The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) model was stated by GFXBench website that it will feature a 5.5-inch full-HD display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels. The device will have a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 back panel. It will run on Android OS v6.0.1 (Marshmallow) and is expected to get the Nougat 7 update. It will also pack a Exynos 7870 as well an 1.8GHz octa-core processor for performance. There will be 3GB of RAM to support gaming and browsing the Internet, and 32GB/64GB native storage which can be expanded to 256GB.

The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) will also pack a primary camera of 16 MP with f/1.8, phase detection autofocus, OIS, LED flash, plus a 16 MP with f/1.8, 1080p as a secondary camera.  4G LTE network connectivity is avaiable, as well as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, Radio and a microUSB v2.0. The Phone will come with an advanced fingerprint scanner for security purposes. According to GSMArena, specific information about the battery have not been announced, but rumors said that it gonna be powered by a 4000mAh battery.

New Telltale game is Guardians of the Galaxy?

Telltale has released a few games already, and they are all highly rated. Two of them, Batman: Telltale series and Telltale’s The Walking Dead, are both among the best adventure games. They based the world on a known franchise, and give the players the option to make choices that would affect the relationships and outcomes (well, some of them at least). It is the design that has been very well received by the players. With that approach, games from Telltale always have their own unique feel. Now, we have words that a new Telltale game is on the way, this time with one of Marvel’s IP!

The game in question is Guardians of the Galaxy. According to a recent report, in the recent strike from voice actors against gaming companies, a document has been revealed, and it contains the name “Guardians of the Galaxy – The Video Game aka Blue Harvest” alongside “O’Farrell Enterprises LLC”. Now, we do not know if this has anything to do with Telltale or not. However, the next game of this O’Farrell Enterprises is The Walking Dead season 3. We know to whom this game belongs, so it is reasonable to make the association.

The document has been since edited, and now only shows “Untitled Marvel Game aka Blue Harvest”. Last year, Telltale has managed to seal a partnership deal with Marvel. However, the is little information about any projects of this collaboration. There is one piece of information worth considering though: the movie “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” will launch next year. If the mentioned document turns out to be true, the time of the movie would be a good time for a game launch. For now, we would have to wait for official announcements, from either Telltale or Marvel.

New Telltale game: Anticipation high!

It has been a while since Telltale released a new game. The latest one is the Batman series. Hopefully, we can get to see Marvel superheroes in a Telltale game soon!

After many consecutive explosion incidents, Samsung had to stop manufacturing the Galaxy Note 7 and proceeded to recall all the products in the market. However, it seems that they won’t give up on their handsets. It is reported that refurbished Galaxy Note 7 will be sold in India in 2017.

Refurbished Galaxy Note 7: India is a target market

Actually, there’s no official information from Samsung about their upcoming plan towards the fate of Galaxy Note 7. However, according to some source, Samsung is likely to sell the refurbished handsets in developing countries including India. The explanation behind this choice is because low-end and mid-range smartphones are quite popular here. Furthermore, according to recent statistics, only 1 out of 10 Indians owns a smartphone, and in the near future, it is a clear tendency that they will gradually switch from feature phones to smartphones.

If Samsung sells the Galaxy Note 7, they may receive a huge profit, and compensate for the loss due to the explosion incidents. However, in case the refurbished Note 7 catch fire again, it absolutely affect Samsung’s reputation. The company is investigating the reasons causing such explosions, and the battery is attributed to be the main cause. If Samsung can not solve this problem, the refurbished phones can be risky to the company as well as the customers.

Until we have the confirmation from Samsung, it can be sure that which parts of those refurbished phones are replaced, or is there any guarantee policy for them. In the past, Apple used to hold an events selling refurbished iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s plus online with many offers for customers.

Before any decision is made by Samsung, we should keep an open mind. It is expected that Samsung will give an appropriate policy and  good quality handsets to cater for all customers’ demand.

According to Bloomberg, Apple AR glasses are testing (AR – augmented reality). This glass would connect to an iPhone to show images and other information in the field of vision. 

Apple AR glasses: current situation

As the source revealed, Apple has started discussions with suppliers and ordered a small quantities of near-eye displays for testing. In fact,  Apple has been preparing to penetrate into AR market. They once bought PrimeSense – a research company that specializes in motion recognition in 2013. They also bought some active companies in the field of virtual reality such as Metao Inc., Flyby Media Inc. in 2015 and 2016. Though there’s no technical details disclosed until now, but it is believed that the cutting edge glasses will spark an excitement to all fans.

However, Apple is facing challenges in developing marketable smart glasses. Based on the past record, Google failed in Glass experiment, which leads to the raise of privacy concerns with some early adopters. Moreover, Snapchat has recently announced plans to release Spectacles, a $130 pair of glasses with built-in camera for recording and sharing clips. Apple is obviously coping with a lot of barriers and competitors on this niche.

Google itself recently launched the DayDream VR headset alongside its Pixel smartphone. Lenovo Phab 2 pro and Asus Zenfone AR are the two smartphones infused with Tango project (which implements augmented reality play in the devices). So if iPhone is integrated with this AR glasses, it will be a formidable rival to all these aforementioned handsets.

Mafia 3 is one of the best third-person shooting games. It has been quite a success for its publisher, 2K Games. It shipped 4.5 million copies in its first week alone, making it a launch record for 2K. Despite the initial problems with the PC port, the success of this game helps make sure that the future of the franchise looks good. Recently, 2K has been rolling out new updates for the game, along with some free DLCs for players!

The free DLCs are new outfits for the main character, Lincoln Clay. There are a total of eleven set of clothes. These DLCs are now available for download on all platforms (PC, PS4, Xbox One). Among those eleven, six of them are worn by Lincoln at different parts of the campaign, and the other five are brand new. There are military gear,  business suit,  racing jacket, among other outfits. These new outfits are available in the game when you are at the mission “Somethin’ I’ve Got to Do”. They can be accessed via the wardrobe of your safehouse or any hideout that you control.

As for the other updates, they are all enhancements and fixes to make the game look and sound better. There will be improvements to UI, nd performance has been optimized. Occasional save files corruption is also now patched. 2K has revealed that there will be more updates and free contents along the way.
