Xiaomi is working on a Black Shark 2 gaming phone with the new liquid cooling technology named Liquid Cool 3.0. This device is the third Black Shark-branded smartphone. Recently, the Black Shark 2 has appeared on Geekbench as “Blackshark AAA”. As per the listing, the Black Shark 2 achieved a score of 3, 516 in a single-core test, and 11, 413 in multi-core test. On the other hand, Black Shark 2 comes running on the latest Android 9.0 Pie as the operating system.

Unlike these two siblings which packed Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, Black Shark 2 gets power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 flagship platform. Besides that, speaking of the storage, Black Shark 2 sports a whopping 12GB of RAM and 128GB/ 256GB ROM.  Keeping the light on is a decent 4000mAh juice box. Moreover, the 3C certification of the Black Shark 2 had unveiled that this phone can carry support for 27W fast charging like the Xiaomi Mi 9 flagship smartphone.

 

Besides that, imaging-wise, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 camera is going to feature a vertical dual camera system at the top-left corner on its back. Additionally, the Black Shark 2 also comes with the identical design language as the previous devices.

For now, there is no word on the exact launch date of the Black Shark 2. The brand has officially started teasing the Black Shark 2, the launch could be just around the corner.
