Samsung Galaxy S8 specs: 4GB RAM, 5.5-inch 4K display
The recall of Galaxy Note 7 makes Samsung face the financial damage as well as reputation. That might be the reason why this company will launch the next phone of Galaxy S series (Galaxy S8) sooner than usual. So, let’s have a look at this phone. About the design, the company will still use the combination of glass and metal on S8 like S7 and S7 Edge. The noticeable thing is that there will be no flat-screen display version anymore. Galaxy S8 will only come with a curved-screen display model.
In terms of Samsung Galaxy S8 specs, it will be powered by SND 830 (or at least 821) chipset for the US, and Exynos 8893 for the international version. It could pack 4/6GB of RAM paired with 32GB of inbuilt storage, with the option to expand. This new device might come in 2 screen size versions: 5.1 inches and 5.5 inches. Both versions will have a Super AMOLED 4K Ultra HD display with great pixel density (about 831 – 847ppi). With this display, S8 could probably be used with Daydream VR project of Google.

One of the most impressive of Galaxy S8 specs is its cameras. With this new flagship, Samsung is reported to add a dual camera on the back of S8. These two cameras will have 2 different sensors. One will come with a 12MP Samsung sensor, the other will be 13MP Sony sensor. On the front, you’ll find an 8MP snapper. This device will run on Android Nougat. Of course, the high-end Galaxy S8 will feature an iris scanner on the front like Note 7.
Samsung Galaxy S8: price and release date
Usually, Samsung will launch their Galaxy S flagship in the first quarter each year. Now, due to the loss from Galaxy Note 7 recall, the Korean company might release this device earlier. Samsung Galaxy S8 release date is expected to be ahead of March 2017. About Samsung Galaxy S8 price, it can come between $649-699 for the 5.1-inch version and $749-$799 for the 5.5-inch model. So, let’s see if this phone can go beyond our expectations.
Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) leaked: 3GB RAM, 16MP camera
Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) has just leaked online. With 3GB RAM, a 5.7-inch display, and a beautiful look, this phone will be a tough competitor in the market.

Samsung Galaxy A8: 5.7-inch FHD, 3GB RAM
While most devices in the Samsung A series version 2016 are already out in the market, Galaxy A8 (2016) is still not. Some of them (Galaxy A7 and A3) even have the 2017 version leaked already. Now, we have words that Galaxy A8 is coming at last. Back in August, some Galaxy A8 specs were leaked on GFXBench. Recently, some renders of this phone are also leaked online.
On the leaked renders, Samsung A8 looks quite stunning. This new phone from Samsung will be the combination of glass and metal. The metallic body of this phone will be coated with glass on the front and the back. On the front, the phone could probably use 2.5D curved glass. This makes A8 look similar to the high-end Galaxy S7.

In terms of Galaxy A8 specs, the handset is expected to be powered by an octa-core (4×2.1GHz + 4×1.5GHz) Exynos 7420 processor. This chipset is the same with a Samsung flagship last year – Galaxy S6. Besides, A8 may pack 3GB of RAM paired with 32GB of inbuilt storage (+up to 256GB). For photography, Samsung could add a 5MP camera on the front and a 16MP shooter on the back. In addition, Samsung A8 might feature a 5.7-inch Full HD display and run on an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS.
Samsung Galaxy A8: price and release date
With those specs above, Samsung A8 (2016) will be much stronger than the original version in 2015. This phone will also be the tough rival to many 3GB phones in the market like Redmi Note 4, BLU Vivo 5R, or Moto G4 Play. Samsung Galaxy A8 price, as well as release date, is still a mystery. We expect the price to be higher than the previous A8 version, which is Rs. 25990 ($389). So, if you want to know more about this phone, just keep following our page!

How to minimize Samsung phone battery usage
Batteries are among the most concerned parts of any smartphones. With our tips below, you don’t need to worry about your Samsung device quickly running out of battery. Read the post below to know how to minimize Samsung phone battery usage.

Samsung phone battery usage: use dark wallpapers
The first thing you should do to minimize battery usage is to turn off all the unnecessary connections. This is one of the most common ways for saving battery life. If you don’t turn them off, those connections still secretly connect to other external devices. The second tip is to adjust the screen timeout. Just adjust the screen timeout down to 15 seconds to turn off the screen when not in use, to save some battery.
Thirdly, choosing dark wallpapers can help you a lot in minimizing battery usage. Most Samsung devices are equipped with Super AMOLED screen. So, with this kind of screen, the dark images will completely be hidden, and this will help you save quite a lot of battery. The fourth tip is flight mode. This mode will help you save a lot of battery life. At the same time, you won’t be bothered on your day off.

Also, you should kill all the apps running in the background. When you turn off an app or a game, your phone still runs this app/game in the background. This will consume the battery a lot. So, all you need to do is press the navigation button on the left to know which app is running. Then, choose the delete icon to completely turn them off.

Galaxy Note7 will stop packing Samsung SDI batteries
In case you missed, Samsung has just announced an international Samsung Galaxy Note7 recall because of the recent explosion scandal. And now it looks like the brand has come up with a solution! Let’s have a look!

Samsung Galaxy Note7: the temporary removal of Samsung-made battery
At least 35 models of Samsung Galaxy Note7 have been reported to catch fire and explode while being charged. This is a very huge number and of course a huge scandal for a brand-new smartphone in the market. To deal with it, Samsung have decided to announce an international Samsung Galaxy Note 7 recall. In the mean time, the Korean brand have investigated the cause of the problem and today, there is an answer.
The battery of most Samsung devices is provided by different suppliers, including Samsung SDI – a sub company of the Korean giant. According to the reports, this sub company is the one that produced the batteries that lead to Note 7 explosion. After finding out the cause, Samsung also decided to stop using batteries from this manufacturer until they figure out what’s wrong with the production line.

This will be a great challenge for the brand, as Samsung SDI produces around 70% of batteries in Samsung Galaxy Note7. The other 30% were made by Amperex Technology – a branch of Japan’s TDK Corp. This Japanese has claimed that they only provide batteries for Note 7 units in Chinese market, which is the only one that is not affected by the global recall.
Samsung Galaxy Note7: Will the brand make it?
For those who haven’t know yet, Kog Dong Jin – Samsung smartphone business head has shared that this recall will lead to a huge loss in the company’s profit. This loss is speculated to be around 1 billion USD! But it looks like this recall is the best thing Samsung can do right now. Let’s wait and see if this Korean brand will survive this scandal or not. Are you still team Samsung?

Recall Galaxy Note 7 due to battery explosion
Samsung has made a big surprise when they decided to recall Galaxy Note 7 in the global market. This causes an enormous loss for the biggest Korean giant. Let’s see the reason behind it!

Samsung recall Galaxy Note 7: the biggest tech recall!
About three weeks ago, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 started to be sold to the smartphone market and has brought huge success for the company. However, before it could make a hit in India market, Samsung decided to recall Galaxy Note 7 globally. This could be the biggest recall in tech history. The reason comes from the battery catching fire incidents. At present, Samsung is investigating for the exact cause of these cases.
Until now, there are 35 cases of battery bug on Galaxy Note 7. Although the main reason for this problem hasn’t been found, the company stopped all sale as well as replaced all devices already sold. Specifically, Samsung will need to recall and replace batteries in over 2 Million Galaxy Note 7 handsets, along with a change of the production process, before reselling this flagship.

The phone was expected to create big revenue for Samsung in 2016, and help Samsung get over its rival-Apple. Actually, Samsung completed that goal when they create a big revenue through this phone. But now, on the opposite, the recall causes huge loss for Samsung. Moreover, this incident will definitely affect the reputation the company is trying to build.
How to exchange the faulty Galaxy Note 7?
Next week, Samsung will have fixed the battery bug and give users alternative products. Besides, users also have other options: Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge, if they still don’t feel safe with Galaxy Note 7. Samsung will refund the difference in price between the two devices. As Samsung announced, Note 7’s users can return the handset in retail stores or contact directly with Samsung. At present, Galaxy A7 owns 5.5-inch fullHD display, 3GB RAM, 16GB ROM, and 3300 mAh battery. In 2017, this phone could be updated to bigger RAM and ROM. The rest will supposedly remain the same. Samsung Galaxy S8 leaked: 12MP+ rear dual camera

Samsung Galaxy S8: dual camera on the back
Galaxy Note 7 launch this August didn’t really satisfy many people, especially for Samsung fans. Before this launch date, this latest flagship from Samsung is reported to come with powerful specs like SND 821, 6GB RAM, or Android Nougat. However, this device only features SND 820 (the US version), 4GB RAM, and Android Marshmallow. Now, everyone saves those expectations for the next year Samsung flagship – Galaxy S8.
Samsung Galaxy S8 specs are said to be stronger than Galaxy Note 7 specs. It is said to be powered by SND 821 processor. To ensure the performance, the company may add a huge 6GB of RAM. This flagship will also have an iris scanner, a dust + waterproof feature, and 4K or Ultra HD display. One of the most highlight specs of this phone is its cameras. However, Samsung is not the only brand to go this way. iPhone this year may also come with a rear dual camera.
