OnePlus 5 Android Oreo upgrade is back on track!

Previously, OnePlus has declared the delay of Android Oreo 8.0 update on the OnePlus 5 due to a bug. In details, OnePlus had initially planned to roll out the Android Oreo-based OxygenOS 5.0. However, they have decided to release the Oreo update with a partial release of OxygenOS 5.0. Today, OnePlus has officially announced the start of OnePlus 5 Android Oreo upgrade. This new version is more stable and comes as OxygenOS build 5.0.1.

So what does this upgrade bring? Firstly, OxygenOS 5.0 will carry new updates to most of the essential features. It includes a brand new Camera UI, Wifi and battery optimisations with more security patches. For the camera and photos, OxygenOS 5.0 will provide a great UI. Furthermore, it allows you to upload your photos directly to the Shot on OnePlus collection. There is also the Optimizations for photo quality and beauty effect for Portrait Mode.

Moreover, there are also some changes in the system. One of the new features is the Added Parallel Apps. This new app allow you to run a parallel version of the same app using a separate account. In details, it supports various SNS such as Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp, Instagram and many other popular social media. On the other hand, there is also the new design for Quick Settings or Lift up display. The OxygenOS 5.0 also added “Adaptive model” screen calibration and an alarm calendar feature.
