Android 7.0 N coming on the way – you can pick a name for it now
Though most smartphones have not been updated with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, there is leaked news saying that Google will come back with Android 7.0 N…
Android 7.0 N: “N” for “Nut”?
As you know, Google has a great history of naming their operating systems after desserts such as Android Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb (but only for tablets), Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean, KitKat, Lollipop and Marshmallow (the latest one). As a result, we will not be surprised if Google decides to do the same thing with their Android 7.0.
However, things can be changed. Some news sources have hinted that the company could go a different way and be… more open. Specifically, according to CEO Sundar Pichai, the official name of Android 7.0 OS can be decided by the public when they hold an online poll. This was revealed as a new plan of Google when Mr. Sundar Pichai was interviewed in India at the Shri Ram College of Commerce not long ago. “If all Indians vote, I think we can make it happen,” said he (via NDTV).
Though, most people seem to insist that the next OS will be called Android 7.0 N and perhaps the the online poll will be done with only names beginning with “N”. Well, we predict many participants will also consider names related to food such as Nut, Noodles, Nachos, etc. Honestly, we really like the idea of letting Android fans and users choose a name for their favorite OS.
Android 7.0 availability
In fact, there has not been much information about Android 7.0 to gather now. Yet, it’s said that split screen support will probably be added since in a recent Reddit AMA interview, Google mentioned that specific feature has already been “in the works”. And the fall of 2016 will be likely to see the arrival of Android 7.0. Well, you still have a lot of time to give it a name!

30% of new iPhone users in Q3 2015 are Android switchers
“That number is the largest that we’ve ever recorded since we began measuring it three or so years ago. It’s a huge number and we’re very, very proud of that number”
Tim Cook – Apple CEO said in response to a recent report.
So what is the report, which “number” is so large that could make Apple CEO “very proud of”? Well, the company has just received such good news from official reports about their revenue and profits in Q3 2015.

Android users VS iPhone users: the report is real
This means, more and more Android users are not stopping to buy Google-based devices, instead switch for iOS. According to Apple, this shift has been the most remarkable they have ever witness in the last 3 years.
Needless to say, Tim Cook in particular, and Apple company in general, is more than happy about the tendency. Especially when every time they launch a new smartphone, they always get all the controversies and mixed comments from users around the world. Earlier, we mentioned that there are more and more Android users switching to iPhone devices.
But there is nothing that is more convincing than a proven statistics. That is why, with this report, Apple can now keep their head high in this tough world of never-stop-changing smartphone battle!
More iPhone users are ex-Android users >> the reasons
There are a couple of reasons for this tendency. First of all, Q4 2015 includes the sale time of iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, which created the crazy hit in the market worldwide. (Yes, and why iPhone 6S and 6S Plus sell that much is still an open-ended question). Secondly, it seems like Android devices have been involved in more than one issue with viruses, hacking and lack of security system. Next, personally speaking, I find that, Apple users are usually very contented with their choice, which could have influenced their fellow Android users to question theirs and shoot a try.
Do you know any people (or yourself) that are ex- Android users who switched to iPhone users ? Or vice versa? What are their experience and feed backs so far?
Android devices are the most INSECURE to date, with 87% AT RISK…
Earlier we have informed you that over 1 billion Android devices are vulnerable to a new remote hacking.
However, little does any Android user know that, almost ALL Android devices are at constant risk due to lack of security update from OEMs.

Recent research partially funded by Google and conducted by the University of Cambridge have concluded that, up to a whooping 87% of current Android devices are now very vulnerable due to the lack of security updates. This means if you have an Android-based smartphone for the past 4 years up to now, the chance is very high that your device can easily be attacked by malicious applications.
To come to their conclusion, the researchers for the University of Cambridge have collected data by asking around 20,000 users download and run an app called Device Analyzer. The result collected by the test will help researchers rank different Android OEMs on the percentage of devices safe from security risks. This will also show the number of vulnerabilities each smartphone producers have NOT fix on their devices.
Android devices lack of security – call for the solutions?
87% is such a huge number that could make any of us Android users worry. Yes, both me and you are very possible to be a “victim” also. And also in the research this time, Google have pointed out which smartphone producers tend to be the “safest” available.
According to that, Google Nexus is the best OEM in terms of regular providing of security updates for Android devices, with 5.2 out of 10 score. Following Nexus are LG with 4 out of 10 and Motorola with 3.1. Unfortunately, Samsung, Sony, HTC and Asus (all of the most popular brands) have been left far behind with just 2.7 to 2.4 points.

This is absolutely not a good piece of news for any user. Especially when Android is the biggest now among all OS. The lack of security can be a big reason that makes users lose trust and start to change. Therefore, Google, Samsung and many other Android OEMs are working hard to provide monthly updates for billions of Android devices being used now.
TOP Android smartphones and devices to launch in October, 2015
Yeah, we are excited to tell you that from now on, you have 6 special days to look forward in this October. Why? Because those days will see the launch events of 8 fabulous brands with their new devices (including Android smartphones, camera, and tablets).
1. OPPO R7S Design
OPPO has announced that a more advanced variant of OPPO R7 called OPPO R7S will be introduced at the technology fair GITEX at Dubai from October 18 to 22, 2015.Besides, according to some information leaked on the internet, OPPO R7S specs have a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED screen, a Snapdragon 615 1.5GHz chipset and 3GB or 4GB of RAM plus 32GB of expandable storage.
As for the camera, we have a combo of a 13MP rear and a 8MP front snapper (which is perfect for selfie lovers 😉 ). The whole machine will run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system, but we expect it can reach Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS when truly coming out.Anyhow, OPPO has not confirmed anything for the specs as well as OPPO R7S price yet. So, we need to be more patient until October

Google prepares an event for Sep 29th, Huawei Nexus to pack 128GB
The past few months have been very big for Google. They continued from announcing the new Nexus smartphones (yes, two to be exact) to launching Android 6.0 Marshmallow. And rumors already have it said about the second Chromecast. Too much news for too few months. But now we are already so close to be revealed about it all: what surprise is Google planning for us next? The giant search engine has just sent out official RSVP invites for an important event happening on September 29th, starting at 9AM in San Francisco.

At the same time, from another resource that we got, the upcoming Nexus smartphone made by Huawei (known as Huawei Neuxus 5) will come with a very huge ROM of 128GB. If this really comes at the Google event a week later, it is really good to notice that smartphone producers finally recognized our need for a generous internal storage on our smartphone. When considering that in 2014, Nexus 6 from Google already came with 32GB and 64GB variants, it sounds more probable for them to pack a doubled memory capacity.
Good as it may seem, please keep in mind that this Huawei Nexus 128GB ROM will also not be the first ever to pack 128GB ROM since we already have in our market Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe with the same capacity. However, that would make Huawei Nexus the first Google-developed smartphone to feature 128GB in board.
Are you wondering the same question as we are? That whether with 128GB in store, will the Huawei Nexus support a MicroSD card slot? From what we have collected, it is very likely the this Nexus 5 device from Huawei will NOT come with such slot. Though Google claimed that they are trying to develop expandable storage in Android Marshmallow, maybe they think that 128GB ROM is really enough for any smartphone user. What do you think about this point? Share with us whether in your opinion it is still better the have an extra card ready whenever you may need more spaces for your files.!
Only 8 more days till the big event. However, we have not heard any leak or rumor about the Nexus smartphone from LG lately. From previous resources, it seems that the LG Nexus 5 2015 will offer the common 16GB and 32GB options for built-in memory, which is rather not impressive.
Keep your curiosity growing, but be a bit patient because we will know the answers to all question on September 28, at 9 AM local time in San Francisco.
