However, even after the official announcement two days ago, a lot of people still cant&#8217;t accept the radical decision from Apple. There have been conflicting opinions regarding the change, and most of them were rather negative. It is due to the fact that many\u00a0users had already invested in their headphone and stereo equipment.<\/p>\n<p>However, the reasons behind the Apple headset jack removal weren&#8217;t for the purpose of raising controversy. They were rather more technical. Firstly, it all began with the improvements made to iPhone 7 camera. That resulted in the interior phone hardware needing some rearrangements and more space. They could also make other improvements such as increasing battery capacity and integrating smartphone water-resistance feature! Specifically, the iPhone 7 battery is currently 14% larger than the battery inside iPhone 6s, while the iPhone 7 Plus has 5% more of battery compared to the old Plus model. The new iPhone can now hold up for 30 minutes under 1 meter water.<\/p>\n<h3>Apple is a trendsetter with the headset jack removal<\/h3>\n<p>The Apple headset removal met with many objections, mainly because many users\u00a0had already invested in their headphone and stereo equipments, which won&#8217;t be compatible with the new iPhone. Additional reason for negative feedback is the fact that the wireless AirPods of Apple are sold separately, and they are quite are expensive (159USD). Luckily, Apple knows about the difficulties, and is putting a 3.5mm adapter along each new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.
