Samsung Galaxy Note 5 vs Samsung Galaxy Note 4: what are the differences?
As Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will be unveiled tonight, we hope it will be a big satisfaction to mobile technology world. However, even if the new Note is coming, will it really be the best around ? Since information from even leaked and official sources suggest that Samsung Galaxy Note 5 battery is around 3000mAh, this is quite a trouble. Therefore, unless there is really hidden power within Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy Note 4 will still be the most favorite Note. Let’s see how these two are when placed against each other. Yes, this is an article about Samsung Galaxy Note 5 vs Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 vs Samsung Galaxy Note 4 specs

| Front: 4MP | Front: 5 MP | |
| Battery | Li-Ion 3220 mAh battery | Non-removable Li-Po 3000 mAh battery |
Design
For design, we can be assured that both devices are beautiful. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 design is of course, similar from its predecessor. While Samsung Galaxy Note 4 display is a tad bigger ( 5.7’’ vs 5.67’’), they look almost the same with no big changes. However, many people have voiced their bias towards Note 4.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 display, however, has higher pixel density than Note 4.
Hardware
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 sports a new Exynos chipset with octa core 1.5GHz processor, while Note 4 only has a quad core 2.7GHz. Therefore, Note 5 is somewhat faster than Note 4. Moreover, it has 4GB RAM instead of 3GB RAM on Note 4.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also has explicitly more internal storage options, since it has 64GB and more variants. However, its weak point is that Note 5 does not support microSD card originally (only the DUAL SIM version will). Therefore, if microSD is important to you, even the 32GB Note 4 wins.
The most important thing is that Samsung Galaxy Note 5 battery houses only 3000mAh, while its predecessor has 3220mAh already. Even though it’s a bit faster and more powerful handset, Note 5 is a little disappointing in energy. Additionally, the battery on Note 4 is removable, which is a plus for people who want to insert something with higher capacity. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 battery saving modes and quick charge also win over.
Camera
Their main cameras have the same resolution of 16MP; however, Note 4’s front camera is only 4MP, which is, quite less appealing than that of Note 5 (5MP). Nevertheless, we have to test the camera when Note 5 is released first to know the different, so let’s say this is a tie.
Overall, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be a better choice over Samsung Galaxy Note 5 if the latter does not have any hidden , significant features. As Note 5 will be unveiled tonight, we will have a more detailed look at its specs. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 price and availability will also be out tonight, so stay connected.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 official info: 64 bit Kryo cores & 4k video @60fps
Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 is official now! Whether it is a good news for those who are waiting for flagships that run on Snapdragon 820 like Xiaomi Mi5, we shall see. However, until now, Snapdragon 820 will still be the choice on high end devices. As long as Qualcomm adjusts its heating issue on the chipsets, and powers them up, Snapdragon is still the real deal.
Snapdragon 820 will be equipped on Xiaomi Mi5
Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 official information
As Snapdragon 820 will definitely be affected by the chipset series’ infamous heating problems, will it rise on top during the time when chipsets are being produced by mobile manufacturers too?
The first improvement on Snapdragon 820 is that it will use 64-bit Kryo cores instead of Cortex. Moreover, Adreno 530 GPU, the newest of the series, will support Open GL 3.1 and new API Vulcan. Qualcomm states that these technologies will boost the performance up to 40%.
Snapdragon 820 may be produced with the 14nm or 16nm process like the new Apple chip, which will upgrade the video recording smart phones up to 4k at 60fps. Additionally, 4k video could be streaming online at the speed of 30fps. This seems a very interesting new technology.
The most notable feature of Snapdragon 820 is the IPS technology camera, which supports new camera techniques and autofocus. Additionally, it enhances photo shooting in low light environment and an added optical zoom instead of digital zoom. Photo quality will be higher and higher.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 will support dual main cameras like its predecessor Snapdragon 810 does, but these camera can be different in aperture. However, will dual cameras make smart phones thicker?
Although these new official information give us a more detailed look at Snapdragon 820, we still don’t know how it will spar against new chipset producers. As Samsung Exynos has been far superior in many people’s minds, will Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 still rise?

World’s first 4k AMOLED display with enormous 734 ppi density, breaking Galaxy S6 record
Display density and resolution are part of the criteria listed when one would go for a smart phone. Some time ago, we have published an article about HD, Full HD, QHD & UHD screens on our blog, to provide you some more information. More interestingly, the technology on display does not just stop at what we know, for a new kind of display is out. A brand new UHD display for a smart phone! That is the 4k display from Everdisplay, a manufacturer from mainland China.
The latest 4k display from Everdisplay.
Your latest LG G4 flagship handset is probably a 2k display now, but someday it will be 4k!
Everdisplay has just unveil their new 4k AMOLED display, which is the first in this world. As the manufacturer has stated that this display won’t be used on a TV, we can be sure that it will be sported on tablets and mobiles, or other portable devices.
Everdisplay 4k Amoled display is a 6’’ screen with the resolution of 3840 x 2160p, with the great pixel density of 734 ppi. This is a new record for an AMOLED display, since the last record was Samsung Galaxy S6 with 557 ppi.
The prototype made by Everdisplay is said to work fine, but this manufacturer does not state when this kind of 4k display will come into mass production. If this comes true, we will be having 4k smart phones soon, and for a very reasonable price also. However, some researchers and professionals say that this kind of display is more well suited for a virtual reality gear than smart phone. The reason behind this statement is that not many people can regconize the difference between a 4k display and a normal HD display.
This is not the first new 4k display, but it is the first on an AMOLED screen. Therefore, we can hope that this technology will be used widely soon.
Crazy 18.4” Samsung tablet – a new possible Edge tablet?
The day to the actual unveiling of Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ is coming near. Many websites and forums have updated every little detail about the new flagship Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and many people are very interested in this powerful beast. However, as the day comes near, Samsung leaks some information about its new tablet. It seems a new kind of Samsung tablet will be unveiled together with Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+.
The tablet display is said to be a 18.4 inch screen, which is a very big size for a normal tablet. What will Samsung want to do with this product?
Though there are no picture of the tablet yet, many guess that Samsung will release it as an Edge tablet, according to the teaser. It seems Samsung will make something new for its tablet brand, further differentiate Samsung from the rest of the world. Whether this will work or not, this move from Samsung certainly caught many attention from technology lovers already.
Moreover, as the picture above has indicated, the new Samsung tablets will be destroyed after testing. Probably they does not want anything to leak yet. Imagine you carry a 18.4 inch tablet in hand and set it up on the couch to watch some 4k movie. What a new experience.
We will likely know more about this Samsung tablet soon

Galaxy Note 5: controversies and assurance
“You want wireless charging? Sure, Why not?” Said Qualcomm
Forgot your charger on a trip? You power bank is depleted? Oh and why does your smart phone only stay around 3 hours after your continuous gaming? The problem of smart phone battery life is always as hot as the battery and powers themselves. Moreover, always bringing a charger or power bank with you seems a hassle. Sometimes, you just wish you can charge your phone without them right? So recently, Qualcomm, the famous manufacturer of the Snapdragon chipsets, said that you could charge your phone wirelessly soon.
Qualcomm Technology, a subsidiary of Qualcomm Inc, announced that they have found their way to lack of power on your phones. Instead of having to plug in your phone every time the battery gets low, now you will just have to wirelessly charge it through the phone’s metal case. Qualcomm WiPower technology is the savior, and it seems many people will celebrate this new technology on their phone soon. Smart phone battery saver, here it is!
It supports wireless charging already, but your LG G4 battery can be fully charged faster!
The technology based on a wireless charging standard named Rezen, which many known smart phone manufacturers like Samsung, Microsoft, LG, Lenovo, … are members. The technology allows your smart phones, which have metal exteriors, to charge at full speed or faster than non-metal device or other wireless smart phone battery charging. Additionally, WiPower does not need your device to be in direct contact with the power source.
No more need for these chargers in the future
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 battery can be wirelessly charged too
It seems that WiPower allow allow multiple charging at the same time. For example, your Nexus 7, Sony Xperia Z3 or your friend’s Meizu M2 Note can be charge on the same power source. No more worry about battery life lacking or smart phone battery charger. Just enjoy your trip, and enjoy using your phone.
