Xiaomi announced today that the long awaited phone Xiaomi Mi4 FDD-LTE will be launched officially on December 16. This is actually a good news whereas you know that the original Xiaomi Mi4 which is supported with FDD-LTD only available inside China. And now, the new FDD modern will be realeased not only on China Unicom but also most international 4G networks. We guess that many of you will be happy for this news.

Until now, Xiaomi will only sell the Xiaomi Mi4 version of 16GB at a price of 1999 yuan. So, needless to say that you still take a little time to wait for its phone of the black and 64GB version. The 64GB black FDD-LTE version still has no official release date or price announced.

It seems that all of specs of the Xiaomi Mi4 FDD-LTE will remain practically unchanged with the Xiaomi Mi4 LTE. It means that its phone comes with 5″ Full HD display, Snapdragon 801, clocked at 2.5Ghz, 3GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage. Additionally, the Xiaomi Mi4 also features with a 8MP secondary shooter and 13MP Sony rear camera. Besides that, it is powered by a battery capacity of 3080 mAh.

The new FDD-LTE Model is made in attempt to work with China Unicom networks but will work on most international 4G networks as well. We can see that the new Xiaomi Mi4 will work with GSM, TD-LTE, GSM and WCDMA too, especially when searching for the TENAA specs

The Xiaomi Mi4 will be priced at 1999 yuan (or PHP14563) and we hope that Xiaomi will have plan to launch officially the Xiaomi Mi4 in more countries.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 comes to us with 2 already processor variants. One runs on Exynos 7 Octa and the other arrive with Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset. And recently, it seems that Samsung is planning to create one more versions with Snapdragon 810 rather than the 32-bit technology used by traditional smartphones. “Our sources have revealed to us that a new variant of the Galaxy Note 4 with a Snapdragon 810 SoC is being tested for some major carriers in South Korea,” SamMobile reports. “These carriers might be LG+, SKT, and Olleh, but we are not too sure about the names.”

Although these are both solid chips, and the Snapdragon 805, is still a frightful chipset – one of the best available for mobile devices. But, it lacks of an important feature. It only features a 32 bit architecture. So, Snapdragon 810 is absolutely a trong push for the phablet’s future proofing. The Snapdragon 810 is a perfect solution in a bid to remedy this problem. It also brings the Adreno 430 GPU to the table, which is also a meaningful upgrade over the current Adreno 420 found in the Galaxy Note 4. It might take a couple of months before this updated variant is released. Earlier this week, there are some rumour news which said that Snapdragon 810 likely be hold over the chip’s arrival date. Do you remember in a speech of Meizu’ CEO – Jack Wong, he said that there will have 3 products in their pipeline in this year. The MX4 Pro was launched last week. So, if Meizu still keep the promise, it essentially means that we will see two more handsets from the company. But honestly, we don’t know exactly he mentioned about the Chinese year (the Lunar year) or the calendar year. But whatever it means 2 Meizu’ products will be arrived this Dec (calendar year) or 2 months later (Lunar year).

One of the remaining products could be the long rumored Meizu Blue Charm Note. Fortunately, we have leaked pics of this alleged cellular. You can easily recognize that this phone similar to iPhone 5C in design, especially in the glossy plastic back and the round corners.

Maybe, in this launch time, Meizu targets to the young users with variety bright colors. As you can see in the below images, the Blue Charm Note have a bigger dimension than the recently leaked K52 (White color we revealed you in the previous article). The Meizu K52 probably sports a 4.6″ screen.

Of course, except for the picture, we don’t have much detail. But reviewing from the earlier leak the Blue Charm Note will compete directly with the Redmi Note. Therefore, we hope that this phone will have many similarities in specs and price with the Xiaomi Redmi Note. So, the Blue Charm Note probably arrive with 5.5 inch 1080p display, powered by MT6752 64-bit Octa Core SoC. Moreover, some additional feature is 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.

No matter which phone will be launched next, it is clear that Meizu is creating and trying to launch many more affordable and high-quality device. It looks like the tech war between Meizu and Xiaomi is really fierce. If the alleged Blue Charm Note turns out to be even nearly as good as the Redmi Note, then we have one more affordable option to choose.

In response to reply for the rumor of having a low-price Android phone which will be launched in the Christmas holiday. And now, finally, this rumours were partly came to the end with some photos appear on Weibo.

There will be 4 Meizu products launch this year thanks for Jack Wong’s speech. Therefore, the 3rd could be seemingly closer to users after 2 launched products (the MX 4 and the MX4 Pro). So we guys expected the rumours which claimed a second Mediatek powered Meizu is launching soon. This phone is known as the name Meizu K52 which has been on GFXbench with a 64bit Mediatek, Octa Core processor. Additionally, its phone should also give the phone 4G LTE as well as 3G and GSM support.

These images which showed up on Weibo earlier are rumoured to be of the new Meizu phone. And clearly that this phone has a similar white plastic as the previous siblings – Meizu MX3. The images will let we see a good glimpse at the rear shell which has a similar large space for a glass lens on the main camera, and room for what feature to be dual LED flash.

Last week we saw an unexpected report from Business Korea concerning about the launch of new generation SoC by Qualcomm. According to this report, it was likely to hold over the chip’s arrival date.

Fortunately, yesterday, Job Carvill, Senior Director of Public Relations at the California-based semiconductor manufacture removed all of the suspects and said constantly that the Snapdragon 810 will arrive as scheduled without any troubles. Although he denied commenting on the speculations themselves, but he said a little about the future of their upcoming chipset:

“I can tell you that everything with Snapdragon 810 remains on track and we expect commercial devices to be available in 1H 2015”

This news is really excellent for not only OEMs but also all of eager customers who have been waited for a long time to get their hands on the next generation of smartphone handsets. This kind of phones will be powered by the 20nm, 64-bit Qualcomm chip. And with Snapdragon 810 feature is already available in the market, it looks like that we will see the next modern consumer phones out in the mid 2015 soon.

It looks like there have been many complaints recently about “Refurbished” OnePlus One. In order to make it more clearly, finally, the company decided to explain about this matter to put it to rest.
In a forum post, OnePlus mentioned about the seven cases (you can see it in the related links). When the buyers said that it seems that they received a refurbished unit. In fact, some units had open boxes, scratches on the unit, already photos in the phone, the OS already setup out of the box, and in one case as well as an extra screen protector on the unit.

Although, OnePlus One is trying to prove that the phone couldn’t be refurbished. And, they are still checking up on the matter. Lenovo S90, a completion clone of iPhone 6 took many of us a surprising. And now, it looks like that Lenovo planned to launch another newest iPhone lookalike, but this time takes inspiration from iPhone 5C series, called Lenovo S60-t.

This phone was pass through the careful test to get the TENAA certification. It’s easy for you to find that there is no much differences between this phone with iPhone 5C, of course, is not an exact copy. But it seems that this phone take inspiration much from iPhone 5. Lenovo, as you know, is one of global smartphone giant and Umi, a new flagship maker based on Chinese. Chinese phone manufacturers are really shaken up the market with many thin, stylish phones that offer both great looks and design. In addition, most of them are being packed with high-tech.

Lenovo Sisley

I guess that when you set this phone in hand, you will have a feeling of touching an iPhone. Apparently, Lenovo Sisley have a same appearance with iPhone6 and can probably call it a iPhone clone.

And although there isn’t LTE there is room for either dual SIM or a single SIM and micro SD. This phone is powered by a lighter battery capacity than Lenovo, at 2780 mAh.
A plus for Umi is a quite lovely packaging with a screen protector, fancy alloy USB cable, case and Texas instruments fast charger.

Lenovo Sisley Vs UMi Zero : which would you choose?

Umi have more advantages than Lenovo sisley. It priced at only $199.99 ( nearly 8930 PHP). In comparison to Lenovo, Umi is much more beautiful to the eye. And a fast charger makes much sense.
In conclusion, we can see that Umi Zero is at lighter price, more powerful battery, better appearance, better processor. Plus as far as we can tell Lenovo aren’t actually officially marketing the Sisley outside of China, while UMi are attending going international market.

In recent time, we provided you two articles which mentioned about a new device of Meizu, probably called Meizu K52. And finally, we got the official confirmation about this rumour news. According to the interview with ZOL Mr Li Nan, Meizu’s vice president of technology , said that today (8th Dec) will be the official announcement of its phone. So i’m wonder that could this be the “low-cost” Meizu K52 we waited for a long time?

Although any detail informations didn’t be provided, it’s surely that this is the device which recently showed on the GFX Bench database. Whereby, the handset will arrive with a MTK6752 CPU 8 Cores are clocked at 1.7Ghz supplemented 1.9G + 12G memory. Apparently, the MT6752 is not as strong as the Meizu’s MX4 MT6595 CPU, but at least you get 64BIT and LTE Support. The screen is 4.6inches screen with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixel is also confirmed. It runs on Flyme based on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat. This phone is expected to be priced at around $ 160 (or PHP 7143).

The Meizu MX4 and the MX4 Pro, featuring 5.36-inch and 5.5-inch displays, respectively, met a huge demand on buying. As you know that, Meizu got nearly 7 Million Pre Orders for MX4 Pro alone when it went on sale in China.
In addition, Meizu VP also mentioned that the company won’t introduce MX Mini models because they don’t feel the need to do so. He believe that Meizu MX4 and MX4 Pro (5.36-inch display and 5.5-inch display, respectively) fit basically everyone, even those who love smaller flagship
