This week, the Chinese company has unveiled its next big release. In detail, the premium Xiaomi 17 lineup has arrived on the market with many crazy updates. Firstly, the new family carries three models: Xiaomi 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max. On the other hand, they are also the first smartphones to carry the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Furthermore, the new Xiaomi 17 Pro duo now has a unique feature: a  “Magic Back Screen” on the back panel.

This new mini display will showcase the notifications and support custom themes. Additionally, we also spot a rectangular camera module with rounded edges in the top-left corner. These new upgrades remind us of the iPhone 17 series. Today, let’s get to know more about these phones! First of all, about the display, Xiaomi 17 specs flaunt a 6.3-inch LTPO AMOLED with 1220 x 2656 pixels and Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass. The Xiaomi 17 Pro also carries the same design. Moreover, Xiaomi 17 Pro Max specs feature a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED and a 2.7-inch secondary screen.

Under the hood, the Xiaomi smartphones are coming with Android 16, HyperOS 3. Moreover, they ship with different storage versions: 12GB/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB ROM (no card slot). The Xiaomi 17 cameras pack a triple lens at the back setup. It consists of a 50MP primary sensor + 50MP ultra-wide snapper + 50MP telephoto shooter on the back. Around the front is a single 50MP lens for taking selfies and video calling. All three Xiaomi models share the same photography system. Battery-wise, the Xiaomi 17 houses a 7000mAh juice box, while the Pro model has a 6300mAh capacity. Lastly, the Pro Max handset offers a 7500mAh juice box.
