Meizu boss Huang Zhang has confirmed on Weibo that a smaller Meizu handset will launch this year which will compete directly with the recently launched Xiaomi Redmi 2. Its phone is forecasted to be “Xiaomi Redmi 2 killer”.

Let have a quick look about the Xiaomi Redmi 2 which is just officially revealed yesterday. Its phone will come with the super-impressive price of 699 Yuan (PHP 5100). This phone has  much more compact, such as: the Redmi 2 runs on Snapdragon 410, quad-core Cortex-A53 clocked at 1.2Ghz and Adreno 306 GPU compared to the Xiaomi Redmi 1S. The most interesting upgrade is that this phone is supported Dual 4G Connectivity. In addition, its phone comes with variety bright colors for young users.

That’s new Xiaomi plan, but now Meizu bosses confirmed a new low-cost Meizu phone is hitting market soon that will compete on price and have better specification than the Redmi 2. Sounds great for us.

We heard much about Meizu K52 which is alleged packed with 4.7” (the same screen size with the Xiaomi Redmi 2). This phone has probably been on GFXbench with a 64bit Mediatek, Octa Core processor. Additionally, its phone should also give the phone 4G LTE as well as 3G and GSM support. Its phone also come with variett bright version.

We don’t know any other details of this phone which Meizu bosses mentioned anymore. But it looks like that the Meizu K52 is suspicious phone. And we also expect this phone will come in time – the Chinese New Year holiday as well.

As announced, with the leaked rumour “Always Desire more”, at CES 2015, the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer HTC has announced their dubbed Desire 826 to their mid-range Desire lineup.

Its smartphone features 5.5″ along with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. It will also be packed with 64 BIT Snapdragon 615 chipset, clocked at 1.7 GHz. As for the photography, its phone will come with 13 MP on the back, an UltraPixel shooter on the front. As for hardware, this phone will run on Android 5.0, is powered by 2,600 mAh battery as well as 2GB of RAM.

The most highlights of high-end HTC products – HTC BoomSound as well as HTC Eye Experience is also available in this phone.

Although we don’t have any info about the price at the moment. But some of other details have been announced already. Therein, the HTC Desire 826 will be firstly releasing in the Asia-Pacific region, is expected to come for later this January. But no mentioned news doesn’t mean its phone will be not available in other markets. On few first days of New Year, we got much news about many new flagships from variety vendors. We have just given you the news of the Asus Zenfone 2 with 5.5″, 4GB and 64BIT.

Another strong smart phone maker – Lenovo have just introduced the two newest phones, dubbed Vibe X2 Pro and P90. Both of them run on Android 4.4 KitKat.

Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro

The Lenovo X2 Pro still keep a striped design similar to the Vibe X2 which was debuted at IFA last year. This phone features 5.3″ along with 1080p IPS LCD and  is powered by the 64-bit Snapdragon 615 chipset clocked at 1.5 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU.

Another thing is that this phone is packed to 2GB RAM and 32GB of microSD-expandable storage. More interesting, its cameras are 13MP in both frond and after side.

There is only one flash for rear camera, not for the selfie cam. But, Lenovo has created a cool flash accessory for the Vibe X2 Pro that plugs into the 3.5mm audio jack and provides nice even illumination thanks to its 8 diffused LEDs

Its dimension is 146.3 X 71.0 X 6.95 and its weight is 140g. It is powered by 2410 mAh. On the connectivity side, the smartphone is well covered with many radios including LTE Cat.4 and Wi-Fi ac support.

Its phone will be available in three colors: Champagne Gold, Rock Pink and Electric Blue. It will be launched in April but its price isn’t confirmed actually.

Lenovo P90

The Lenovo P90 features at a quite larger screen of 5.5″ along with 1080p TPS LCD (at the same as Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro). It is powered by an Intel Atom Z3560 chipset clocked at a 1.83 quad-core CPU. As for the hardware, it is packed to 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. But the most its outstanding is an powerful 4,000 mAh battery.

This phone is quite bigger than the Vibe X2 Pro, at the dimension of 150×77.4×8.5mm and is weighted at 156g. It also lack dual-SIM capabilities, settling for a single LTE-capable slot.

The Lenovo P90 will be available in February in three colors: Pearl White, Lava Red and Onyx Black in February, but once again no price has been mentioned.

Xiaomi is known as a company which always offer possible specs with very affordable price tag. But now, it seems that Xiaomi wanna change this strategy into more expensive phone with Xiaomi Arch.

A new device calling to be Xiaomi Arch was leaked in a poster. The above image said that the phone was the world’s first dual curved screen design handset in the market. More interesting, this phone will come with both two curved sides, not only one side in Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.

As soon as we get the news about a curved edge display design of Samsung. It makes many surprise for many of us. And they have to take a long time in research and development of its new phone. This phone of Samsung is sold in limited quantities and also at a very premium cost.

The curves will reportedly feature shortcut menus much like the Note Edge as well as instant notifications regarding calls, messages etc. The design looks cool with three capacitive buttons at the bottom and MI logo at the top of device. But, noted that this is just a poster and absolutely not a real phone. Maybe it is created as shaked up concept for global Xiaomi fans. Cuz Xiaomi targeted to very different segment than Samsung, so, in my view, i think it will hard to be the truth.

But we can assume if they reveal such type of poster then it can be possible they should be working on this for sure.So finger crossed and wait for the official announcements.

2014 is a huge successful year of Xiaomi. And Xiaomi fans are waiting for some good news from this corp. January 2015 is probably the amazing time for Xiaomi lovers. On January 4th, we saw the upgrade of the Xiaomi Redmi 1S with Dual 4G LTE Sim, reporting the 4.7″ screen. And as our previous articles, we expected for a “new flagship” of Xiaomi on January 15th if everything is on process.

There are too much news and rumours about the launch of alleged Xiaomi Mi5 on Jan 15th. But until now, we don’t know more info except for 3 leaked photos of the alleged leaked phone. It seems that the mentioned phone is probably new Xiaomi Redmi Note 2.

We expect the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 will pack some impressive features with affordable price. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is expected to be priced at 999 Yuan or nearly PHP 7336 price tag. With this price, this phone is really remarkable for the specs combination.

Moreover, we also expect the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 will be packed with MIUI V6 running on top of Android 4.4.1 and is powered by a 3100 mAh capacity. As for the photography, this phone come with specs likes recent flagship, meaning 13MP in the main cam and 5MP in the secondary cam.

Chinese-based smartphone makers are more and more attractive. The more intense, the more high-quality products will be created. Meizu is one of the strongest rival of Xiaomi. And it seems that Meizu also want to speed-up its process. Meizu has introduced the Meizu m1 Note which can be seen as the direct competitor of Xiaomi Redmi Note. This phone even has much more identical specs like the upcoming Redmi Note 2. Personally, it seems that the Meizu m1 Note looks even more colorful and stylish.

In general, sounds great when hearing this new Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 for the upcoming launch. We hope that the strong competition between Xiaomi and Meizu can makes a lower price of Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 under the first expected price- 999 Yuan or PHP7336.

Congrats Xiaomi for a successful 2014. Hope its company will launch more and more affordable flagships in the future. We heard about the Dual 4G LTE edition of Redmi 1S a couple of weeks ago. And just after a few days after the new year, we are hearing the news of official launch of the new Xiaomi Redmi 2 on Jan 4th.

The new Xiaomi Redmi 2 is the successor of the Xiaomi Redmi 1. Therefore, there are many similarities between them. In detail, the Xiaomi Redmi 2 sports the same 4.7″ along with 720 x 1280 screen found on the Redmi 1S. As for battery, this phone is powered by quite stronger capacity than its predecessor, at 2200 mAh instead of 2000 mAh. In addition, its phone comes with variety bright colors for young users.

The Xiaomi Redmi 2/Hongmi 2 will debut the local market on this Friday (January 9) at CNY 700, $ 110 or only PHP 5140. But there is not any official statement for global ship. And we will let you know as soon as getting news.

Recently, we heard about a “new flagship of Xiaomi” for new year 2015. And we also hope the Xiaomi Mi5 will be published on this Jan 15th as expected.

Good news for New Year. The upcoming Microsoft Lumia 1330/1335 has been appeared in China already. Both of them come in few photos and we can know a little about its size and overall look.

This phone reports a 5.7″ HD OLED display. This size of screen is much more bigger than its sibling Lumia 535 which you can easily realize in the below pic. Another thing is that this phone features a 14.1 MP rear camera with Zeiss optics and LED flash along with a 5MP secondary shooter.

For specific detail, its phone will be powered by Snapdragon 400 MSM8926 chipset with quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU. Moreover, this phone is packed with 1 GB of RAM and Cat4 LTE connectivity. This phone will be called the RM-1062 and it passed FCC certification, of course. More interesting, this phone is supported for LTE- Advanced networks. It is clear that the Lumia 1330/1335 are apparently the first Window phones that take the users fast connectivity experience ever.

We are looking forward to getting in our hands this phone in the Spring, meaning early this new year. But, all of the informations about its price and its launch date aren’t revealed yet. And we let you know as soon as we get them.

Sony lovers all over the world will be jealous with Germany fan cuz Sony has released a limited edition series of the Xperia Z3 devices. Its contain three kind of devices: the Z3, Z3 Compact, Z3 Tablet Compact. And the most interesting of this devices is that they will be exclusive etched on the glass back with variety colors.

It will be etched based on the choice of 3 famous designers as special inspiration. Each guy will choose one city for etching as part of the “Stadt Talente” project. The Xiaomi Mi5 has been created too much rumours around it. A few days ago, we found 2 leaked photos in white and black color but in quite different look. Both of them come with a large screen, is guessed to about 5.5″-5.7″ screen with extremely thin bezels. Although we found hardly to see the receiver, light sensor, camera and Xiaomi logo very clearly in black edition. But it’s more easier to see that both are similar to Xiaomi Mi 4 in design but with a larger screen.

According to some rumours, it seems that Xiaomi has plan to begin 2015 with the introduction of a new Flagship Smartphone as Xiaomi Ceo announced. Its new phone maybe come in Q1 2015 and to enhance the rumours a new purported leaked image of the Xiaomi Mi5 has been posted. This phone is added of fingerprint scanner home button.

The previous leak said that this phone will come with Snapdragon 805 SoC and at least 3GB of RAM as well as supporting 4G LTE connectivity, a QHD display. But some one believed that this phone probably arrive with Snapdragon 810 Soc and maybe pack with 4GB of RAM.

We are looking forward to seeing the Xiaomi Mi5 at CES 2015 but Xiaomi confirmed earlier that they wont show off in CES 2015. It means that they also definitely wont release in USA soon. We still hope that Bin Lin’s announcement is true and we will see this mystery phone in January 2015.
