Previously, we have reported about the Android 8.0 Oreo is coming to the OnePlus 5 this January. According to OnePlus, this new update will bring in many features for this handset. Notably, OnePlus 5 will also sport the critical function similar to its successor, OnePlus 5T: Face Unlock. However, to activate this feature, users will need to install the OxygenOS Open Beta 3 program.
Under the hood, the Face Unlock on OnePlus 5 handset enables you to your phone by just looking at the camera. On the other hand, OxygenOS Open Beta 3 for OnePlus 5 also comes with some improvements.
