But be careful: the latest iOS update looks quite harmless. In truth it can turn out really badly; in the worst case, it can come to total data loss. Even Apple itself recommends a back up before updating your Apple device.<\/p>\n<p>Besides the introduction of iOS 10.3, which is expected in March, Apple will also replace the old file system Hierarchical File System Plus (HFS +), which has been used since 1998, by\u00a0the\u00a0in-house Apple File System APFS. No matter how stable APFS will be, before installing the iOS 10.3 update, you should make a complete back up of your iOS device.
