This time, it is to announce that a new update for the game is coming. It will be called the &#8220;Foundation update&#8221;. It is named so because this update will include the addition of &#8220;the foundations of base building&#8221;, as the studio said. This update will also serve to make a foundation in place for the upcoming new things to come.<\/p>\n<p>The game No Man&#8217;s Sky has been the result of five years of intense development. Right after the release of the game, the development team spent six weeks straight updating the game, with seven patches across platforms. The last patch was on September 24. Those updates have more or less fixed the critical bugs that have plagued the game since release. Since then, the studio shared that they have spent the next nine weeks developing, testing and certifying the coming Foundation update. There have been &#8220;intense and dramatic&#8221; discussions about the game, as well as how to improve them. Hello Games as stated that all the feedback has been considered, and will certainly help to make the game better for everyone. The studio also hoped that players will stick together with them on the &#8220;long journey&#8221; ahead.<\/p>\n<h3>No Man&#8217;s Sky update: Is it too late?<\/h3>\n<p>We have recently known that No Man&#8217;s Sky&#8217;s failure has lead to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pricepony.com.ph\/blog\/game-awards-focus-depth\/\">drastic change in the Game Awards<\/a>. Although an update is necessary, it may come a little late. Hopefully, the game can pick up again after this important update!
