Xiaomi  might have enjoyed the Q3 sale. It held the second position just behind one of his closest rival Lenovo. with more than 2 million smartphones sold in only India.

Xiaomi Hit the jackpot in Q3

Chinese smart devices and phones manufacturer Xiaomi said it has sold more than 2 million smartphones in the Q3. This is incredible, as the company is expecting to be the largest smartphones supplier in India in the next 5 years. More than 2 million smartphones sold from July to September is its record-breaking sales since its started operations in India. This boost in sales will also help the company to attribute its expansion in the offline and new online partners and investors.

According to the Economics Times, the head of India operations Manu Jain said, all smartphones sales helped Xiaomi to see a 150% growth in Q3 sales. He also added that the Mi models really helped in this growth, and today is saying to its users proudly that it is one of the fastest growing brands in the smartphone industry. According to IDC, the growth in sales pushed the company to hold the fourth position with 7.4% share in the smartphone market in India.

This Q3 performance pushed the Xiaomi Chief Executive Officier Lei Jun to say that, they are expecting their smartphones to be the India’s top most smartphone brand in the next 5 years. It’s really a good performance compared to its Q1 which was 1 million in sales, and Q2 with 1.5 million. The company increased its reach by launching online stores, it’s called online retailer such as Flipkart, Amazon, Snapdeal, Paytm and Tata CLiQ, allowing consumers to buy their next smartphones without going in any physical store.

Thanks to the Redmi Note 3s and the Redmi Note 3, the company held the second position in the Quarter 3, just behind Lenovo.
