Note that this number only includes iOS downloads, since this game will not be on Android until next year.
With 2.85 Super Mario Run downloads in the first day, the game has kind of “beaten” Pokemon Go records before, with 900,000 downloads in the same period (after three days, Pokemon Go reached 5.6 million downloads). However, this comparison is only relative, because Pokemon Go in its first day was only released in three countries. Only recently was Pokemon Go introduced to India and some remaining Asian markets. Meanwhile, Super Mario Run was released globally on launch.
However, this is still a first step success for Super Mario Run, the game which brings back a lot of nostalgia for many of us. First, and the most anticipated of all, is the return of Nokia. The company has confirmed its comeback in MWC 2017. Also, next year people are also looking forward to Samsung’s comeback from Note 7’s failure. The company is hoping to bounce back in the flagship segment with the Galaxy S8, with some irresistible speculated specs. Samsung will also look to push on in the mid-segment with the success of J and A series. There are leaks about a possible Galaxy A7 2017 already.
Thirdly, next year will be a special year for Apple. That’s right, 2017 is the 10-year anniversary of the company’s most successful product, the iPhone. The mobile world is paying a huge attention to the comeback of Nokia, especially the Nokia Edge – the Nokia newest leaked flagship. Experts has published their predictions about Nokia Edge price and release date, which will be good news to Nokia fans and mobile users.
Nokia Edge Price: Very reasonable for high specs
Nokia fans have been making a lot of questions about Nokia Edge price and when Nokia Edge will be on the shelf, because this is the hottest smartphone and most-awaited smartphones till now. Currently, the company has not made any public statement, but experts recently made an estimation based on the phone specification, design and the official price strategy Nokia announced in the meeting with Economics Time in India.
Nokia Edge comes with bezel-less screen that the edges expand in both sides. Most impressive is the top edge where there is a secondary monitor for quick notification access. Specs-wise, Nokia Edge is likely to runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with 6GB RAM and has high memory capacity. For photography, there are reports that Nokia Edge will carry a 23MP PureView camera on the back and 12MP front camera. There will also be USB Type-C and fingerprint sensor.
Observers said that after a long time away from smartphone market, Nokia will be back with a lot of smartphones at all price points from budget to high-end and Nokia Edge will belong to the latter from $450-500 (about Rs.30,499 – 33,999). This is a reasonable price if Nokia can maintain their products quality. This price is the same as that of the Lumia 950 and 950 duo XL. Meanwhile, the current Samsung Galaxy S7 starts from $630 ~ Rs. 42,999 and the Apple iPhone 7 starts from $900 ~ Rs 70,000.
