According to our sources, the Chinese brand is getting ready to launch various Vivo handsets in the upcoming month. In detail, we have come across reports about the new Vivo S17 series. Furthermore, one new mid-range Vivo phone dubbed Vivo Y78+ also visited the Geekbench website this last day, showing off some of its key specs. After that, it appeared on the Google Play Supported Devices list, hinting at a close release date.

The new Vivo Y78+ scored 670 for single and 1976 for multi-core performances. Based on the listing, it takes power from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 SoC with A78 cores and Adreno 619 GPU. Moreover, the Vivo phone now carries a 4900 mAh battery with a 44W charging speed. Regarding the display, Vivo Y78+ specs include a 6.64 inches IPS LCD with Full HD+ resolution. It also runs on the new Android 13 operating system.

In terms of storage, the Vivo handset can offer up to 12GB RAM and 128GB ROM. There is no mention of a microSD card slot. As for the Vivo Y78+ camera, it sports triple 50 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP sensors on the rear. The device also has a single 32MP lens as the selfie camera. On the other hand, the Chinese brand is working on two important releases: Vivo T2x and the Vivo V17 series, including three models. We spot the lower Vivo S17e, standard Vivo S17, and a Pro version. Notably, their processor is going to be different: Dimensity 8200, Snapdragon 778G, and a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.

We expect Vivo to launch this handset during June for many markets, including India. As for the price, the Vivo Y78+ price can start at Rs. 29,990 ~ $474.
