It‘s been a long time since we last heard about Vivo’s devices. Maybe Vivo decided to invest a lot of time and effort in planning for its next launch of multiple products. We have just heard about its upcoming devices recently. It is rumoured that after the Vivo X5 Pro flagship, Vivo is about to introduce Vivo Xshot 3S, a high-end smartphone.

From the leaked information, this phone could have a 5.5-inch full HD 1080p display. Also, it is supposed to be processed by the Snapdragon 810 octa-core, which is the most powerful chipset in the smartphone industry. Above all, the most outstanding feature of this handset is its 4GB RAM and expandable 64GB ROM

As for camera and entertainment functions, it mainly aimes at the camera lovers like other Vivo‘s previous devices, so it is equipped with a 16MP OIS Rear camera and a 8MP front facing one. Additionally, it is definite that the laser focus should improve the focus times.

The phone is said to be using 2.5D glass like the version Vivo X5Pro which may be also unveiled in May. Besides, a large sensor is placed at the back of the body along with a dual tone color temperature flash.

A pattern application has just being file to the State Intellectual Property Office in China by the giant Xiaomi. The application reveals a touch buttons and fingerprint implementation method on a handset. It looks like the company is now working on its own new fingerprint scanning tech, which could possibly appear on the next flagship, Xiaomi Mi 5.

Over the year, Xiaomi has grown strongly and is making its way to a global tech company rather than Chinese OEM. The Xiaomi Mi 4 is sold well in either China and internationally and its successor, the Xiaomi Mi 5 is predicted to witness the same glory.

According to the application, there will be an additional layer of glass cover the home button which will not only add beauty to the phone but also protect all the component inside the fingerprint scanner. Touch ID sensor used on the iPhones by Apple is covered by a layer of sapphire glass.

Last month, the Xiaomi Mi 5 is reportedly coming out in Q4 2015 with high-end specs. So far, Xiaomi has not offered fingerprint scanner to any of its different kinds of products including smarphone. With this new tech, the company wouldn’t have to license ftom a third party.

The Xiaomi Mi 5 features a 5.2” 2K display (2560 x 1440 pixels) and is powered by a a quad-core 2.7GHz Snapdsragon 805 CPU and an Adreno 420 GPU along with 3GB RAM and 16GB/64GB of on-board storage. Keeping the light on is a generous 3600 mAh battery. Back and front cameras are of 8MP and 13MP resolution, respectively.

For the time being, Xiaomi Mi 5 release date in the Philippines and other market is not unveiled yet but surely homeland China will be the first. Along with that, Xiaomi Mi 5 Philippines retail price is expected to be similar with other markets.

Lenovo K80 Price and Release Date

Lenovo K80 will be for sale in China from 30 April at the price 1,799 CNY (equal to Lenovo K80 price of 330 USD ). Another model with only 2GB RAM and 32GB of storage space will be also under release at a lower price. Undoubtedly, the similar features and price but better battery of Lenovo K80 endanger to decrease the market share of Zenfone 2 somehow.In conclusion, the latest technological features at an affordable price makes Lenovo K80 one of the options that people should consider for purchase. Let‘s hope that Lenovo K80 will be available in Bangladesh soon.

After repeated teasing on Twitter, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi Mi4i in the New Delhi in the end.

It is cheaper and more plastic than the Mi4 with polycarbonate unibody design of 7.8 mm thick and 130g weighed, equal to 12 percent thinner and 13 percent lighter than the latter.

The Mi4i is equipped with a 5 inch 1080p 441ppi IPS display with Corning Concore glass. Additionally, the Sunlight Display supports adjusting screen brightness and increasing image quality automatically when the light is harsh. The Mi4i operates on a 2^nd gen 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 615 running at both 1.7 GHz and 1.1 GHz with an Adreno 405 CPU. The processor is well combined with to 2GB RAM, 16GB and dual –SIM connectivity. Although the Mi4i and Mi4 both have no microSD slot, Mi4i is slightly more innovative thanks to 3120 mAH battery and Quick Charge.

The Mi4i is Xiaomi ‘s first smartphone running Android 5.0 Lollipop with MIUI 6.0 out of the box. As for the camera, the rear one is a Sony/ Samsung 13 megapixel shooter accompanied with Xiaomi ‘s 5-element lens and f/2.0 aperture and the front is a 5 megapixel lens with 5-element lens, f/1.8 aperture and a 80 degree wide angle as well. The front camera has the Beauty feature set as default to meet popular demand. So, these characteristics is much more satisfactory to users than the Mi4 which has a very minor upgrade on part of the rear camera.

The Mi4i also overcomes other devices in the market by Visual IVR that has never been offered before, letting users to skip voice prompts by having it displayed on the screen instead.

Expected to come to the Philippines soon, the Xiaomi Mi4i is supposed to be available in blue, white, black, yellow, pink. If there is no gap in its price among the different markets, it is hoped to be sold at PHP 9,071 in the Philippines.
