According to our sources, the new Meizu smartphone has yet again made an appearance but showed up this time on an alleged poster. In details, the poster sketches a phone that corroborates with our earlier reports garnering some amount of credibility. Moreover, the suspected Meizu 16 looks stunning with the full screen and notch-less display up front. Furthermore, the mBack button has taken a hike while we expect it will be available as a software-driven navigation button.

Also, the top bezel and chin seem to have the same amount of thickness portraying a balanced design. In details, the top bezel houses the earpiece and the front camera while the bottom is the prompt for the fingerprint scanner. Meanwhile, it looks like Meizu has managed to implement a fingerprint scanner under the screen. With the LG G7 ThinQ now on sale, it’s only natural that the rumour mill begins focusing on the company’s 2019 flagship – LG G8 ThinQ. Fortunately, we were able to grab a hold of some of its specs for you. For starter, this concept renders were created by a YouTube channel called Science and Knowledge. It takes cues from the info leaked by insiders and from the recent LG V40 leaks. According to the concept video, this is an Android P flagship, that ditches the notch and goes with a 6.2-inch display this time.

The resolution is 1440 x 3120 pixels and the general format and dimensions of the LG G7 are kept the same. Underhood, there is a Snapdragon 835 chipset based on a 7 nm technology. The flagship also features 8GB of RAM plus a very nice looking metal frame. This is the kind of frame colour, thickness and robustness that highlights the screen like we’ve seen on the Google Pixel 2 XL. Somehow this feels more like a Vivo or Oppo phone, sans the novelty of a pop-up camera or a sliding portion. The phone covers in Gorilla Glass 5 panel at the back and one at the front in an aluminium frame.

Furthermore, there is the variety of colour options such as burgundy, blue, and black. To take it up a notch, LG calls them Platinum Gray, New Aurora Black, New Morrocan Blue and Raspberry Rose. Apart from that, we spot a fingerprint scanner and an audio jack on the phone as well. While most smartphones nowadays include a dual cam setup in the middle, this LG G8 ThinQ does otherwise. Its camera system slightly places towards the corner of the phone.

Xiaomi POCOPHONE receives FCC Certification

When we first covered the Xiaomi POCOPHONE news, we mentioned the first phone under the brand already got certified at Taiwan’s NCC. The phone has now been spotted at the FCC. In details, the POCOPHONE phone has the model number M1805E10A. But the model name in the cover letter provided by Xiaomi says the model number is M1805D1SG. In contrast, the FCC-ID (2AFZZ-XMSE10A) for both devices are the same.

Besides, the cover letter also mentions a few specs speculation. To be specific, the handset will support both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi bands and Bluetooth. It will also carry LTE Band 40 but will be disabled by software, since it isn’t applied for the US market. The FCC documents include dimensions and a sketch of the device as well. The POCOPHONE will be 151mm long, 76mm wide, and measure 163mm diagonally. The illustration also shows it will have dual rear cameras.

On another news, the Xiaomi Mi MAX 3 phone recently appeared on TENAA listing with some fantastic specs info. We spot a total of three models: M1804E4T, M1804E4A, and M1804E4C. Regarding the hardware, they are going to run on an octa-core, 1.8GHz processor. Moreover, the three Mi Max 3 variants arrive with a 6.9-inch display of 2160×1080 pixel resolution. According to the sources, a photo detailing the pricing options of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 has appeared on the internet. In details, that picture revealed that the Mix 3 will probably come in two variants, the standard and the ceramic variant with multiple memory options. To start with, the standard variant apparently owning a “lift camera” has been listed with 4 memory variants.

It may cost around 3399 Yuan (~$511) for 6GB+64GB model, 3699 Yuan (~$556) for 6GB+128GB model, 3999 Yuan (~$602) for 8GB+128GB variant and 4299 Yuan (~$647) for 8GB+256GB variant. The second mentioned variant is a ceramic one with a 4000mAh battery and support for 30W fast charging.
