They place a high emphasis on being unique, on growing their identity through culturally rich experiences and exploration of the unknown. Both of which travel fulfils the role perfectly. This also means millennial travel experiences aren\u2019t the same as they used to be. But rather involve in more adventure and the desire for more customisation. Millennials have long garnered a reputation as the tech-savvy and economy driven generation. They push boundaries, they map out their own itineraries and prioritise staying in local neighbourhoods rather than fancy and expensive hotels.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from representing one of the most profitable segments of the travel market, millennials also have a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/travel\/roadwarriorvoices\/2017\/03\/08\/millennial-travelers\/98864474\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">strong desire to plan trips on a budget<\/a>. And interestingly, this Generation Y is more likely to look to their peers for inspiration, who are off seeing the world. In fact, the marketing ads that have successfully influenced their travel decisions somewhat rely on inspirational social media influencers. In short: Work and play now go hand-in-hand. Our humanity needs to travel and explore, especially the young generation. They have the technological tools and skills to make travel the most accessible and comfortable than ever before. As a result, travel companies have reinvented their brand image and perks to cater to millennials craving authentic local experiences.<\/p>\n<h3>The Bottom Line of Millennial travellers<\/h3>\n<p>This generation gets stereotyped a lot with both positive and negative traits. But the most valuable of all characteristics that stand out is authenticity.
