It will make it harder for anyone to open your phone and access your personal files. Just choose the method you want from the Screen Lock options inside the Security part of Settings. Remember to not use short or easy-to-guess passwords. Newer phones also offer biometric ways to unlock, such as fingerprint or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pricepony.com.ph\/blog\/best-phones-with-iris-scanner-snapdragon-820-4gb-ram-and-more\/\" target=\"_blank\">iris scanner<\/a>, and they are even more safe, so you can also use that.<\/p>\n<p>You should also link your phone with your Google account, to have device tracking, automatic backups, and protect your data in case of resetting your phone. Remember to make a strong password for your Google account, as well as enabling 2-factor authentication. Tying to your Google account is the Android Device Manager feature, which can be used to track your phone in case you lost it. You can also lock your phone from afar, or wipe all data on that phone completely, to make sure your data is safe.
