Recently, our sources reported that Vivo is holding an event in Shanghai, China on June 12. In details, there were promo materials sent out by the company; which clearly depict a Vivo APEX look-alike with the pop-up selfie cam. Apparently, this news is real since the company just revealed a poster online, showing the outline of a phone and a pop-up front-facing lens. As seen in the promo pic, this design will allow the phone to have an all display without a notch or unnecessary bezels.

Moreover, we believe the model will come in three variants: two powered by the Snapdragon 710, one with the SnD 845. They include the Vivo NEX, NEX S and NEX A. Unfortunately, it only certified that they support fast 5V/2A, 9V/2A and 10V/2.25A charging over USB-C. On top of that, the NEX S has now surfaced on the database of benchmark website GeekBench with Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chip.

We have not known yet whether the NEX or NEX A will get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. In terms of the display, the Vivo NEX specs include a 5.99-inch OLED screen with Full HD+ resolution. Moreover, there is a display fingerprint sensor for security. Also, the device might take power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM (expandable up to 256GB). On top of that, Vivo NEX camera equips with an 8MP pop-up selfie lens while the rear sensor features a dual 24MP snapper. Besides that, this phone runs on Android Oreo and rocks a non-removable 4000mAh juice box.

Vivo NEX release date and price

The Chinese brand might debut this device on June 12th, 2018. As for the cost, the Vivo NEX price starts at $1, 091 ~ Rs. 73, 992 for the premium edition, and $779 ~ Rs. 52, 832 for the standard edition. Share your ideas about the upcoming Vivi handset.
