LG G5 is definitely a phenomenon these day. However, besides that flagship, the Korean company has also introduced 2 other entry-level smartphones to launch: LG K10 and LG K4, which will be roll out real soon.

LG K10 and LG K4: awesome choices for budget phones

To start off 2016, LG from Korea has just announced their latest smartphones targeted for the entry-level market: LG K10 and LG K4. The company said both devices will start to arrive in many international markets starting this week, with the first region being Europe and CIS, then Asia, the Middle East and Latin America subsequently. Although advancing to 2016 market as budget mobile phones, the K series sport a very premium look and promise decent camera experience for user.

Specs-wise, LG K10 features a handy 5.3 inch HD display with 3 variants of RAM: 2GB, 1.5GB and 1GB. LG K10 will also come with either an octa-core or quad-core processor with 8MP to 13MP back camera and 5MP to 8MP on the front. LG K10 battery will be 2,300 mAH and removable (Yes, we all need this) and the device will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop by release. For internal storage, there will be some variants too: 8GB and 16GB, both are expandable through microSD card slot.

Between the two, LG K4 is more affordable, therefore its specs will be a bit downgraded compared to the counterpart. The smartphone will feature 1GB RAM with quad-core processor and a 4.5 inch display. Together with 8GB internal storage, LG K4 also offers microSD card slot so that you can expand to get more space. LG K4 camera will be 5MP on the back and 2MP on the front, with flashes for both.  Last but not least, the handset is powered by 1,940 mAH battery.

Although there is no official LG K4 or LG K10 price being unveiled yet, LG remarked that they both are budget-friendly mobiles. Recently, Ming-Chi Kuo, an Apple analyst from KGI, has updated some information about the next flagship handset of Apple going to get launched later this year. Specifically, Ming-Chi Kuo does not go against the rumor of an iPhone 7 packing a dual camera set-up; he even further strengthens it. It somehow gives us a feeling that dual shooter will become one of the main trends for smartphones in 2016. Do you agree?

Apart from the dual cam, some Apple iPhone 7 specs are likely to include a 4.7-inch display with an iSight snapper built on LinX imaging technology. On the other hand, Kuo also mentions that Apple will be maintaining their “tradition” of releasing two iPhone flagship models every year. As a result, we expect to see not only iPhone 7 but also iPhone 7 Plus in September when Apple usually holds an event to introduce new machines.

In terms of Apple iPhone 7 Plus specs, we will not be surprised at all if it comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD screen. Though, accordingly, not all Apple iPhone 7 Plus units will own the dual camera, yet only 25%-35% of shipped phones will. In order words, there are two variants and of course their prices will be different from each other.

What is the dual cam capable of?

Two sensors will be placed on the back of the device and marked at 12 megapixels each. Optical Image Stabilisation cannot be forgotten and we also look forward to optical zoom feature to be on board and maybe along with something new like the awesome bokeh effect. What do you think?

What does Gioness Elife S8 sport to create wonderful 100MP images?

Actually Gionee Elife S8 was leaked a long time ago, but we thought it would never come. Well, maybe because we were so looking forward to this camera-centric smartphone with ability of taking 100MP pictures from August 2015, yet did not see it going on sale then. However, once again we feel very excited to be informed that Gionee Elife S8 is heading to MWC held in February from 22 to 25, which means there are just a few more days to wait.

According to what was posted on GFXBench last year, Gionee Elife S8 specs will basically contain a handy 4.6-inch Quad HD display, a MediaTek MT6795 chip paired with PowerVR IT Rouge G6200, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage (though, we do not know if it is expandable or not). Besides, the whole handset will be run by Android 5.0 Lollipop OS (but it was last year, so we guess the company will change to the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow).

Apart from those excellent specs, the most important key feature of the Elife S8 lies in its camera set, consisting of a 23MP main and a 7MP secondary snapper and going to open “a new era of mobile photography.”  Nonetheless, there are still some unknown points about the S8 that we should wait for Gionee‘s official confirmation.

If you remember, just in late 2015, we welcomed a new variant of ASUS ZenFone 2 Deluxe known as a special edition. It is equipped with a 128GB of ROM (+64GB), 4GB of RAM, impressive ZenUI based on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS screen, a 13MP/5MP camera combo, a 3,000mAh battery and an Intel Z3580 2.3GHz chip. Well, those are special enough, right?! Yet, now, the company will be releasing a second Zen 2 Deluxe Special Edition with enhanced features.

Speaking specifically, this time, the ASUS ZenFone 2 Deluxe specs will include an updated Intel chipset which is Intel Z3590 quad-core 2.5GHz, still 4GB LPDDR3 RAM but up to 256GB of internal storage in total (128GB + 128GB). For the rest, there is no change at all. The camera set will consist of the same 13MP Pixelmaster rear and a 5MP front-facing shooter. The whole machine will be run by a non-removable 3,000mAh cell and a 5.5-inch Full HD display.

In general, the handset’s hardware is extremely excellent and along with unique designs (sleek carbon-fiber style and faceted style with smooth, shiny metallic silver color), the second ASUS ZenFone 2 Deluxe Special Edition is promising to become a hot item in early 2016. Don’t you think?

Though much information about the upcoming Deluxe variant has been unveiled, its cost as well as release date is unknown for now. However, we predict the device will be available for sale soon, say, in late February or March, with a price tag of about $400 and 2 color options: Silver Polygon and Carbon Night. Let’s wait and see!

Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) specs are said to contain a big 5.5-inch Super AMOLED Full HD display, a Snapdragon 615 processor, 16GB ROM (expandable), 3GB RAM, a 13MP/5MP cam package, and a 3,000mAh battery. It is easy to notice that Samsung Galaxy J7 is gonna be the best of the J series this year.

About HTC One M10 design, according to Evan Blass (aka @evleaks, a famous American blogger, editor, and former phone leaker), the One M10 will be similar to HTC One A9, announced in September 2015. “If you like the A9, you’ll love the M10,” said he. As what we understand, the new device will be likely to resemble the One A9, sporting a thin, all-alloy body with antenna strips on the back, and a fingerprint sensor built in a physical home button on the front. If so, no doubt it’s gonna look like Apple iPhone 6 and its variants.

Spec-wise, let us recap it for you. HTC One M10 specs are said to contain Android 6.1 Marshmallow OS with Sense 8.0 UI on top, two choices over chipset: Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and MediaTek (maybe Helio X20 to aim at Asian markets) and water-resistant capability.
