The iOS Control Center has been a part of Apple’s OS for iPhone since iOS 7 and is now still on iOS 10. Its use is to give users quick and easy access to some essential functions of the phone, such as airplane mode, screen brightness, Wifi, Bluetooth, etc. You can call up the Control Center by swiping upward from the bottom of the screen. However, sometimes it can be quite annoying, as it can pop up instead of whatever you want to happen when inside an app or a game. However, you can fix it with a few adjustments!

First of all, go to Settings > Control Center. You will see two options there, Access on Lock Screen and Access Within Apps, along with sliders to turn them on or off.If you want to access the iOS Control Center from the lock screen, just leave the slider on (green color). However, if you don’t want to, especially if someone else uses your phone, just turn it off. This is useful if you have kids playing with your phones, as they can accidentally turn the orientation lock on, or the airplane mode.

One other occurrence you may encounter is while using an app or playing a game, and you accidentally call up the iOS Control Center. For this, just slide the second option to off, and it will not bother you anymore. The upside is that you can now play your games and use your apps without the Control Center popping up by accident. However, you will not be able to call it up while inside the app, only on the main screen and lock screen (if you leave that on).

All of the features seem very interesting and practical so far!

The payment app will be renamed “Pay”, and will feature social media feed and integration with iMessage, so you can now pay via Apple’s default messaging app. Also, FaceTime Audio will now be the standard calling means between Apple devices, like iMessage replaces traditional SMS between iDevices. Low-power mode will now be smarter, as it can learn from your habits to schedule when to turn the mode on. It will work based on geography as well, meaning it can turn on whenever you leave your house or work if you set it to.

This time, designer Concept Creator has a vision of what the iPhone 8 would look like, from what the leaks has shown us. Let’s take a look!

This iPhone 8 will have dual back camera, similar to that of iPhone 7 Plus. The lenses are arranged vertically, with the flash between the sensors. There will also be no Home button, like what the iPhone 7/7+ did. The edges of the phone will be slightly curved, not as much as the Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ duo. At the bottom are the two speaker grills. Generally, the casing of the phone seems quite shiny and glossy, especially at the back. It is highlu like that the back is covered with glass.

If the phone indeed has a glass back, it will be an interesting turn of event, as that would mean Apple is going for an old touch from the old generations of iPhone. Apple has been known to prefer modern looking design though, so it is unclear whether this is true. Having a glass back also increases the risk of crack the phone when dropping (which the Galaxy S8 did not do too well). Unless, of course, Apple decides to use a special type of glass this time around.

The general big catch is that it will have an immersive screen, like many other flagships are doing now. There are obviously some hints of its competitor, the Galaxy S8, in this concept.

This iPhone will have a 5.5″ Quad HD screen. For the frame, the rounded corner corners are similar to the recent iPhones, which make it stand out more. For the intro video, it is executed really well, with the right music being used, and the background is really excellent, making the phone look amazing. The phone colors shown in the video are red, black, gray and pink. Also, the phone looks to be very slim, and it is hard to make out whether the phone is all metal or sports a glass back.

However, something is clear: this iPhone 8 render will have dual back camera, and will also be waterproof. As expected, there will be no physical home button at the front. At its original will be an Apple logo, right below the screen area. It is thought that the same position may be the fingerprint scanner. The fingerprint sensor is placed beneath the glass, so it may use ultrasonic technology. Both front and back camera would have great improvement, with both having f/1.7 aperture.
