Top 7 Huawei smartphones for May: 4GB RAM, 4000mAh battery

More than 4 months of 2016 have passed and many Huawei smartphones have been launched. Check out what they are and tell us your most favorite one!

1. Huawei Honor 5c

The handset was announced last month but will be going on sale this month. Spec-wise, it boasts a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS LCD display, a dual SIM, a pretty good combo of 13MP rear (supporting f/2.0, autofocus, plus LED flash) + 8MP f/2.0 front shooter, and a fingerprint scanner.

Under the hood, we have Emotion UI 4.1 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, a Kirin 650 (quad-core 2.0GHz + quad-core 1.7GHz) processor, 16GB ROM (expandable up to 128GB) paired with 2GB RAM, and a 3,000mAh battery on board to help power the entire device. As for Huawei Honor 5c price, you need to note that its 3G variant costs 899 Yuan (around $139) while the 4G one costs 100 Yuan more, which is 999 Yuan ($153).

2 + 3. Huawei P9 and P9 Plus

This is one of the most anticipated flagship duos of Huawei. They debuted last month and have been receiving positive feedback from users. Talking about Huawei P9 specs, as you may know, it comes with a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS LCD screen, an 8MP selfie snapper, a 3,000mAh batt, a Kirin 955 octa-core (4-core 2.5GHz + 4-core 1.8GHz) chip set, 3/4GB RAM, and 32/64GB ROM (expandable up to 128GB). Furthermore, the most important selling key of Huawei P9 actually lies at its dual camera setup co-developed with Leica. There are two 12MP sensors on the back, “one capturing color, the other seeing only black and white”. In terms of Huawei P9 Plus specs, there are not many differences, except for its display measuring 5.5 inches with an AMOLED panel, Full HD resolution, Press Touch (like 3D Touch tech), and a 3,4000mAh cell supported by dual-IC Rapid Charge. Besides, the handset just offers one choice with 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM.

4. Huawei P9 Lite

Huawei P9 Lite is considered as the lowest-end model in the P9 series. It packs a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS LCD screen, a Kirin 650 processor, 4G LTE network, a fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port, 16GB ROM (expandable up to 128GB), and 2/3GB RAM. In addition to Huawei P9 Lite specs, there are a 3,000mAh battery, Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with EMUI 4.1 on top, and a set of 13MP primary + 8MP secondary shooter on board to help run the phone.

5 + 6. Huawei Y3II and Y5II

Next, we have another smartphone duo: Huawei Y3II and Y5II. Though, they are at entry level and must be super affordable even if the firm has not officially claimed Huawei Y3II and Y5II prices. Spec-wise, Huawei Y5II owns a handy 5.0-inch HD screen, a dual SIM, Emotion UI 3.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, Mediatek MT6735P (for 4G model) or Mediatek MT6582 (for 3G), a removable  2,200mAh batt, 8GB ROM (+ 32GB), and 1GB RAM. About photography, you can use either its 8MP primary or 2MP selfie cam to take pictures. And there are LED flashes on both surfaces to capture things better in low-light conditions.

In terms of Huawei Y3II specs, it sports a handier display (4.5 inches with 480 x 854 pixels), a Mediatek MT6735M (for 4G model) or Mediatek MT6582M (f0r 3G), a 5MP main snapper, Emotion UI 3.1 Lite, and a removable 2,100mAh cell. For the rest, they are similar to the Y5II, but please note that the Y3II only has LED flash on the rear.

7. Huawei Honor Holly 2 Plus

It is a pretty long name, huh?! Anyway, Huawei Honor Holly 2 Plus specs are decent to perform most tasks well. Specifically, it sports a handy 5.0-inch HD display, a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P chip, 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32GB) paired with 2GB RAM. Additionally, there are Emotion UI based on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, a big 4,000mAh battery enabling the phone to last about 3 days with just one charge, and a set of 13MP rear plus 5MP front-facing camera on board to run the whole machine.
