Galaxy S8 drop test: A very fragile phone!
Samsung has launched its latest flagships, the Galaxy S8 and S8+. It is highly praised for overall specs and performance. It has also been put to some extreme tests as well, and this time it is a Galaxy S8 drop test!

Galaxy S8 drop test: A very fragile phone!
Samsung Galaxy S8 is an amazing smartphone. Galaxy S8 specs are what almost every phone wants to have. Not only that, its design is also gorgeous. However, with that beauty, there are some compromises. This time, it is about the S8’s durability. Recently, JerryRigEverything YouTube channel has conducted a scratch test for the new Samsung flagship. Now, another YouTube channel, SquareTrade, has performed another durability test for the Galaxy S8, which is the Galaxy S8 drop test!
For this test, SquareTrade dropped both the new Galaxy models – S8 and S8+ – from the height of 6 feet, on both the front and the back of the phones. The result was that both models have cracks on the front and back on their first drops only. Compared to the previous Galaxy flagships, the S7 also cracked on the first fall, while the S7 Edge was more durable, lasting two rounds. However, the S8 duo is the first phone during this test to crack both sides during the first drop!
The channel also conducted another test, this time the Galaxy S8’s ability to resist water. The phone was left 5 feet underwater for 30 minutes, the advertised duration of resistance. It was found out that after that period, the sound mus muffled and distorted. This is not a good sign for the phone, especially after showcasing a lot bout its IP68 certification. It was unclear whether the audio problem was temporary or permanent.
Galaxy S8 durability: You need to be careful while using it!
With this result, we can clearly see that the S8 duo really need a protective case. However, you may not need to put screen protection, as its screen is quite durable against scratch.

Digital games make 3 times more than physical!
Nowadays, gaming has become more popular. With the introduction of online vendors like Steam, Origin, etc. access to games have become even easier. One report suggests that digital games make 3 times more than physical games!

Digital games make 3 times more than physical!
Digital games has made nearly three times as much as their physical counterparts in terms of profit in USA in 2016, according to a recent research carried out by the Entertainment Software Association. This report suggests that 74% of game sales came from subscriptions, digital full games and DLCs, mobile apps, and social network games. The rest came from traditional physical copies of games. Both of them combined brought about $24.5 billion. There were also $3.7 billion from hardware and $2.2 billion from VR, a new addition recently.
Since 2010, the year digital purchases became the new trend, digital games have been making the larger proportion of game sales each year. Back then, the digital:physical split was 31:69, but that has complete changed now. Total amount of money spent has also increased during that period. However, in the UK, physical games still make up almost 50% of all revenue from games and related contents. That is what GameIndustry found out from their research. But the number is fast declining for physical copies over there as well.

Blake Jorgensen, EA’s CFO, said back in November 2016 that he thought buying physical copies of games from a traditional store would soon be history. His reason was that, like everything else, people would opt for convenience to themselves, and digital purchases offer just that. Also in the report, 67% of US households have a device for the purpose of playing video games in their house. Also, the average age of gamers is currently 35. Surprisingly, graphics is the most important factor in deciding to buy a game, at 65%, more than price (65%) and story/setting (59%)!
Digital games: The future of game sale
It is undeniable that digital games will be the future of purchases. With its convenience, it will only become more popular. Do you prefer buying digitally, or going to a store for a boxed title?

Reasons for an iPhone 7 switch to Google Pixel
Some people just stick to their iPhones and don’t know how the others can work better for them. Here are some real reasons to make an iPhone 7 switch to Google Pixel…

Google Pixel is doing better than iPhone 7: which aspects?
First among all reasons for an iPhone 7 switch, Google Pixel has the same shape, thickness, and screen and bezel size as the iPhone 7. In addition, it feels as solid as the iPhone. Overall, Google Pixel has a perfectly similar design as the iPhone 7. It is light enough not to feel cheap, not too large in your hands, and has a sharp display. However, the difference is that it has a fingerprint sensor on the back. This is right where you finger naturally touches on every phone. The rear scanner also helps solve the problem of dropping the iPhone while holding on to the bottom to unlock it. Google Pixel really made unlocking faster but in a safer way.
Next, Google Pixel is obviously more convenient to use with a headphone jack. Apple has a very good idea when removing the standard headphone jack on its iPhone 7. However, this has caused several problems. We cannot charge and plug in our earphone at the same time. Then we have to use Bluetooth earphones or AirPods or even a headphone adaptor. Therefore, it would be more ideal if we can switch between a traditional earphone and a Bluetooth headphone, rather than being stuck with a wireless one. Then an iPhone 7 switch to Google Pixel is a must!

Finally, Android has been providing users with various smart features that cannot be found on an iOS. No iPhone has an independent home screen where you can place apps and folders wherever you want to. These square icons just automatically stick to the top of your iPhone. In addition, you may never use and can never delete a folder on iOS. Google Pixel is also doing better in terms of notification tray. It allows you to control your music player, to make quick reply to emails, and to have more functional shortcuts. Google Pixel runs a special version of Google Android, which is considered the best of all.
Are you going make an iPhone 7 switch to Google Pixel?
We have put here every reason why an iPhone 7 owner has switched to Google Pixel. If you can find more reasons, are you going to do that?
