Get ready tech lovers: the Indian LG G6 launch will be on April 26! The South Korean electronics giant has already started to send media invites for an event on that day. Let’s have a look at its specs and features again: The LG G6 specs offer a screen size of a 5.7-inch IPS LCD, with a screen resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels and it is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance.

Under the hood, the LG G6 phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset; quad-core CPU (2xKryo@2.35GHz + 2xKryo@1.6GHz) and Adreno 530 GPU with 4GB of RAM. To save data, its internal storage delivers a 32GB and 64GB ROM which can be expanded with a microSD slot for up to 256GB.  As for photography, the phone is equipped with a dual camera setup on the rear: 13MP f/1.8 primary camera with 71° field of view, OIS and additional 13MP f/2.4 wide-angle camera with 125° FOV. However, its front camera packs only 5MP.

 

 

In terms of the price, the new LG G6 will be priced at Rs. 51990 ($805). As a reminder, the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S8 costs Rs. 57900 ($895) in India. As you can see, LG’s phone could be a tough rival to the other South Korean phone due to the lower price! Moreover, there are many discounts which helps you to save a lot of money: Firstly, HDFC and SBI bank customers will get a cash back of Rs. 5000. Secondly, if you pre-order the device on LG G6 launch day you will get another a cash back of Rs. 2000.
