a smart internet TV, it can be easy. However, those are not only expensive, but also quite bulky and complicated to start the fun.

With a tiny budget of $3 (less than PHP 150), this brilliant MacGyvered DIY version of smartphone projector could change the way to experience your smartphone forever.

Keep scrolling for the steps behind to make your own.

What you need: A cardboard box, duct tape, a magnifying glass, a paper clip, an X-Acto or Stanley knife, and your smartphone (it doesn’t need to be an expensive Samsung Galaxy Note 5 for this trick though).

1

Step 1: Have the magnifying glass  measured on one end of the box

2

Step 2: Cut out the exact whole marked before

3

Step 3: Set the magnifying glass in the hole and stick it with duct tape. Now you can guess how your projector will work when done 😉 keep scrolling down for the fun

4

Step 4: Make hole in the back of the box to connect with your charger

5

Step 5: Use a pair of pliers to form a stand for your phone from a paperclip.

6

Here is how the whole thing work. You never thought it could be this simple:

– The magnifying glass will turn the image on your phone upside down. You can either download an app that help rotate the screen or turn the whole box upside down :))

– Turn your display brightness to the highest level (this will eat out battery faster, thats why we need the hole for the charger above)

7

– Put your babe in the box and adjust it to lay in the focus point of the glass

8

Now it’s time for the fun!!! Close the box and show to the blank wall.
