From what we learned so far, the Mi Mix 2S is a step forward for the Mix series which puts a stronger focus on the overall camera experience. In details, the Xiaomi device has a brighter f/1.8 and larger 1.4-micron pixels on the camera. Meanwhile, Xiaomi manages to keep the phone’s cost below the entry-level iPhones despite its premium hardware. Furthermore, the camera department was very cost-effective, compared to previous Mix devices.

Since the Mi Mix 2S got an overall score of 97 with DxO Mark, we certainly have high expectations from this camera. Camera aside, the handset’s footprint is barely smaller than the Mi Mix 2 while comes thicker to accommodate a Qi wireless charging coil. Also, it is the first smartphone featuring a ceramic back. While Xiaomi handset sports the latest Qualcomm CPU, there are no signs of waterproof or headphone jack options, unfortunately.

As far as it concerns, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S specs include a 5.99″ OLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Furthermore, the device runs on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and Android Oreo 8.0. Meanwhile, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S sports massive 8GB RAM with 256GB ROM (no card slot). Besides, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S camera features a dual 12MP snapper on the back with an 8MP front-facing snapper. Concerning the energy box, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S battery has a non-removable 4400mAh capacity.
