Previously, Xiaomi has dominated the Indian smartphone world with the release of many mid-range Mi handsets. In the second quarter, the Chinese brand continues its winning streak with a total of 30.4% market share. Surprisingly, Samsung has managed to climb back to the top position this time with a whopping 30.2%, slightly edging Xiaomi for the first place.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, another market watcher <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pricepony.com.ph\/blog\/?s=Counterpoint+\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Counterpoint<\/a> also unveiled their report with some interesting data. According to Counterpoint, Samsung has surpassed Xiaomi in the race for the number one position in India\u2019s smartphone market Q2. In details, the Korean company took the first place with 29%. Quite a contradiction to Canalys&#8217;s report. Meanwhile, Xiaomi came second with only 28%. In details, the Korean manufacturer introduced various handsets under the name Galaxy A and J last months. Moreover, these Galaxy smartphones offer flagship-grade features at affordable prices. As a result, many Indian tech fans have switched to choosing Samsung phones, instead of other Chinese mid-range handsets.<\/p>\n<h3>Who will rule India smartphone market in Q3 2018?<\/h3>\n<p>Until now, Samsung has announced the launch of their mid-range series Galaxy A6 duo for India market.
