However, this facial unlocking mode may be coming to its \u201colder\u201d sibling, the OnePlus 5 as well. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xda-developers.com\/\">XDA Developers<\/a> has pointed out that Android Oreo beta for the OnePlus 5 device includes the Face Unlock option. Notably, it is still unclear if all OnePlus 5 owners are going to receive this update. Regarding OnePlus&#8217;s Face Unlock option, it is a bit different to Apple or Samsung&#8217;s face recognition mode.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of using a dedicated face sensor, OnePlus handset just depends on its camera system, specifically the selfie shooter. Additionally, the OnePlus company has stated that they collected over 100 unique identifiers to identify who is looking at it precisely. How does it work? The Face Unlock does the trick by analyzing over 100 identifiers on your face such as the distance between your eyes or between your nose and upper lip. For smartphone users, OnePlus 5T is undoubtedly a better option. Regarding the display, OnePlus 5T specs feature a 6.01-inch a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. On the other hand, OnePlus 5T uses the chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 with 6GB\/8GB RAM. Moreover, this OnePlus flagship provides two options of 64GB and 128GB (non-expandable). For OnePlus 5T battery, the device sports a 3300 mAh capacity. Speaking of the photography, this OnePlus phone comes with Dual: 16 MP (f\/1.7) + 20 MP, (f\/1.7) rear snapper and 16 MP (f\/2.0) front-facing shooter.<\/p>\n<h3>OnePlus 5 Face Unlock: coming soon?<\/h3>\n<p>For now, there is no official announcement about the OnePlus 5 Face Unlock feature. We will keep you update on this feature as soon as possible. For OnePlus fans, the OnePlus 5T release date was on the 21st of November.
