Now, everyone is looking forward the new iPhone coming next year. Apparently, Apple is working on 3D camera for the new iPhone!<\/strong><\/p><div style=\"float: none; display: block; margin: 0 -10px; text-align: center;\"><!-- ph_pricepony_article_top_desktop -->\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\n     style=\"display:inline-block;width:728px;height:90px\"\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4796993490224996\"\n     data-ad-slot=\"8052937650\"><\/ins>\n<script>\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script>\n<\/div><\/p>\n<p><picture><source srcset=\"https:\/\/www.pricepony.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/dual-cameras-e1480273238328.webp \"  type=\"image\/webp\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.pricepony.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/dual-cameras-e1480273238328.png\" height=\"250\" width=\"445\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-33158 sp-no-webp\" alt=\"3d camera\" decoding=\"async\"  > <\/picture><\/p>\n<h3>Apple to work with LG on 3D camera!<\/h3>\n<p>Recently, sources from Korea has stated that Apple is working closely with LG on a new dual camera setup that can capture 3D effects on photos, which will be implemented on the new iPhone next year. 2017 will be the 10-year anniversary of the iPhone, so this new feature would be a special addition to the new iPhone. Not much details are revealed, but apparently, the &#8220;LG Innotek&#8221; camera, with dual-lens, will be available on the new iPhone in the latter half of 2017.<\/p>\n<p>The said reports also mentioned LinX Imaging, the technology company that Apple bought over last year. After the acquisition, Apple has owned LinX&#8217;s enhanced camera technology, which allows 3D depth mapping and lighting enhancements. We have seen these features in action before, in the new Portrait Mode of the iPhone 7 Plus camera. These features may be carried over to the new iPhone, with some big enhancements. We know that Apple does own patents for face and biometric recognition, and the company also has other patents on advanced images analysis technology such as object recognition. However, they are all software based. Apple is also said to have been working on implementing augmented reality functions into the iPhone&#8217;s camera app. Most likely it will be for the new iPhone. However, we still don&#8217;t know if older generations of iPhones will be compatible with this.<\/p>\n<h3>3D camera on iPhone: A nice improvement!<\/h3>\n<p>With 2017 being the 10-year anniversary of iPhone, the new 3D camera on the new iPhone would be a great feature. This recent news about the upcoming iPhone is really making us anticipate the new models of iPhone even more.
