This week, the Chinese brand shares its plan to launch the next device in its midrange Y-series. Notably, the new phone has the name Vivo Y500 Pro. Moreover, it arrives with a striking design and high-end features. Firstly, the new Vivo phone comes in different color options: Light Green, Titanium Black, Soft Pink, and Auspicious Cloud. Besides, it has an IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.

Regarding the display, the Vivo Y500 Pro specs include a 6.67-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K (1080 x 2392 pixels) resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the Vivo device runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset. How about the memory and storage? It offers 12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage.

Furthermore, the new Vivo Y500 Pro runs on the Android 15 operating system with Funtouch OS 15 on top. The Chinese brand also promises up to four years of major OS updates and six years of security updates. Additionally, the Vivo Y500 Pro camera features a dual lens setup on the back. We spot a 200MP primary lens and a 2MP depth sensor. Up front, the Vivo phone has a 32MP front-facing sensor. On the other hand, the Vivo handset debuts with a large 7000mAh battery. It also supports 90W wired fast charging. There is also an in-display optical fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. Lastly, other connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB Type-C port.
