The Chinese budget device Xiaomi Redmi 4A will be available in India soon. However, the first sale was put up online in the country and in only 4 minutes, Xiaomi Redmi 4A has sold about 250,000 units!

Now, we have another proof, that Xiaomi is a very popular smartphone brand in India! The Xiaomi Redmi 4A first sale seem to be quite successful if we look at the spectacular number of record sales: the company sold 250.000 phones within 4 minutes on both Amazon India and Mi.com! According to Amazon India, there were orders 1,500 per second and 5 million hits per minute on their webpage. The online store also said that it received over 1 million ‘notify me’ alerts from customers. A clear sign that Xiaomi is a trend in that country.

But why are Indian people so crazy about the Xiaomi Redmi 4A? Let’s check it out: The phone sports a 5-inch IPS LCD display with resolution of 720 pixels by 1080 pixels. Under the hood, it features a quad-core 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor and Adreno 308 GPU. Xiaomi Redmi 4A comes with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage which can be expanded up to 256GB.

 

In terms of optics, the phone packs a 13MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, autofocus and LED flash. On the front there is a snapper 5MP with f/2.2 aperture for nice selfies.
