Chinese-based flagship makers are getting more closely to the users and paying much attention. But it doesn’t mean other vendors are sitting back. The war between them are more and more interesting. Of course, this is an excellent reward for users.

We are excited about the new phone – called the Saygus V2. This might a new conception for us. So am i. Of course, there is some phone which was rumours or past cuz of so far excellent specs but disappearing afterwards. But its phone highly seems as a real though, as the phone can be seen in the flesh at CES right now. Let dive straight into the specifications of this amazing new phone. The most its outstanding feature is absolutely 320 GB memory, at which 64 GB internal storage and the rest space with support for two microSD cards up to 128GB each. Another enjoyable specs are 3GB of RAM, 2.5 Ghz Snapdragon processor, LTE as well as full Kevlar body. More specifically, kevlar body is similar to material which used in bullet proof vests. Its material makes the phone very unique compared to the majority of alloy and steel options on sale recently.

But don’t stop at some kind above secs. The Saygus V2 also feature 5.0″ has a Gorilla Glass 4 displayscreen, wireless QI charging, waterproof, fingerprint sensor. And what’s about the photography part, its phone comes with 13 MP rear camera, 5MP “selfie” camera as well as OIS (optical image stabilisation).

The Oppo U3 has just passed the TENAA certification with a good look. But it seems that this phone doesn’t have optical zoom as expected.

According to TENAA, the Oppo U3 will feature 5.9-inch along with 1920 x 1080 display instead of 4.6″ mentioned on the Benchmark site. Very interesting, its phone is one of the largest phone of Oppo since the Oppo N1. Moreover, it will be packed with 2GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage build-in and Micro SD card support as well as clocking at 1.7 GHz. Its dimensions is 156.8 x 81.8 x 8mm. Besides the 13MP camera on back, there is a 5MP shooter for selfie lovers in opposite. Price is also no revealed yet.

Some rumour said that this phone is the world’s slimmest phone with 4x Optical zoom (9mm), even thinner than Asus Zenfone Zoom (11.9mm), if its news is right. But in fact, no mentioned words of it in TENAA.

Getting through TENAA for sales, meaning this phone will hit the shelves on the next near time. With phablet lovers who are looking for a phone made by Oppo with LTE and decent specs, its new Oppo U3 could be looked out for one reseller sites.

The Nokia N1 went on sale in China yesterday. And very interesting, 20,000 units in the first lot went through all that inventory only for 4 minutes after pre-orders opened. It highly seems that Nokia brand still has the market appeal for loyalty fans. Especially when the purchased price in China ($257) is higher than the first expected price ($249). Sounds great for Nokia.

And if you missed this first chance, don’t too much worry, cuz the next opportunity will come on January 15, of course, only for China market. Otherwise, you still have some waiting to do, as the N1 isn’t yet available anywhere else. At a price of PHP 11212 (round $250), the Nokia N1 packs excellent value for money with a specs lists that better most tablets at the same price point.

Besides experiencing such great sales, the Nokia N1 is now on a tablet war with other rivals in benchmark. More detail, the N1 scored 589 marks in GFXBench Manhattan test, while the iPad Mini 3 scored 553 marks. Additionally, In T-Rex, the score was 1,437 compared to 1,271. While in the 1080p T-Rex offscreen test the N1 got 1,691 frames and the iPad Mini 3 just 1,598.

Specs-wise, the Nokia N1  has a 7.9-inch 4:3 display along with a 2048 x 1536 resolution. It runs on a 64-bit Quad-Core Intel Atom, 2.3 Ghz with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There’s an 8-megapixel main camera and a 5-megapixel front camera as well as is powered by a 5,300 mAh battery on board. Especially, the slate runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with Nokia’s Z Launcher on top.

No official words about global release, but hopeful, after the first successful batch in China, proves that the Nokia brand continues to have global appeal and the decision makers may yet decide to release the tablet on a global scale.

After US Cellular, the biggest carrier in the United States, announced its shipment for the Galaxy Note Edge early this week, next turn is Verizon. According to its official website, this phone will be available for pre-order now. Therein, the price is $399 for a new two-year contract, and $799 outright. If you are eager to get in hand this phone but want to go with a monthly plan, meaning $33.3 per month.

As you’s probably know, its phone come with impressive curved display on its right edge. Besides that, internal specs which is similar to the Galaxy Note 4, meaning be packed with Snapdragon 805 chipset clocked at 2.7 GHz processor. Another similarities are 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display along with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels with pixel density of 515 ppi. The Galaxy Note Edge also comes with 3GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage built-in as well as a reasonable battery capacity of 3,220 mAh.

According to Verizon, the Galaxy Note Edge has been available in some major carriers in the US, such as: AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile. They also announced that the curved display device will work on its XLTE network (of course, in where the service is available).

Although the Sony Xperia Z4 may have not been introduced at CES 2015. In fact, some rumours said that its giant maker will showcase the Xperia Z4 afterthat to only select the partners. So it means that the day we see this phone will come in a short time from now.

Moreover than that, a Taiwanese website has just leaked a source of rumours and the lasted lot of the upcoming Sony Xperia Z4. Its source also said that this phone will be available in two variants: 2K display and Full HD display. Therefore, the higer-resolition (2K) will be going to sell in the US, while the Full HD verision for the entire markets.

Furthermore, it’s said that Sony has succeeded in further improvement the water resistant capabilities of the Xperia Z4. Which means that its phone doesn’t require a flap cover for the USB port in attempt to keep water away from the internal components. The front-facing camera is also expected to be upgraded, but there’s no further words on specifics.

In mid of December 2014, alleged photo of 13″ Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet Ultra was leaked. Its pic also shows a Sony-branded smartphone going with a glossy metal frame and camera shutter button on the right side. According to this news, this phone will be packed with 12.9″ screen along with an enormous display resolution of 3840 x 2400 pixels, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, clocked at 2.86GHz as well as unlikely 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage built-in. Very interesting, its phone will be powered  by a massive 12,100mAh in a slinky 8.6mm thickness.

As expected, the Nokia N1 tablet be officially released today in China. Before, its phone is expected to be priced at around 249 USD (pre-tax) which is around 11200 peso Philippines. But unpleasantly, this device is at the price of CNY 1,599, roughly $257 (or PHP 11587) in China. It highly looks like Chinese fans are much eager and are ready to pay higher price for this tablet.

The Nokia N1 has a 7.9-inch 4:3 display along with a 2048 x 1536 resolution. It runs on a 64-bit Quad-Core Intel Atom, 2.3 Ghz with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The Meizu m1 Note seems the best choice of PHP 7000 and was launched in China before Christmas. This phone offers many impressive specs, needless to list: 5.5-inch IGZO display with a resolution of 1080p along with a pixel density of 403ppi and a 75% reduction in reflection, 64-bit MT6752 chipset, 3,140mAh, 13MP/5MP for rear/selfie shooter. And more enjoyable, it is priced at only 160USD. 

Meizu have had already the Meizu M463U phone approved for China market, which is also good news for all of us. Because this is the codename for the China Unicom version of the phone supporting for WCDMA and FDD-LTE networks.

Pls notice that the first batch of Meizu m1 Note released in China are TD versions which only support China Mobile 3G and LTE networks. But its phone will only run with GSM internationally (outside of China).

And now, Meizu lovers seems to be over-excited with an update of its FDD-LTE version and it will be available soon. No official words of launch date as well as its price, although its Unicom variant is allowed to be purchased in China.

At the end of last year, Bin Lin – Co-founder and President of Xiaomi said that his company will unveil its next flagship device in January 2015. The Xiaomi lovers are immediately wonder that which phones will be mentioned and what feature will be packed in its phone?

Once again, Lei Jun, the founder of Xiaomi took to Weibo to announce that there is no better way to start the year than to announce a flagship device. “There’s no better way to start 2015 than with our newest products” said Lei Jun. Therefore, Xiaomi will introduce its handset at the Beijing National Convention Centre at 2pm local time on 15th January. It has also leaked a poster including a hand with a shadowy image of the device in the back-ground. Its device is probably either a smartphone or a tablet. Its message also means ” Slimmer than the wings of cicada” (an insect in China). It seems that its new phone will be thinner than ever. Recently, we heard much about the alleged rumour Xiaomi Mi5/Xiaomi Mi 4S and also Xiaomi Mi Pad 2? Two options might be the mentioned device.

As per past reports, Xiaomi Mi5 is expected to feature a 5.7-inch QHD screen, 64-bit based Snapdragon 810 series SoC (System on Chip) with Adreno 430 graphics engine, finger-print sensor, 4GB RAM, 16GB memory built-in and an impressive 20.7-megapixel rear camera with Sony Exmor RS sensor.

Notice: We saw the first Snapdragon 810 at CES with the LG G Flex 2 and the first 4GB of RAM with the Asus Zenfone 2. So so we might see those specs on the new XIaomi Mi5 as well. Xiaomi Mi5 appears concentrating on much modern features. Almost loves thin bezels and large display? But what about the battery life? We hope that this phone will be powered a reasonable battery capacity for whole one day usage without charging.

Finally we will see the upcoming Xiaomi’s flagship. We are highly sure that its device will make us surprised no matter which one? But personally, we think that is Xiaomi Mi5 which is expected to come with amazing Snapdragon 810, 4GB of RAM as well as 1999 Yuan.

CES is now taken place and according to the newest announcement of Samsung, it is said that Samsung will alleged introduce both the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge at the trade show. Therefore, Samsung want to select partners, including carriers and accessory makers via this introducing.

According to industry insiders cited by the Korean outlet Asian Economies, the SGS6 Edge will be Samsung’s first smartphone to report a dual-edged display. Similar to those of Galaxy S6’s, the Galaxy S6 Edge’s specs will keep some outstanding features, such as: 64-bit Snapdragon 810 / Exynos 7420 SoC, and a ~5-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440. Other specs are 3GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage built-in as well as 20MP/5MP for the main and the secondary camera.

For all of you who are eager to get the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, this phone will be probably sold as a limited edition smartphone. More addition, the report also claimed that its phone will be hit the shelves for “only” a “10 million units shipped in 2015”. In early last month, some rumors about two mid-end products of Samsung as E line smartphones. And now, although, the high – expected Samsung Galaxy S6 is not unveiled at CES. But Samsung, at least, does have a consolation prize for Samsung fans with their two new handsets: Samsung Galaxy E7 and Samsung Galaxy E5. Configuration of E5 and E7 Galaxy are similar to the Galaxy A5, but not owning the metal unibody design.

It seems that almost specs is high-likely expected. But both of them feature 5.5″ instead of 5.0″ Galaxy E5 as mentioned before. Additionally, both devices run the same 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor that’s all the rage for mid-range devices nowadays, and have Super AMOLED displays. And sadly, two phones will run on Android 4.4 KitKat, not forecasted Android 5.0 Lollipop. But personally, we think that this is reasonable feature cuz of Samsung attend to mid-range users so this is a good idea for a lower-cost.

The E7 is at price of Rs. 23,000 or Php 16310, while the E5 is priced at Rs. 19300 or Php 13699. Its prices are announced at an event in Bumbai, India.

Sony has been paying much attention recently with so many rumors and  reasoning about its CES statements. We still hope for future Xperia Z4 as the next generation of the successful Sony Xperia Z3. But until now, its phone just belongs to dream and persistent rumours. It seems that the Japan smartphone maker attent to create a huge hitting for MVC in a few next months. No more words about this future phone anymore.

Sony Xperia Z lineup spends much love and happiness from users and honestly this phone is becoming a successful flagship of the Tokyo-based giant. And to reply this love, its company has no forgotten its promise to update the latest Android Lollipop 5.0 into its entire Xperia Z family. And it will be happier when we know that its first build for Xperia Z3 devices can probably expected as early February, according to company’s CEO – Michael Fasulo.

Its improvement proves Sony are trying their best to dedicate to its current users and in attempt to bring the best experience for its current users. Very interesting we have already seen a few glimpses of the newest repetition of Google’s mobile OS, running on Sony devices. This is not the first time Sony build Android 5 for their products. Xperia Z Ultra GPe users have been trying Android 5 for a past few months. And Sony themselves even propose a concept build of AOSP Lollipop and took it on Xperia Z1, Z2 and Z3 devices.

At CES yesterday, LG has introduced LG G Flex 2 as the first phone is powered by Snapdragon 810 chipset. The LG G Flex was the first phone with flexible display and is really impressive smartphone. And it looks like that its successor will be much more remarkable when still keep its predecessor’s advantage and added more upgrades.

In more detail, its phone comes with a larger 5.5″ screen along with a resolution of 1920x1080p. LG has developed P-OLED tech to the point where 1080p screens are possible and the Flex2 benefits from that. Moreover, as for the hardware, we will find 2GB RAM, 16GB or 32GB internal storage version, which are extendable via Micro SD. It also runs on Android Lollipop V 5.0.

As for camera, the LG G Flex 2 owns a 13MP Shooter with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and laser auto focus as on the LG G3. The front-facing camera is a 2.1 MP Selfie shooter. The phone is powered by a reasonably large 3000mAh battery to support your 5.5″ Flex Screen. More enjoyablly, the back of this phone is “self healing” and covered by a very fancy Glass that also bends. Compared to the first G Flex, the healing back restores has been improved in only 10 seconds at room temperature, while the first iteration took up to 3 minutes to heal.

The LG G Flex 2 will be launched in its domestic market by the end of the month and in Q1 2015 internationally. We will update more information after getting more news.
