Top Non-Chinese smartphones for May: 4GB RAM, 20MP camera

Chinese smartphones are developing real fast, but of course other non-Chinese handsets are also doing well. Check out the following new models from big brands outside of China now!

1 + 2. BlackBerry Hamburg and Rome

After BlackBerry Priv, things seem much better for the company. Perhaps that is why they have said goodbye to BlackBerry OS and decided to continue with more Android smartphones. Specifically, according to the latest news, there will be two BlackBerry devices coming in late 2016 coded as Hamburg and Rome, and they both will run on Android OS.

As for the first phone, its leaked picture from BerryLink has been spotted recently, showing a full-size touchscreen yet no physical keyboard usually seen on BlackBerry phones. Though, some others think that it may be hidden under the screen like the Priv. Despite no words made for BlackBerry Hamburg specs, it is said to cost less than $400, so we wonder whether it’s a mid-ranger or a flagship. In terms of BlackBerry Rome, it does show up with a physical keyboard and look pretty similar to BlackBerry Passport but more rectangular. Like its sibling, BlackBerry Rome specs have not been unveiled yet. Hopefully more information about them will come this month!

3. Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016)

Like many other members of the Samsung Galaxy J series, Galaxy J2 will also have a 2016 version equipped with enhanced features. 4. Nextbit Robin

This is a pretty cool smartphone, for it allows everything on the machine to be backed up in the cloud, including multimedia, apps, and data. Once it recognizes that there are some things you no longer use, it will delete them all to save space, but you can always find them – the erased ones – in the cloud. Other Nextbit Robin specs include a 5.2-inch IPS Full HD screen, a Snapdragon 808 chip, 3GB RAM, a USB Type-C port, fast charging tech for its 2,680mAh battery, 4G LTE support, and a 13MP + 5MP shooter set. About Nextbit Robin price, you can purchase it with just $299 on Amazon from May 4 till May 10, 2016. However, after that, you will have to buy it with the original cost set at $399.

5. Sony Xperia C6 Ultra

Obviously, it is the direct successor to Sony Xperia C5 Ultra, launched last year. Recently, @Onleaks has shown people a video starring the Xperia C6 Ultra (aka Xperia C6). In terms of Sony Xperia C6 Ultra specs, they are predicted to contain a MediaTek Helio P10 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM, a 6-inch Full HD screen, and a fantastic package of 20MP main and 16MP secondary snapper. Wow, the shots will be awesome, we can tell!

6. LG Stylo 2

LG Stylo 2 is a new machine coming with a digital pen that helps “navigate around, doodle with or use to jot notes.” Some LG Stylo 2 specs are a 5.7-inch HD display, a Snapdragon 410 quad-core 1.2GHz chipset, Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, 16GB of ROM (expandbale up to 128GB), 2GB of RAM, and a removable 3,000mAh cell. What do you think about it?

7. Samsung Galaxy C5

Last but not least, we have Samsung Galaxy C5. Some leaked images of the phone have been spotted, showing a machine with a metallic body. For Samsung Galaxy C5 specs, it will probably be powered by a Snapdragon 617 chip paired with Adreno 405 GPU, a 5.2-inch display, 4GB RAM, and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. For the rest, maybe we have to wait a bit more from the manufacturer.
