ASUS ZenFone 3 new feature unveiled: 6GB RAM and Fingerprint scanner
What will ASUS bring us next year? Will it be an ASUS ZenFone 3 as what we’ve been hearing a lot so far? Maybe yes! Lately, we’ve just learned ASUS is gearing up to release their third member of the ZenFone lineup…
ASUS ZenFone 3 will be more premium with a fingerprint scanner…
Accordingly, the company is preparing everything to launch a new flagship smartphone in 2016. It can be named ASUS ZenFone 3 as a successor to the famous ASUS ZenFone 2 introduced this year. Good news is that properly ASUS will equip their handset with a fingerprint scanner (FS) to make it more premium. And Elan Microelectronic together with a Chinese company called Goodix will be responsible for making the sensor.
If you remember, some months ago ASUS Chairman Johnny Shih used to reveal the Zen 3 could have a USB Type-C port and claimed that there would be no inflated price tag since they would “eat” the price of a value-enhancing feature if it could satisfy consumers. Actually, we think both FS and USB Type-C are likely to appear in the ASUS ZenFone 3 specs since they are so common nowadays and won’t cost much.

Besides, according to some other news sources, ASUS will be produce up to 30 million units, increasing 50% compared to 20 million ASUS ZenFone 2 units this year. Well, if so, they are really confident of their next smartphone, which also means it’s worth the wait. However, when will the ASUS ZenFone 3 launch occur? Check out the next part for more details.
ASUS ZenFone 3 price and availability
The device is said to appear in May or June, 2016 and it seems ASUS will do everything to keep the ASUS ZenFone 3 price around $300 or $350. And in case of boasting up to 6GB RAM, we are sure that a rise in the cost is absolutely possible and reasonable. But, let’s wait and see!
ASUS Z1 Titan: Real flagship with 6GB RAM, 256GB ROM and…
ASUS has gained a lot of success this year when releasing many interesting and powerful smartphones such as ASUS ZenFone 2, ZenFone Selfie, ZenFone Zoom, etc. So, the following model ASUS Z1 Titan can be the company’s next success in 2016.
ASUS Z1 Titan: Real beast with 6GB RAM, 256GB ROM and…
Technology for smartphones is developing real fast. This year we have welcomed 4GB RAM for mobiles and it is becoming more and more common, so we may not feel so surprised if 2016 sees a launch of 5GB RAM or 6GB RAM devices. And we expect ASUS company will once again be the first manufacturer to introduce a phone like that (as they were the first to announce a 4GB RAM machine).
If so, we also hope the phone will be ASUS Z1 Titan, a model designed by Mladen Milic, a designer, we have just spotted recently. Its design and specifications are so great that we want to share with you immediately. On the front surface, there are 4 speakers to bring you the best sound quality. In terms of ASSU Z1 Titan specs, there are 6GB RAM, 256GB ROM, a Snapdragon 830 chip and a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED 2K screen.
Other features include Android 6.0 Marshmallow, a 3,500mAh battery (though we would prefer a bigger one), and a combo of 16MP rear camera with a dual LED flash plus a 5MP front-facing one. Looking at the handset, we notice it is likely to come with a metal frame which reminds us of the gaming laptop series ASUS ROG. Cool, right?!
ASUS Z1 Titan price and availability
ASUS Z1 Titan is still just a concept for now. But such a fantastic smartphone for working, learning and entertaining should come soon, maybe next year and cost around $400. Though, we should wait more for the firm’s official announcement. Now, it is your turn to tell us what you feel about this model – ASUS Z1 Titan?
Symetium VS ASUS ZenFone 3: 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM battle!
Today we have a battle of two of the greatest smartphones for next year: Symetium VS ASUS ZenFone 3. You will find it very hard to pick out the winner. Anyhow, check them out first before you come up with the result.

Symetium VS ASUS ZenFone 3: Hottets first 6GB RAM battle
First, we have Symetium smartphone display expected to be a handy 5-inch FHD OLED one. Besides, other the Symetium specs include a Snapdragon 820 chip and a huge 4,000mAH battery. Meanwhile, ASUS ZenFone 3 specs are said to have a phablet size with a 5.5-inch Quad HD display. Like many Zen phones, Zen 3 will probably use a chip from Intel – Intel Atom Z3590 2.5GHz or better, and a 3,500mAh cell.
In general, the differences are not enough to say which one is better. Due to smaller screen size, we’re sure Symetium’s FHD resolution is already so good. On the other hand, Symetium can be a bit stronger thanks to its batt. So, how about other features? They both boast 6GB RAM and big ROM capacity (there’ll be 128GB choice for you). In terms of cam, Zen 3 is said to pack a 16MP and 8MP (which is more fantastic than its competitor) combo while Symetium has a 24MP (absolutely better) and 5MP one.

So, those are some basic differences as well as similarities for you to compare Symetium and ASUS ZenFone 3. Then, now you know why we think this battle can finish in a tie. They are just two awesome smartphones to stir up the mobile market next year. What do you think? Tie or not tie?
Symetium VS ASUS ZenFone 3: Price and availability
Because ASUS was able to release the world’s first 4GB RAM at a very reasonable price tag once, they can do it again. ASUS ZenFone 3 price is predicted to range from $400 to $500 whereas Symetium price can be more a bit expensive, like $550 or above. Let’s wait and see!

ASUS ZenFone 3 smartphone Launch in 2016 with 6GB Ram
ASUS will be try to repeat their success with ASUS ZenFone 2 – the world’s first phone coming with 4GB RAM, with their new Asus Zenfone, the ASUS ZenFone 3. It will also be the world’s first 6GB RAM smartphone, not the Samsung Galaxy S7!

Asus Zenfone 3 Specs – World’s First 6GB RAM Smartphone
Earlier, some said the ASUS ZenFone 3, the successor of the successful Asus Zenfone 2, would come with 5GB RAM, which had already blown us away. However, it was before Samsung announced their 6GB RAM for smartphones. As a result, our logic is that ASUS will grab this chance to join the 6GB RAM battle with their third generation of ASUS ZenFone!
As for the ASUS ZenFone 3 specs, we hope that the company will equip it with the top features at the time it is released. The trend now is 2K resolution and predicted to be 4K next year. Therefore, the case in which ASUS ZenFone 3 smartphone boasts a 5.5-inch Quad HD display is totally possible. About the processor, maybe Zen 3 would still use a chip from Intel, but it should be something like Intel Atom Z3590 2.5GHz or better. In addition, we’ve got 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage as what are expected to be on-board as well.

In terms of Asus Zenfone camera, it would be the best if ASUS ZenFone 3’s snappers are capable of at least 16MP plus OIS on the back and 8MP on the front. Then, those who love taking photos or selfies would feel extremely happy. The whole machine would be powered by a 3,500mAh battery, yet it could be more like 4,000mAh and above.
Asus Zenfone 3 Release Date and Price
Most likely the Asus Zenfone 3 Price will be similar to Asus Zenfone 2 and the Asus Zenfone 3 Release Date and Launch is in March 2016. The Asus Zenfone 3 Price will be around the same as Zenfone 2. We really hope that Asus will do the same Marketing Stunt for their new Asus Zenfone 3 and be one of the first (or the very first) 6GB RAM smartphones worldwide. Anyhow, the concept is so “delicious”, right?! We really hope it will see the light some day!
Symetium Smartphone project: 6GB RAM smartphone that turns into a PC
Symetium, a company based in Sweden, is starting a very ambitious smartphone project. They are raising a $1,250,000 fun in order to manufacture a product they call “the no-compromise smartphone PC”. Before getting to know about this brand new Symetium smartphone’s special features, let’s see what the device has to offer in terms of specs.
Symetium smartphone specs
Symetium smartphone display is expected to sport a handy 5-inch 1080p OLED display with tough Corning’s Gorilla Glass 4 on top. The Symetium smartphone specs include powerful Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 829, a 4000 mAH battery, USB Type C and 4G LTE support.
What is more amazing? The handset will possibly feature gigantic 6GB of RAM in tow, together with generous 64/128/256GB ROM. If you have read about Samsung working to bring 6GB RAM for smartphones, you will know that this is totally doable. The Symetium smartphone cameras will be 24MP and 5MP for rear and front camera respectively.
To catch up with the trend many users love from Sony Xperia series, the Symetium will go with water proof and dust resistant thanks to IP67 certification. By the time it will be launched, the Swedish smartphone will definitely ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow pre-installed. The company is said to be developing their own SymetiumOS to place on top of Android 6.0.
Symetium project: A smartphone – PC device
So what is the Symetium special feature that we mentioned earlier? Indiegogo, one of the most famous out-sourcing platforms, have mentioned that the phone would be about to connect to multiple screens at once. To make it even more appealing to customers, the Symetium smartphone can be turned into a PC in a blink. If you connect the phone to an HDMI screen via its Type-C USB 3.0 port, the mouse and keyboard mode will be activated immediately. The SymetiumOS would offer both portrait and landscape modes, and you can start working on you “PC” now.
Here is how the Symetium smartphone turns into a PC. Amazing!
The project about this dream smartphone has been designed by Jonathan Gustafsson, who has spent 3 years on it already,
“With Symetium, I want to go past mobile operating systems and join the two together. It is time for phones to stop being phones as they are much more than that and have been for years,” Jonathan said.
– and “In my eyes Symetium will always be a 5 inch portable computer that can make calls and that’s how it was built. This means that there will be no limitation when it’s used without a SIM card”.
We hope Jonathan collects his money soon so we can try this amazing idea one day!
First smartphones to come with gigantic 6GB RAM: 30MP, 5000 mAH and more
I bet by now, you all remember the good news we had about Samsung working to mass produce a new LPDDR4 DRAM, allowing for next Generation 6GB RAM smartphones to come, hopefully in 2016.
And, 2016 is coming in just a few months ahead. It is the perfect time for us to start looking around for leaked news and rumors about what will be the first smartphones to come with gigantic 6GB RAM. Here are 3 devices we collected from the internet. Although for now, they are still rumors and concepts, that doesn’t mean they won’t come to real life soon. After all, many of the greatest handsets had the same starting point: rumor!
1. Samsung Galaxy S7
The first to mention is Samsung Galaxy S7, the next generation of famous dual Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. Of course Samsung won’t miss this chance to be the pioneer, especially when they are the company that will release 6GB RAM for future smartphones. It is obvious for them to “sign up” in the list of first smartphones that will feature such powerful RAM.
Some rumored Galaxy S7 specs include a dual camera setup, 6GB of RAM, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. Although we don’t hear a word about the Galaxy S7 camera sensor yet, Samsung has been famous all over the world for their premium shooters, and the same should come with this new flagship.
2. Asus Zenfone 3
Oh yes, how can we forget that prime time when Asus Zenfone 2 was the first in the world to feature 4GB RAM smartphones. People went crazy hunting the devices, and Asus made amazing business from their babes. Earlier, the Asus Zenfone 3 was rumored to come with 5GB RAM. But this was before Samsung announced their 6GB RAM for smartphones. So if our logic is right, Asus will grab this chance to once again, be the first (or at least one of them) to pack 6GB RAM and have people talked about!
3. Sony Xperia QT
It is actually a bit surprising for us to find out that there is a concept about Sony Xperia Q line. But they are pretty awesome to be honest. The Sony future smartphone concepts have two versions, named as Xperia QA and Xperia QT. While the Xperia QA only sports 3GB RAM, the Xperia QT smartphone fits our category for having 6GB of RAM.
Sony Xperia QT concept specs:
- Dimensions of 150x80x7mm
- Weight of 200g
- FULL-HD Display of 5.5 inches
- Rear Camera of 30.2 mega pixels
- Front Camera of 12 mega pixels
- 64-bit Nvidia X1 Chip
- 2.3 Octa-core processor
- 6GB of RAM
- Connectivity of 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/ g/ n, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, HDMI UHD
- Battery capacity of 5000mAh
6GB RAM phones coming thanks to Samsung
We have very good news for all fans of High RAM Powered Phones. Samsung started mass production of their new LPDDR4 DRAM, allowing for next Generation 6GB RAM phones. Samsung essentially produced the industry’s first 12Gigabit LPDDR4 RAM with Samsung’s 20nm manufacturing process.

Samsung 6GB RAM phones
The real advantage of those chips is that they have a 50% higher density PCB layout with increased capacity as well as reduced power usage. Both of these are very important factors in small devices like a phone/tablet where every mm2 and mW matters.Pleae note that this is Gigabits, not Gigabytes. 12 Gigabits is around 1.5GB of RAM. Most high end smartphones have four memory dies, that means 1.5GB x 4 = 6GB RAM phones for us.
While some of you might say, what should we do with 6GB RAM, please think about this:
- 1) As we have newer ultra-high resolution, like Sony Xperia Z5 Premium with 4K Screen, way more RAM needs to be used by the GPU. 6GB RAM is not that unreasonable when a 4K screen has to support 8MP. Compare this to 1MP of most cheaper laptops today.
- 2) The best part of these new 12Gb LPDDR4 Samsung chips is increased speed. The new chips are 30% faster, which means more bandwith for detailed graphics and general performance. 6GB RAM Phones Release Date in India?
Samsung 6GB RAM phones Prices
Now most of you will likely ask, when do i get to buy 6GB RAM phones? The last time Samsung started mass producing new memory chips, it took about 6 month to be used in a new finished product for retail. That means we will most likely see them around March 2016 in your favorite Smartphones. What do you think about 6GB RAM phones?
