A huge capacity can enable a handset to work smoothly for many hours, even days; while a smaller one will limit the using time. And as 2016 arrived, we are receiving a great news from MIT University: a group of researchers at the university are working on self-charging battery, which, in order words, means, an unlimited battery life.<\/p>\n<p>The idea of this self charging battery is really amazing. You need to produce electrical energy not by using another source of power but by creating mechanical energy through movements. For example, when you go jogging, your movements will create a source of mechanical energy that can be used to charge this self-charging battery. Such technology, when successfully finalized, can be used to charge wearable products like smartphones and smartwatches.<\/p>\n<h3>Self charging battery: the future is he in our hands<\/h3>\n<p>Right now, the best result our researchers are getting is 15% battery capacity on a gadget. They hope to develop it to 100% soon in the future, so that we can use our mobile devices without worrying about battery and all the inconvenience of the charging process any more.
