As we mentioned above, a variation on the Oppo F9 adds new storage capacity and changes a few things. In details, Oppo has silently launched its latest smartphone in China called A7X. Unfortunately, the VOOC fast charging seems to have been disabled as well. According to what we learned, the handset has dual SIM support with 4G VoLTE and run on ColorOS 5.2 (based on Android 8.1 Oreo) out of the box.

Regarding OPPO A7x specs, the smartphone comes with a 6.3-inch 2.5D curved glass water drop display with the full HD+ resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. Moreover, the screen boasts a 19:9 aspect ratio and multi-touch support, alongside a 90.8% screen-to-body ratio. Whereas, the OPPO device features usual connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.2, GPS.

Regarding the measurements, the A7x has dimensions of 156.7 x 74 x 7.99 mm and weighs 169 grams. Under the hood, there is only one storage option of 128GB, which is strangely paired with only 4GB of RAM. Whereas, the OPPO smartphone equips an octa-core (2GHz A73 x 4 + 2GHz A53 x 4) MediaTek Helio P60 processor with ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. Concerning OPPO A7x camera, the handset works with a dual 16MP+8MP rear snappers with LED Flash and AI scene detection. Besides, there arrives a 16MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0 and AI features. Moreover, the optics department can differentiate between 5 different scenes using face recognition. Whereas, the device has a large 4230 mAh battery which surely lasts more than a day.

OPPO A7x release date and price

As we learned, the Sunrise Red colour is missing through the Starry Purple, and Ice Flame Blue paint jobs are available, compared to OPPO F9. Whereas, this model is likely never to leave China, or at least not with the same name. Moreover, the Oppo A7x will be available from September 14 (at 10:00 am local time) with MH133 headphones. Meanwhile, OPPO A7x price starts at 2099 Yuan (US$ 305 / Rs. 22,000 approx.). The mobile will go on sale in China from September 14th and is already up for order on the official Oppo online store.
