After starting, this app begins to collect and send information from your smartphone to a server in Singapore in every 6 hours. You can check whether this app is present on your device by going to Settings &#8211; Apps &#8211; Show Systems Apps and searching for BugReportLite in the list.<\/p>\n<p>By default, this app should collect battery statistics. However, this app also has an option to collect media files and data. On the other hand, there are some other disagreement on this issue. Other knowledgeable Redditors state that <em>OnePlus &#8220;is still sending logs without your permission to a server in Singapore&#8221;<\/em> simply is not accurate. However, we are expecting that they will take action soon. Previously, a smartphone user also has accused OnePlus of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.digit.in\/mobile-phones\/oneplus-found-collecting-sensitive-data-like-imei-numbers-serial-number-on-its-smartphones-37506.html\">collecting data from users through a different app called \u201cOnePlus System Service\u201d<\/a>. However, this app cannot be turned off because it is a part of the system. This accusation will harmfully affect OnePlus reputation and make customers waver when buying their phones.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Is OnePlus the ONLY company collecting users&#8217; data without permission?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The fact is that OnePlus is not the only firm that collects data from users. In the time of security and sensitive information, we need to make sure our smartphones security. Moreover, a transparent understanding of what information is being collected and for what purpose is important for all of us.
