2. Best battery smartphone for PHP 10K
You might be thinking what I am thinking! The best battery smartphone for PHP 10K is definitely Asus Zenfone Max with 5,000 mAH capacity. There are a couple of reasons to vote for this guy. First, Asus has proved their high quality in the smartphones they made. Second, Asus Zenfone Max has a whooping 5,000 mAH and fast charge. Third, with the price of PHP 10K, the Zenfone Max also come with a combination of other good specs: 2GB RAM, 13MP camera and 4G LTE!
3. Best display smartphone for PHP 10K
You may be surprised, but the Meizu M2 Note display seems to be leading ahead its competitors. The Meizu M2 Note display features a 5.5” FHD IGZO. IGZO is the material that “can improve the speed, resolution and size of flat-panel displays” – (Wikipedia), making the images display bright, beautiful and smooth.
Meizu M2 Note price in Philippines is PHP 7K, perfectly fit in the PHP 10K category.
4. Best Chinese smartphone for PHP 10K
Xiaomi Redmi Note 2is probably the best of its own category. Although made by a Chinese producer, Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 has enough good name as well as quality to prove its place in the market. The reason why I vote Redmi Note 2 as the best Chinese smartphone in general for this price category is that, it offers a harmony of many nice features for its money: 2GB RAM, Helio X10 chip set, 13MP/5MP and 3060 mAH!
For detailed information and hands on about Xiaomi Redmi Note 2, please refer to our previous article here
5. Best non-Chinese smartphone for PHP 10K
While many people don’t really mind, for others, a Chinese smartphone will not be in their list. That is why we will also feature a non-Chinese smartphone for the price group also.
Our recommendation is Galaxy J5 from the Korean Samsung. The Galaxy J5 is one of the best representative of Samsung smartphone’s signature: classy design, good build, good main camera, trendy selfie shooter, and beautiful display quality (compared to its price group, of course).
The Galaxy J5 is also one of the best selfie smartphones you can find for this budget, with 5MP front snapper. Other Galaxy J5 specs include: handy 5-inch HD Display, 1.5GB RAM, Snapdragon 410, 13MP rear camera, 2600 mAH and 3G network.
4G LTE is indeed an important feature more and more users are looking for. The Lenovo A7000 Plus, or Lenovo A7000 special edition, has what it takes to be that one device worth every of your penny. 4G LTE support allows you to have faster access by mobile network.
Above are our list of top 6 smartphones for PHP 10K and less in November. Do you find your perfect match yet? One thing I find in common from these beasts is that, despite the humble price, each and every of them offers very favorable specs and features, targeting different groups of consumers!
Apple iPhone 6s and 6s Plus have been announced earlier. And as you know, products from Apple, though priced reasonably in the US, cost much higher than it is in our market. For example, iPhone 5s price in the Philippines is more than PHP 30k. That is a huge amount. Therefore, Price Pony gives you a list of the best Android alternatives of iPhone 6s Plus. Whether you want good camera or better RAM, you’d get it.
Based on the name itself, Lenovo Phab is a hybrid device between a smartphone and a tablet, which comes with a huge display screen of 6.8 inch (while an average tablet is around 8 inch of size). The Lenovo Phab is targeted to users who love to have more space to browse but still handy and convenient to carry along. In terms of Lenovo Tab specs, the device features an octa-core Snapdragon 615 SoC, 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Lenovo Tab cameras are good also, packing a 13MP main camera and 5MP front-facing shooter.
Lenovo Phab price in Philippines
The Lenovo Phab price is US$ 299. This means when come to our local market, the Lenovo Phab price in Philippines will be slightly higher than PHP 14K after tax and VAT. We hope it would stay in the sub PHP 15K as least.
Lenovo Phab design: another clone from iPhone 6S?
From a trustworthy brand, featuring generous screen, good combination of specs and an affordable price are what make this Lenovo Phab worth considering. However, there is another reason why Lenovo Phab is being talked about more than the device itself. Take a look at the Lenovo Phab design, do you feel any familiar? Yes, I am thinking what you are thinking also. Design-wise, this Lenovo smartphone + tablet hybrid looks really like an iPhone 6S with round rears and a fingerprint sensor.
This is not the first time smartphone manufacturers got claimed as copying the design from each other, especially between Android smartphones and iPhone from Apple. It is understandable that the companies “get inspirations” either from their previous signature design or another famous one. However, is it a nice move from Lenovo to launch a smartphone with a similar design to iPhone? Especially when they already had their own brand name with many capable devices both in specs and design? I bet you don’t forget the Lenovo Vibe Shot which looks like a professional camera and very great specs, do you?
