Huawei Mate S launch happened in September 2015 and then receive much positive feedback from consumers. It was made by Hasan Kaymak and perhaps somewhat inspired by HTC models. Looking closer, we notice a metallic rounded unibody, an USB Type-C port, and super slim bezels around the display.

Spec-wise, it is very likely that Huawei will equip their second Mate S with a Quad HD resolution instead of the original’s Full HD. This will completely become a plus for the S2 and help it compete better with other machines. In addition, probably awesome specifications such as Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, a 20MP rear shooter, 4GB of RAM, and a massive battery capable of 4,000mAh will be on board as well.

On the other hand, some features like Kirin 935 chip paired with Mali-T628 MP4 GPU, 32/64/128GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB), 5.5-inch AMOLED screen, Force Touch tech, 8MP selfie camera and dual SIM are totally fine to be retained in the new device. Well, if so, Huawei Mate S2 will be one of the coolest products Huawei has ever made.

HTC One M9+ VS LG V10: Dual front or dual rear is better?

First of all, let’s talk about their similarities. Though, we have to say they do not seem to have a lot in common. Specifically, what we found is that each of them sports a Quad HD display, a fingerprint scanner, a single SIM, and Android OS. This can be partly because of their release dates: HTC One M9+ launch was in May 2015 and LG V10 launch was in October 2015. Five months, in fact, does create some significant differences as technology has been developing real fast.

So, we should be talking about how different they are in terms of specs. Obviously, when looking at the handsets, you can easily notice that the LG V10 is bigger than the One M9+: 5.7-inch main screen with 2.1-inch (160 x 1040 pixels) secondary one VS 5.2-inch screen. Those who prefer a handy machine may find the M9+ more suitable. As for other features, LG V10 specs contain Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS, a Snapdragon 808 (4 x 1.44GHz + 2 x 1.82GHz) chip, 64GB ROM (expandable up to 200GB), 4GB RAM, a 3,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0, and a 16MP rear + 5MP dual front shooter combo. Meanwhile, HTC One M9+ specs offer Android 5.0.2 Lollipop (upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow soon), a Helio X10 octa-core 2.2GHz processor, 32GB ROM (expandable up to 128GB), 3GB RAM, a 2,840mAh cell, and a set of dual rear (20MP + 2.1MP) and 4MP front snapper.

Well, this is really a tough battle since each phone has their own strengths. Despite winning at RAM and ROM capacity, the V10’s chipset appears less strong than the M9+’s Helio X10 and perhaps it will not be upgraded to Marshmallow OS as fast as the M9+. About camera, it can be a bit easier to choose. If you like taking awesome selfies, LG V10 is perfect. In case of caring more about shots produced by main cam, HTC One M9+ is better. So, which one do you prefer?

Those devices have already been available for sale in many countries. For the cost, now HTC One M9+ price is around $600 and maybe even less due to some price cuts. Yet, we’re afraid you cannot expect any cuts from LG V10 at the moment. You still need to pay around $970 to purchase it.

Nokia C9: Winner of Design

Among all the luxurious smartphone flagships introduced with glittering designs we have known recently, Nokia C9 stands humble and modest with a handy display size and basic color options. Hence, this does not at all reduce the attraction it is drawing. Though the Nokia C9 design we are looking at right now is just a concept by aspiring designer Jermaine Smit, it looks pretty much realistic and potential to be produced by the Finnish company. Visually, the Nokia C9 comes with somewhat a leather/rubber rears, while the frame and sides are all metal. If you take a closer look, it seems like on the back, there is a dotted texture. If you ask for our personal prediction, considering this Nokia C9 to be targeted for the mid-range market, we guess it would feature 2GB RAM, at least 16MP Pureview camera sensor and at least 4,000 mAH battery.

Nokia C9 Price: Very affordable!

Nokia C9, if chosen by the Finnish company to pass mass production, will offer a very nice price to compete with other current flagships in the market. If Nokia E1 is said to cost around USD 250, then we would say this Nokia C9 Price will be even slightly cheaper: a price tag between USD 170 – USD  220 would be highly appreciated. Samsung Galaxy S7 will last much longer than the S6!

According to recent news, Samsung will also make Samsung Galaxy S7 battery non-removable like its predecessor Samsung Galaxy S6. At first, we were pretty shocked to know since basing on what Samsung Galaxy S6 can do (around 5 hours of screen-on time for regular usage), it was hard to believe. Yet, nothing is impossible, right?! In this case, its battery is taken into consideration. Nonetheless, despite sporting a larger cell compared to the S6, it still seems not enough for Galaxy S7 to reach such longevity. So, perhaps there will be special software optimization or new battery tech on board to help do that.

On the other hand, some think it can be the 2nd-gen 14nm FinFET process in the chip Samsung is going to equip their flagship with, which sounds more… realistic. Lumia smartphone: Reporting a huge drop in Q4 2015

According to Microsoft, in the last quarter of 2015, the company only sold 4.5 million Lumia smartphones around the world. Just to give you a brief comparison, in the same quarter of 2014, the company sold 10.5 million units of Lumia phones. This means Microsoft’s sales has dropped around 50% compared to the same time one year prior. Moreover, with latest IDC reports showing that, a total of around 400 million smartphones were shipped worldwide in Q4, 2015, making Microsoft’s market share turns out only over 1%.

At the same time, another source is claiming that, Microsoft will be launching Lumia 650 smartphone next month at MWC 2016. And this phone will be the first and last Lumia-branded phone of the year. The figure speaks its own voice: Lumia smartphones are no longer popular among users’ choices nowadays, as everyone prefers Android and iPhone mostly. Microsoft says that they will switch to focusing on Surface smartphones instead.

Our smartphone industry is developing at a faster pace than ever. Smartphones continuously get amazing innovations and updates from brilliant technologies. Trends and popularity change all the time.
